Honest straight forward reviews! Why I watch this channel above all other detail channels!
DSW Joyride Productions Thank You so much!
Aye too
No sugar coating. That's why I turn to you for product reviews. Great work
skeeter 93 Thank You very much!
What is BRT
I have a garage but it’s full.
Marcus Cassius mine would be but thanks to my wife it stays organized enough to fit a car in! Haha
Is this a good wax to use on a 2024 bmw it’s purple
I remember somebody several years back showing themselves applying buttery wax in 105 degree temps outside with no clouds...I've been a fan of Adams for many years. never had any issues with them.
love the videos brotha
Daily Driven Mustangs Yeah it seems to be a great product for quick gloss and protects well for a month. Thank you appreciate it!
Thanks for the review...what is the BRT you're talking about.
You are welcome! It is VRT and it stand for Vinyl Rubber and Trim dressing.
Great honest review! I know I love the buttery was mainly because of it ease of use! I do wish it would offer a bit longer protection though but still a great product.
MeanBee392 I like it also! It adds tons of Gloss. As always Thanks for watching!
I use this for my mobile detailing business. I'm the direct sunlight it works really well. I also agree with the fact that it makes the paint look amazing. Does anyone have any real world testing with this tho? Does it really only last a month. I'd figure at least 2.
It is a good product and really glossy. It lasted about 6 weeks on the car.
I'm curious if you'd like the Brilliant Glaze on top of that wax maybe a week or three later.
Honest, sincere reviews. Video quality isn’t the best but I’d take an honest review anyway. Keep up the good work, incredibly useful and intuitive reviews. Well done lad
Griffin Bull Thank you! My videos have come a long way since this one and hopefully you will find they are a little better. I am not computer savvy so editing was a bit of a learning curve. Thanks man
A little off topic but have you tried Meguiars 3&1 Wax? (2019)
I used it today for the first time.
Very good.
Removed light swirls and left the black paint looking wet.
Also extreamly easy to remove.
I'll always keep a couple of bottles of it on my cart.
I just saw it at Walmart last week but didn’t buy it. Maybe i will next time.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing
Yes in the RV section
Our Walmart doesn't keep in in stock so I make sure I order enough on Amazon.
Works very good on coated leather also.
Insane beading that last.
I HAVE A 66 COBRA (AC) INDIGO BLUE WITH WIMBLETON WHITE RACING STRIPES.. WHEN USE ADAMS BUTTERY WAS, IT LOOKS "LIQUID" LIKE YOU CAN PUT YOUR HAND IN LIKE WATER. IN ALL MY CARS FROM THE 60'S (66 427 CORVETTE AND A COUPLE OF 396 CHEVELLES. I USED BLUE CORAL, THAT WENT BYE BYE, THEN. I USED MOTHERS, BUT IT IS A BITCH TO TAKE OFF. I COULD SEE WAX I HAD MISSED AFTER A COUPLE DAYS TO A WEEK. ADAMS IS A SHOW CAR WAX. THIS COBRA IS "LOOKER", WITH LEATHER AND HALIBRANDS. IT STANDS OUT LIKE A BEAUTIFUL BRUNETTE IN A RED DRESS. I USE MOTHERS USUALLY, BUT I HAVE A GROUP OF GUYS THAT LIKE CARS (ALL PILOTS FLYING WARBIRDS)AND THEY HAVE THE EXOTIC 63 SPLIT WINDOW CORVETTES AND 60 CAMAROS AND A COUPLE OF OTHER COBRAS (TWO SEATERS). WHEN I PUT THE ADAMS ON IT IS A DIFFERENT LOOK TO THE CAR, THAT MECUM OR BARRETT/JACKSON WOULD GET ALL LATHERED UP,TO SELL. WHEN I LOOK DOWN THE HOOD IT IS FLAWLESS. WITH ADAMS I GET THE OH'S AND AWS WHEN THEY SEE IT. YOU KNOW GUYS ARE COMPETITIVE ABOUT THEIR CARS. I COME FROM THE 60'S SO,THEY MADE SOME FANTASTIC MUSCLE CARS BACK THEN THAT POSSESSED, THE SOUNDS AND SMELLS (NO SMOG RESTRICTIONS LIKE TODAY) GOOD UNBURNT HIGH OCTANE FUEL AND BRUTE POWER.
Turtle Wax Spray Jet Black Wax works good on the dark plastic trim. I used it on the trim of my 14 year old Ram and it kept it looking new. It gave a natural sheen that lasted, unlike trim restore chemicals that ran and spotted as soon as it rained.
Roscoe I have some of that but haven’t tried it on trim! Now I will have to. Thanks for the tip!
2to 3 weeks but I like it....always doing something to my car.....good for theme....😜
Anyone try using this over a coating of Meguiars Fast Finish? I'm looking for more gloss on my black GTI.
I have never used Meguiars fast finish before but I have used this product twice now and the gloss levels are amazing. The only downside is it only last 3-4 weeks so its not ideal for a daily driver.
You want gloss? Technician's choice ceramic detail spray is amazing!
What's your take on chemical guys jet seal and Pete's 53 paste wax combination ....??? .... Thanks in advance
Hennessy * I have never tried either of those products. I have always used pretty much Griot’s Garage products but lately started trying Adam’s Polishes and some Chemical Guys Products. I plan on trying more products I never have tried before. I just received multiple products from a new company called Sudzbox I will be reviewing in the near future.
I've always been a meguires guy because I think there product Is really good for what you pay for. I normally wax once a month and detaile once a week with quick detailer.
Spawn and Batman When I was younger I would Wax once a month but just can’t do it anymore. Meguiars is a fried and true company with great products.
Thanks for such a well reviewed Adams Product, sadly in the UK we only have 1 retail outlet.
paul taylor You are welcome! It’s unfortunate they only have 1 Detailer over there. This is a good product but only lasts about a month.
Try jay Leno’s wax
I'd love to send you some of our Ethos Car Care products to test on your channel, please let us know where to send them!
Thank you that would be awesome! I love trying new products! You can send products to my P.O Box!

Hey brother how’s it going!!
Kris McCarthy Going good! How about you?
When i used the buttery wax on the Jeep the wax lasted about 3 weeks . Good honest review and thanks for the kind words appreciate it.
ouzo lou Thanks and you are welcome
Great video thanks brother. Looks great. I have a garage can't get my truck in it. I don't think a bike will fit because of projects. Black truck and heat from the sun I have a hard time trying to wax it. I definitely like the review of the product. Keep up the great work see you in the next video thanks again
Scott Pearson TOOLS &MORE Thanks! Yep gotta keep wax on those black vehicles!
Really like your videos. Keep up the good work.
David Johns Thank You very much!
I definitely need me some of that vrt. Great review on the wax. I just pick some up. What was the bad news you heard about it? Just the one month of protection? Like #18
johnnypro Thank You! Some people said it only lasted 3 weeks. Others said the first time it got rained on its like the wax had to be scraped off. I did not experience that but I did experience when it got rained on there was tons off white wax that appeared out of nowhere. It does add depth and tons of Gloss. I am going to use it again for sure.
Johnnpro you would like the VRT . I think buttery wax is good wax to put on fast for a show .
Just bought some vrt can't wait to try it out.
Keeep up the good work brother
Thank you!
Man, you have to speak about that wall mounted vac you have!
Mickey Tesnear I w thought about making a video on it. Now I think I will!
I like Adams products. Extremely disappointed with this wax. It’s a waste of time and money. Meguiar’s has a hi tech yellow 26 wax that is cheaper and lasts 6 months.
RHLEE86 I too was disappointed. I wouldn’t say it’s a waste of money because the Gloss levels are amazing. But like you said longevity is terrible. I called Adam’s and they said they only recommend this wax for show cars or cars that are garages most of the time. I have seen the hi tech yellow wax but haven’t ever tried it.
FAB Automotive Detailing I was using the formula from 2012. I think they have updated it since. But I do recommend you try the hi tech 26 from Meguiars. It’s all around a great product.
I just ordered a bunch of Adams products during the Black Friday sale. Can’t wait to try them out.
RHLEE86 i used to use the hi tech yellow wax until I started using Griot’s Garage waxes. I agree it is a good wax.
@@ChevyLee86 Ugh
What percentage off did they have? I just ordered a ton of stuff from them last night.
Hey@@Joe_Friday what do you mean? I didn't mention anything about discounts
Comes off so easy!
Yes it does
i agree with you.. as much as i like keeping my car clean i dont want to do waxing every 3 weeks or so depending.. i like to do it at least 2 to 3 times a year... clay bar,polish,wax.. gots to enjoy life doing other things i like also lol.. well said ! it is nice and rewarding after you clean the car i think some people find that enjoyment doing it so i think thats why this adams was designed for that reason as they have stated that on their site
jdmasfuck When I was younger once o month or so would be fine but not now I would like to just do it once a year. 😂
What's the coolest temp you can apply the buttery wax?
Craig Schray It doesn’t say but I would have to say no less then 50 degrees to be safe.
Cool looking applicator pad !
Frederick Watkins They are great applicators.
Not much is been left behind that's why it only last a couple of weeks and easy to get off. Just thinking out loud
William Eaton Great point! That very well could be it!
Best of show lasts months ??? You have a review and time frame of this ?
BRIAN VELTRI With maintenance washes I can get 3 months with Best of Show. I misspoke when I said 3-6 months.
How's about doing a video, on some paint that's bad?
The Buttery Wax is meant for paint that has been corrected and ready for wax. The bottle even says to clay the paint and remove defects before waxing.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing Ohh ok.. I see where your coming from..
Great videos keep it coming thank you for your effort I was wondering if you have ever used any of the other big name polishes I’m looking to buy one and not sure what to get I value your opinions and was hoping you could help me out thank you very much
EJ Hann Thank You! I have all Griot’s Garage polishers. If you are just starting out polishing I recommend Griot’s Garage 6 inch random orbital. It’s great for beginners but has plenty of power. If you have used a polisher and are comfortable with them then I recommend Griot’s BOSS G15 long throw random orbital. I hear Adam’s Polishes polishers are good but I have not used them. I started out using Griot’s and that’s what I have stuck with. Hope this helps!
Do you do your windows too.
Marcus Cassius Yes I do wax my windows but not with this product!
FAB Automotive Detailing with which product
@@1974gladiateur I'd like to know which product he uses too.
Cool review
Dre Tucker Thank you!
Correct its not supposed to last longer than 2-4 weeks on a daily driver. The whole purpose is the ease of use and insane gloss! (why I love it)
Its a great "topper" product on a longer lasting paste wax or sealant.
Good review, would have been great with some nice shots of the result in the sunlight.
Oh and yes...it smells really nice as most Adams products!
Patrick Roos It does leave a lot of Gloss! I like how easy it is to use just wish it would last longer. Thanks yeah I ran out of daylight.
I just ordered a ton of Adam's products for my car. I thought about using the sealant, then this then the brilliant glaze. Do you like their glaze?
@@Joe_Friday
Their glaze is extremely good.
Adds lots of luster
@@MrRedex88 Luster... reminds me of a scene in Conan the Barbarian involving King Osric.
@@Joe_Friday
Lol
Yep
I’m sorry I meant to say da polishers
I'd be shocked if someone who drives the car got a month of protection from this product. A week, maybe, in real weather. Yes, it's very easy to work with and has an OK look, but its durability is laughable.
Felix F I agree! It’s more or less good for a quick Shine at a car show.
This looks good but I am like you that is to much waxing
It does add a lot of gloss but I’m not one to wax monthly!
Brian, first and foremost I’d like to say thank you as you’re one of the most honest reviewers out there and very thorough. I’m a huge fan of your channel! I just bought a 2018 G-Wagon and wanted to know your thoughts on ceramic coatings? Like you, I like my cars constantly clean and just wanted your thoughts on if the coating was worth it. Thanks in advance and keep up the great videos!
Thomas Mullen, Jr. Thank you very much! I honestly don’t know if it’s worth it. I have looked heavily into it and kind of have mixed feelings. A friend of mine just Ceramic Coated his car so I thought I would wait to see how well his looks after a year then decide if I want to do it. If I decide to do it I will probably use Adam’s ceramic coating kit and I will definitely make a video. I hope this helps because I have never dealt with a ceramic coating so I can only tell you what I have researched and read on reviews.
Thanks bud!!
There is absolutely no way in the world that best of show wax last 2 to 3 months. Absolutely no way in the world. Shure if you hardly ever drive the car and garage it every night. And wash it three times a week and then boost it with detailer or quick wax . But it’s on absolutely no way you do good to get six weeks out of it. More like four weeks. That’s just my opinion. Keep the great videos coming I appreciate them I know they’re hard workers and I appreciate them and enjoy them. So please don’t be offended that I had a different opinion
Richard Vacanti I appreciate your comment and your opinion. I have no problem with someone that has a different opinion then me. I do get 2 months out of it but yes when I wash the car I dry with Spray on Wax to make it last longer which is the purpose of Spray on Wax. Just like other pure Carnauba waxes 1-2 months is what’s expected.
FAB Automotive Detailing I really like waxing my car. I’m lucky I’m single sooo I have a lot more time free time probably than you.
Still can’t find a wax that has some durability but I want the shine And depth in the deep look like her new book can bring you. I have been using turtle wax seal and shine. You should give it a try. The durability and protection that this product gives is out of this world have you seen the torture tests for this product on RUclips wow. And I try different things to top it because it actually brings down the gloss in some instances not very much I know that sounds crazy but when somethings kind of heavy and thick it could do that. It’s only like .5 or1.0 Glass units honestly nothing the eye can see I top it with Turtle wax ice paste wax And it looks really really good and that paste wax is crazy hydrophobic. But I want a little bit of a deeper Joe(car) Shane something with a little more pop a little ducks and that cannot give it to me like her new but Karen. So I have been using Mcguires gold class car Carnauba. I just got it in the mail some Adams liquid ceramic wax.. why such a difference in price between the past and Liquid with the ceramic wax it’s like 40 or $50 more for the pace I think that’s ridiculous. I don’t think the paste is that much better
You definitely have more time then I do! 😂 I was one of the first channels to review the Seal N Shine and was absolutely blown away by it. I have the Ceramic Paste and Ceramic Liquid. I love the Paste but haven’t tried the liquid form yet. I also can’t imagine much of a difference. The only thing I can think of is the paste wax will give you more applications. I have used it one time on a 2017 dodge journey and it doesn’t even look like I touched the can. A little goes a long way. But I did buy the ceramic paste wax before they came out with the liquid version otherwise I would’ve bought the liquid version at the time.
FAB Automotive Detailing yes I was thinking the same thing you get more applications out of the paste wax. And it said that you get 35% ceramic in the paste and 30 in the liquid but I’m not paying $40-$50 more for 5%. And as far as seal and shrine goes I just found out about two weeks ago that the eagle 1 Wipe and shine is very very close to what Seal and Shine is . But it says on the back of the directions on the eagle one that you can apply wipe and shine in the direct sun. Which is a big advantage for me. I have yet to clean out my garage. As soon as I do I will have a place to go and do all my detailing work in the shade. That should be done by the end of July at the latest sick of waiting till 730 8 o’clock till it starts to cool . For moving my car under a tree. For the shade.
Yeah Apex Detail (Brian) did a great video on the Eagle 1!
