Keep it clean and tap the plate to make sure the powder is accessible to the cap. No drilling on my part. It's an Enfield. I prefer it to the Springfield. Only this past year did I start to have any misfires (after 10 years in the hobby).
Oh wow these are fantastic. As a reenactor myself I ahve been wondering how to get good recordings. How do you hide your camera? Are you using a gopro?
I have a special magnet piece that hangs like a necklace under my shirt. I attach the gopro to that and button my jacket around it so it's nearly invisible to spectators. But no hiding it from other reenactors :)
valiant effort
Thanks! ;)
Are yall firing something similar to blanks or or are yall using real ammunition such as rubber substitutes
Its a good video either way
Blanks. Just gunpowder
if they used rubber bullets theyd be real casualties

Just wondering, how do you keep your musket firing so well, like did you drill your cone, people suggest that to avoid misfires

@@bucciproductionsME Well I guess I will have to look into investing into something similiar. I do eras ranging from Rev to WW2.
I had thought about doing F & I. But I'd love to do WW2 for a bit someday. But one expensive hobby at a time for me. ;)@@specialed1049
@@bucciproductionsME Oh you don't have to tell me twice haha. thankfully my WW2 kit is red army and its fairly easy to get it and kinda cheap.
Red Army does seem the simplest...and it was when you have to outfit millions.@@specialed1049
