That's great news indeed. I think my children wouldn't want to wander about the whole Colosseum inner parts anyway without complaining in the first five minutes 😂. This option is exactly what I was looking for plus having the opportunity to visit Palatine Hill and the Forum. Once again, thanks so much for your videos, Elyssa. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Yes, I think this ticket is really a game-changer because a lot of people have reasons for not wanting to spend ages tramping through the monument. Thanks for watching and for commenting! I hope you enjoy your visit!
Oh, I'm the one to say thanks for all those precious videos about Rome. But how can under-18s grab their tickets to enter Stern gate? Do we need to go to the ticket office at Largo Salaria Vecchia or only show the vouchers at the entrance? Tnx again 👍🏻
@@felipeantoniazzi299 Thank you! I THINK that for under-18s for the ticket in this video (I've answered others in this comments section about this very topic!), you can try going to the ticket office in front of the Colosseum and letting them know you have tickets for the Stern gate entrance. I'd like to think they would not make you wait in that long line for the kids' tickets!
@@Romewise Hi, Elyssa! That's me again. I've questioned the Parco del Colosseo team about the right procedure for the ones like me who bought tickets for the Arena 24h with children and that's their reply: "We would like to inform you that those between the ages of 0 and 17 are entitled to a ticket free of charge, which can be collected at the ticket office located in Largo della Salara Vecchia or the one located inside the Colosseum. In your case we request you to collect the tickets at the ticket office located inside the Colosseum. It will be required to present a valid identity document. No photocopies will be accepted. At the entrance there will be security checks, after which you will find the dedicated ticket counters. Kind regards, Helpdesk Team" So, that's it. I think it's a valuable information as far as this new attraction in Colosseum is concerned. 👍🏻
Thank you so much for this video. We bought tickets on the new site and everything was fine. It was really great for me to see the Colosseum from inside. Thank you.❤
Just to add something we noticed when we were there a week or so ago, and this entrance was open. We noticed no one actually checking the colour of your sticker, or people had lost there sticker, and being let to go up to tier 2, and there were lots of green stickers that had fallen off people just on the floor, (eg my wife lost her full experience sticker almost on entrance) so it would have been very easy for anyone who used this new 24hr experience entrance to just just turn left as they exited the archway, and gone up to the next tier and the rest of the monument. Not saying that you should. But saying that you probably could. Now since we were there the checking of what ticket type you had may have got more strict . But it wasn’t when we we were there. Although we did have the full experience arena floor ticket. But no one asked to see it again once we came out of the arena floor.
I love your channel! I’m going to Rome soon and have taken so many tops from your videos! I have this arena ticket also 🙂 Thank you so much for your engaging and valuable videos!
The next time I'm in Rome, I'm going to follow your video about free things to do around the Colloseum. Like seeing Marcus Aurelius' statue, seeing Severus' arch at the back of Capitoline Hill, seeing where St Peter and St Paul were held captive before their martyr deaths, seeing Basillica of Constantine at the exit, seeing Nero's underground palace, seeing Trajan's column, seeing Ceasar's and Octavian's statues, etc.
I've actually have already seen inside the Colloseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. I wish I knew more about ancient Roman history back then. I would've appreciated it more. For example, I remember taking a break and sitting down where Nero's statue was but I didn't know this at the time.
Thanks for making these many informative videos. These ticket definitely help a lot in planning. Will I be able to cover all the 7 Super Sites using the 24H ONLY ARENA ticket. Would you recommend using this ticket to view the super sites or get a dedicated SUPER FORUM PASS for the super sites.
Thanks for watching. Every single entrance to the Roman Forum / Palatine Hill, whether including the SUPER SITES or not, works exactly the same way: Once you enter the park, you may stay inside as long as you want until closing. But you may NOT RE-ENTER the park on the same ticket. Please be aware that the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill are part of ONE park so don't visit the Roman Forum thinking you can leave the park, come back and visit the Palatine Hill. It's ONE park with no re-entry. Also take note of closing hours as they get shorter as the days get shorter and then get longer in spring and summer. Also, you should make a plan and decide what you want to see. Not all SUPER sites are all open on the same days. Also there are now more than 7 SUPER sites. This video will help with more details: ruclips.net/video/zfHjFPua7W0/видео.html
I hope that I’d feel like a gladiator who won his match! LoL. Just a bit of humor. Thanks for another fabulous video! It would be remarkable to experience the arena floor.
I think this is a fantastic option for a lot of people like you who have seen the Colosseum, but just want to pop in again. And also for people like you have not been on the arena floor. I hope you enjoy it!
I bought this ticket for 4pm because there were no earlier available time slots left. Could I visit the Super sites earlier in the day, and then just finish off with the Colloseum @4?
Yes, absolutely - you can visit the Roman Forum / Palatine Hill and the SUPER sites up to 24 hours before or after your Colosseum entry time. It's a one-time visit with no re-entry.
Hi! Thank you for making this video, It was very helpful. I tried getting a full experience ticket but sadly they were sold out since minute one on the day I wanted. So now I'm considering getting both the 24H arena ticket AND general 24h, but I wanted to ask you if I do this, would I have to leave the arena site and go inside the regular entrance for the rest of the areas? Thank you!
I'm glad you found the video helpful. Yes, the Full Experience tickets are in high demand so you have to keep checking back if you really want them. If you purchase the standard entry ticket, I assure you, you will see a lot, including the arena floor. You just don't actually stand on the arena floor. But if you ALSO purchase the Arena 24h ticket, then yes, you will have to leave the monument because the standard ticket gets you in through the Valadier gate only, while the Arena 24h ticket gets you in through the Stern gate only. You could ASK them at the Stern gate if you could just stay inside and continue your visit, but I am not sure they will allow this. Have a great visit!
Thank you! Love your videos and have been binge watching them since we are visiting Italy soon. We got this ticket for 18€ “COLOSSEO-FORO ROMANO PALATINO 24H”. Do you know which entrance we are supposed to go to- is it the stern one?🤔 On the ticket it just asks to show up at the colosseum entrance
Thanks so much for watching! The Stern gate is currently strictly used for the Arena 24h ticket. With your ticket, you will go in via the Valadier entrance on the opposite side of the Stern gate. It's the more crowded entrance There are only 2 entrances, so you won't have trouble finding it! Have a great time!
The Attico is a Full Experience ticket. If you are asking if you can upgrade to a Full Experience ticket from a standard entry ticket, the answer is no. You can always TRY to purchase same-day Full Experience tickets (1. Arena Floor 2. Underground + Arena Floor 3. Attico) but because these are in such high demand, it's unlikely you will find same-day availability for them.
Love your information video ❤ By any chance do you know if we can cancel a ticket ? Becasue i bought tickets but would like to get different one instead 😅🤔
Thanks so much! If you purchase a ticket directly through the Parco Colosseo, it's not possible to cancel it. If you purchase a ticket through a third-party vendor, then you should ask them about their refund/exchange policies.
Thanks so much for the great video, Elyssa. Do you know how to order the free tickets for children and where do we pick them up once we arrive at Colosseum? Any ideas if the line to pick up free tickets for children is very long? I am debating if I should just buy the children tickets to avoid having to wait in line to pick up.
Thank you! For children's tickets, if you purchase standard Colosseum entry tickets, you don't book them on the site. You just book your own. Then when you go to the Colosseum, go inside the monument with your tickets + your kids, and just after security but prior to going through the entry turnstiles, you will find a ticket booth there. That's where you can pick up your kids' tickets. If you are booking a FULL Experience ticket, then you can and must book a free ticket for your kids. It's one of the options when booking (free), and you just select that. Then you'll need to provide their names. Those tickets will arrive, like your adult tickets, in an email as a PDF with QR code.
Hi thanks for this video very helpful. I'm not sure whether to buy the 24H arena ticket or general 24h - COLOSSEUM, ROMAN FORUM, PALATINE ticket. Are the views from the arena better than the other levels? Is the arena generally less crowded? I'll be traveling with 2 seniors as well so like that the arena won't be too strenuous but in terms of photo ops not sure if the arena is better
Thanks for watching. These tickets are quite different from each other. These are the similarities: Both tickets include a single-access entry to the Roman Forum Palatine Hill Both tickets allow you to visit the inside of the Colosseum Both tickets allow you to look down into the underground These are the differences: The standard entry ticket gets you into the main levels of the Colosseum (1st and 2nd tiers), the inner rings, the permanent exhibit, and any temporary exhibit that might be on. No arena access. The Arena 24h ticket gets you into the arena only, with no access to the above. The standard entry ticket gets you access to the Roman Forum / Palatine Hill but not the SUPER sites. The Arena 24h ticket gets you into this park and ALSO the SUPER sites. For me, both allow great photo ops from inside. You may want the Arena 24h ticket as it's easier and shorter and there is less walking around. Also, I am a big fan of the Roman Forum / Palatine Hill and the SUPER sites, so that may make a difference to you.
I’ve been tracking ticket availability since we will need to visit on a Sunday, and they are scarce. We can try purchasing at the ticket window, but do they typically hold an ample supply? If so, how much lead time should be allow for standing in line to hopefully, get an early morning slot? Assume lines might be shorter in the early morning. Many thanks!
There are always plenty of tickets, including same-day tickets, for standard entry. Tickets for the visit shown in this specific video are also fairly available. But if you're looking for these special entry tickets like any of the Full Experience tickets, you just have to be patient and keep trying. I would NOT count on finding same-day availability as these tickets are highly sought after and sell out in advance.
Great video! I like to check that the different between this and the "FULL EXPERIENCE TICKET WITH ENTRY TO THE ARENA OF THE COLOSSEUM" which costs €24, includes seeing other parts of the Colosseum, the entrance is at the Sperone Valadier and the duration is 2 days? I just want to confirm as this is my first visit. Grazie!
Yes, the difference is only in the fact that with the FULL Experience Arena floor ticket, you can visit other parts of the Colosseum including the main 2 levels, the inner rings on those levels, and the permanent and temporary exhibits. Both tickets allow you to visit the Roman Forum / Palatine Hill within 24 hours of your Colosseum entry time on either side of it. If this is your first time, I suggest the Full Experience Arena ticket so you can just see a bit more.
If you are purchasing a standard Colosseum ticket, you only book online for the adults and then when you arrive at the Colosseum, just go inside and collect your kids' physical tickets there. You can see that in this video: ruclips.net/video/XHgzr9YkqEI/видео.html If you are purchasing any other type of Colosseum ticket online, including the one featured in this video or a night tour or a FULL experience ticket, then you choose the Free option, expand it out so you can see where to book kids under 18. Select as many of those as you need and then fill in their info when prompted to do so. When you arrive for your visit, you will already have their tickets as you will have received them, along with yours, in an email that has a QR code.
Well, everything you want to see is worth it. It just depends on how much time and energy you have. option 1 - just visit the attico and main levels, you will see a lot, including the arena from above. option 2 - when you come down from the attico, head to the customer service desk inside the colosseum and ask if they have any availability for the arena. If they do, they will give you a green sticker that gives you access to arena, at no additional charge (since you already paid for a FULL experience ticket.) There is no guarantee but you could ask. option 3 - get both tickets (attico and arena, either FULL experience arena or this 24h ticket as described in this video) so you can be sure to visit also the arena. As a bonus, this will allow you entrance to the Roman Forum /Palatine Hill and all the SUPER sites TWICE.
Sorry to post here, but we booked a European trip to Rome & Prague rather late and this happens to be your most recent post. If we b-line directly to the Sistine Chapel at 8:00 am-ish, after spending 25-30 mins in there, can we get back to the stuff we skipped at the beginning? Or, will we only need able to hit the final corridor before being forced to exit? Said another way, Instead of exiting, can we just start anew with the crowds having already gone through security. Thanks Cheers former prof. M
No problem, you are welcome to post questions wherever you like. In answer to your question, here is the video where I show you exactly what to do: ruclips.net/video/5ac7cvBH0iY/видео.html
I understand this ticket is strictly the arena floor, in and out. What I'm not 100% clear on, is what the Full experience Arena floor ticket allows you to explore additionally in the Colosseum. I'm not referring to the Super sites/Forum, just the Colosseum. Can you explore around the rings of the first few levels as well? Are the first few rings walkable and open for all of the Full experience folks? Then they have access to the attic/arena/underground separately? Taking my wife for her 40th Birthday this November. Just trying get get things right, she loves pictures so I was thinking the attic or arena floor would be best. Sounds like it may be possible to book the attic and hope for a sticker to the arena might be a way to go. Thank you for your excellent content. You do a very good job including very relevant and helpful information.
Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad you enjoy my content! The Full Experience tickets such as the Full Experience Arena floor, all include access to the main 2 levels of the Colosseum, both inside the rings and along the interior of the Colosseum, the permanent exhibit in the Colosseum, any temporary exhibit in the Colosseum, and the Roman Forum / Palatine Hill and all the SUPER sites. The arena floor ticket does NOT include the underground. Only the Underground ticket includes the underground (plus the arena). The Full Experience Arena floor ticket is fairly easy to come by while the Underground, Attico, and night visits are very difficult to get, due to astronomical demand and limited supply. I would suggest the attico if you can get it but if not, the Arena floor visit is definitely excellent and you will see most of the Colosseum.
Hello - thank you for all the tips. Question - I was waiting for September calendar to open and , Sunday Sept 1st not available online? We have limited time in Rome and that was the only day we can visit. Advise?
Sunday September 1 is the free Sunday. It’s impossible to book for this day. You’ll have to show up and wait in line although I usually advise not visiting the colosseum on the free Sunday because of the lines and crowds.
Entry for kids under 18 is completely free. When you book a guided tour on the Colosseum website, the cost is 8€ per person for everyone. So, for example, if you book a standard guided tour of the Colosseum for 2 adults and one child under 18, you'll pay 2 regular priced entry tickets, 1 free ticket, and 3x8€ for the tour.
@@abipopoola2390 If you are booking a guided tour, there is an option to book a free ticket. You have to click that and expand it and you'll see that one of the conditions is for kids under 18. If you are purchasing a standard entry ticket to the Colosseum, without a guided tour, then you cannot book a child's ticket. You book your adult tickets, and when you get to the Colosseum, go inside the monument and head straight to the ticket office there to pick up your free tickets. This internal ticket office is before the turnstiles to actually enter the monument. The FULL Experience tickets, on the other had, require that you book your kids' tickets and provide their names. They are still free but the book procedure is slightly different.
Hello Ellis! I watched your latest videos about Rome and they are really very impressive! My wife and I plan to visit the "Eternal City" at the end of August this year /for the 2nd time/. Our organization is as planned, but I cannot access the official websites of the Pantheon and Galleria Borghese to buy online tickets. They just take a long time to load and finally it says that they cannot be accessed at this time. Do you have any info and if not, can you suggest another option? Also, is it possible to buy tickets for a few days from the box office or just for the day. Thanks in advance and all the best!!!
Thanks so much for your kind comments. Sorry you are having trouble accessing the official sites of the Pantheon and Galleria Borghese. Here they are in case you might possibly have different links: portale.museiitaliani.it/b2c/buyTicketless/33f77159-0acd-40c4-8524-701f33aae108 galleriaborghese.beniculturali.it/en/ Just keep trying, because these sites are working fine for me. If you go in person, you can only purchase same-day tickets.
We are traveling to Rome in the end of August for 3 days, trying to book ticket in advance for Colosseum full experience but it shown not available online.
The Colosseum releases tickets 30 days in advance. So if you want to buy tickets directly from the Colosseum website, you should start looking 30 days ahead of when you want to visit. You'll easily find standard entry tickets even closer to your date. The FULL Experience tickets are harder to come by, due to the limited supply and huge demand, so if you want one of those, you'll need to have patience, luck, and good timing. And keep trying.
Most of the tickets are released 30 days out. But this particular 24hr Arena is very much available at least 3 wks ahead but I'll start doing trial runs now incase that changes
Another great video Elyssa. When we went to the arena floor I just had to be Gladiator so when I stood with arms out stretched shouting "are you not entertained" and my wife just left me by myself and walked off. A great experience and something everyone should do, so everyone follow Elyssa's tip and go.
Ha ha, I can picture this!! Glad you got to enjoy the arena floor. I think it's an amazing experience. And now, it's easier than ever before to book a visit here!
I like the idea of this ticket since we have already seen the Coliseum and really just want to see inside again and spend most of our time in the Forum and Palatine Hill and see the Suoer Sights. However, we would like to be able to reenter, so we can take a break and go back that same day.... Is there a ticket where you can re-enter the Forum?
Yes, this is really a great ticket precisely for those who don't really need or want to spend a lot of time and energy plodding around this giant monument. Sorry but the entrance to the Roman Forum / Palatine Hill is single-use. There is no re-entry. If you want to visit this park more than once, you can purchase a Roman Forum SUPER pass (18€), which is another single-use ticket that gives you access to the Roman Forum / Palatine Hill and all the SUPER sites, and does not include the Colosseum at all.
Thank you! Here is the link for the app on the Apple store: apps.apple.com/us/app/y-co/id1549653486 And here is the link on Google play: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.parcocolosseo.yandco&pli=1
Here'w how it works for kids' tickets: For Standard entry tickets to the Colosseum, you just book the adults' tickets. Once past security inside the Colosseum, and before you pass through the bar-code reader that validates your ticket, stop at the Customer Service counter and collect your kids' free tickets. For all other ticket types, underground, attico, arena24h (featured in this video), arena, and night visits, you MUST book your kids' tickets and provide their names. There are options for free tickets during the booking process for these types of tickets and you can and must book them then. Your ticket confirmation that arrives in your email with QR codes will include your kids' tickets.
If i bought a guided tour ticket in a different language, say Italian or Spanish thar i don't speak, how can i make it work? Can i listen to my own downloaded narration or just look around?
You could use an audio guide, such as the free one in the Colosseum's own app, with earbuds, as long as no sound emanates that could interfere with the tour guide speaking. Or you could study up on it beforehand, and simply enjoy looking around while the guide speaks.
I take it "within 24 hours" means we could visit the Forum either before or after the Colosseum? Neither the website nor my reservation email is 100% clear on how Forum access works. In fact, regarding Forum entrance the ticket says "time table visible within the booking email" while the email just says see attached ticket for details of visit, lol! 🤷
Yes you are correct. Every Colosseum ticket (with the exception of the night tour, which are not currently available in any case) comes with a one-time access to the Roman Forum / Palatine Hill (one park). You may enter this park up to 24 hours on EITHER side of your Colosseum entry time. So, for example, if you have a Colosseum entry time of 2pm on Tuesday, then you may use your single-entry to the Roman Forum / Palatine Hill anytime from 2:01pm Monday (until closing that day), anytime Tuesday from 9am until your Colosseum visit, even Tuesday AFTER your Colosseum visit (up to closing time, which changes depending on time of year), up to 1:59pm on Wednesday. You must enter within 24 hours of your Colosseum time, but once you enter, you can stay in the park as long as you like. So if according to the above example, you went on say, Wednesday morning at 11am, you could stay in the Forum / Palatine until closing time. The important thing is to ENTER the park within 24 hours of your Colosseum ticket.
@@frankfariello2347 My pleasure! Yes, you definitely can visit the Forum / Palatine earlier in the day. I suggest going first thing in the morning, with a plan in mind to see as much of the park and as many of the sites and SUPER sites as you want to see because once you exit, you can't go back in with the same ticket. Then give yourself a little time for a break in between that visit the the Colosseum visit. Enjoy!
Thank you so much. Your videos are fantastic! I’ve just booked the 24H Only Arena tickets. I have one question - after exiting the Stern gate, how would I enter the Forum / Palatine Hill from there?
Thanks for watching! Glad you found it helpful! The Roman Forum / Palatine Hill have many entrances. The two closes to the Stern gate are on the Via Sacra at the Arch of Titus (where you will likely find long lines) and on via di San Gregorio (where you may find shorter lines depending on the time of day.) There are many more entrances and I will have a dedicated video out about this very soon!
The city of Rome should redo some of the buildings in the Roman Forum. What is the city of Rome doing with the proceeds that they get from tourists who visit this attraction? For example, Greece redid the Stoa of Attalos and it looks magnificent and tourists can really appreciate what it looks like in antiquity, albeit with modern cement.
This is an excellent question but it's complicated. There are many different entities that manage sites around Rome. For example, the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill are managed by the state of Italy, while the Fori Imperiali are managed by the City of Rome. There are many other entities involved and factors at play. At the moment, much of Rome is under renovation due to the upcoming Catholic Jubilee in 2025. We should see quite a lot of changes/improvements by the end of this year!
@@Romewise OK. Thanks for the info. The state of Italy should redo the Pantheon that's near the Arch of Constantine as you enter the Roman Forum. I can't remember the name of that Pantheon but it has a female name.
@@lilpenny1982 Hmmm, I'm not sure which monument you are referring to. There is a round temple inside the Roman Forum called the Temple to Romulus (named not for Rome's legendary first king but rather for the son of Emperor Maxentius who died at a young age and was deified.) There is another monument dedicated to a woman, the Temple of Faustina. Perhaps you are referring to the Temple to Vesta, for which the Vestal Virgins were named? If so, they have indeed restored much of it in recent years.
@@Romewise I was referring to the Pantheon when you enter the Roman Forum from via Sacra. There use to be a huge Pantheon here. Maybe it was called the Temple of Venus.
@@lilpenny1982 Well, just to the right as you enter the Roman Forum from the via Sacra there is the Temple of Venus and Roma. That, too, has recently been restored.

@@Romewise Hi, Elyssa! That's me again. I've questioned the Parco del Colosseo team about the right procedure for the ones like me who bought tickets for the Arena 24h with children and that's their reply:

So glad to hear! Thanks for watching!

I hope that I’d feel like a gladiator who won his match! LoL. Just a bit of humor. Thanks for another fabulous video! It would be remarkable to experience the arena floor.
Oh yes, that would be the best way to feel like a gladiator, I think! Thanks a lot, Ralph!
Thank you i watched all your colesseum video really helpful❤
Glad it was helpful!
Will definitely use this in March next year when I'm in rome for the rugby
Great! Thanks for letting me know you find my content useful!
Very informative video! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Ideal ticket for me, I’ve been inside the Colosseum a few times, but never onto the floor, great option.
Do you know which entrance we are supposed to go to- is it the stern one?🤔
On the ticket it just asks to show up at the colosseum entrance
Thanks so much for watching! The Stern gate is currently strictly used for the Arena 24h ticket. With your ticket, you will go in via the Valadier entrance on the opposite side of the Stern gate. It's the more crowded entrance There are only 2 entrances, so you won't have trouble finding it! Have a great time!
If you purchase the full experience tickets is there a way to purchase the Attic ticket say on site?
Super helpful, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Great video. See you in 2 weeks!
Have fun!
These are the similarities:
Both tickets include a single-access entry to the Roman Forum Palatine Hill
Both tickets allow you to visit the inside of the Colosseum
Both tickets allow you to look down into the underground
These are the differences:
The standard entry ticket gets you into the main levels of the Colosseum (1st and 2nd tiers), the inner rings, the permanent exhibit, and any temporary exhibit that might be on.
@@Romewise Yes, I plan to buy the full experience ticket, thanks for the advice!
Thanks for sharing new web, looks like working fine however i have problems adding a kid to the ticket?
If you are purchasing a standard Colosseum ticket, you only book online for the adults and then when you arrive at the Colosseum, just go inside and collect your kids' physical tickets there. You can see that in this video:
ruclips.net/video/XHgzr9YkqEI/видео.html
If you are purchasing any other type of Colosseum ticket online, including the one featured in this video or a night tour or a FULL experience ticket, then you choose the Free option, expand it out so you can see where to book kids under 18. Select as many of those as you need and then fill in their info when prompted to do so.
When you arrive for your visit, you will already have their tickets as you will have received them, along with yours, in an email that has a QR code.
I was able to snag a few tickets for the attic. We also wanted to see the arena area. Is it worth paying to see or stick with the attic tickets?
Thanks
Cheers

No problem, you are welcome to post questions wherever you like.
In answer to your question, here is the video where I show you exactly what to do:
ruclips.net/video/5ac7cvBH0iY/видео.html
Please are guided tours purchase directly from website also free for kids?
Or just the individual non tour tickets?
Entry for kids under 18 is completely free.
When you book a guided tour on the Colosseum website, the cost is 8€ per person for everyone.
So, for example, if you book a standard guided tour of the Colosseum for 2 adults and one child under 18, you'll pay 2 regular priced entry tickets, 1 free ticket, and 3x8€ for the tour.
So when I'm on the ticket page, I only see adult tickets. No where does it say kids tickets
I just need 1 adult and 1 child so what do I select?
@@abipopoola2390 It depends on exactly what you are trying to book.
This is awesome!
Here they are in case you might possibly have different links:
portale.museiitaliani.it/b2c/buyTicketless/33f77159-0acd-40c4-8524-701f33aae108
galleriaborghese.beniculturali.it/en/
Just keep trying, because these sites are working fine for me.
How far in advance does the ticket window open we are traveling to Rome End of Sept for 2 weeks and want to plan ahead
Most of the tickets are released 30 days out. But this particular 24hr Arena is very much available at least 3 wks ahead but I'll start doing trial runs now incase that changes
Yes, this is correct - all Colosseum tickets are available up to 30 days in advance.
@@Romewise thank you. Your videos have helped us plan so much!
My wife would've done the same - just ignore me and walk away like we didn't know each other. 😄
@@deanhatescoffee I think you are not alone! :D
Thank you for the information... and for your great content! ❤
@@no-secret-chart Thank you!

And here is the link on Google play:

How long does the tour of the Colosseum last?
As I talk about in the video, this is not a tour but a timed visit. As I mention in the video, you are allowed 20 minutes on the arena floor.
No option for children ticket on website. Do they need ticket ? Will be issued on entrance gate ? 😊
Here'w how it works for kids' tickets:
For Standard entry tickets to the Colosseum, you just book the adults' tickets.
When in Rome, do as Elyssa suggests!
Thank you as always!! Love your kind comments
Thank for your response to all my questions.
@@abipopoola2390 My pleasure. Have a great trip!
@@Romewise Thanks so much! We have 6 pm tickets and want to visit the Forum/Palatine Hill earlier that day, so that’s perfect. 🙏
The two closes to the Stern gate are on the Via Sacra at the Arch of Titus (where you will likely find long lines) and on via di San Gregorio (where you may find shorter lines depending on the time of day.)
There are many more entrances and I will have a dedicated video out about this very soon!
lol “the park” 😂
Well it's actually what they call it :) "Parco Colosseo"
Great.
