@@Hoopsick So that you understand it too: "Ehre Alla" is a running gag by a famous German RUclipsr called HandOfBlood. It means something like "honor dude". He also starred in the music video. He is part of the dance choreo at the end of the video. (The one with the affro) He has had a lot to do with the band before and has also played the leading role in the music video for MC Thunder. 😉

Not EVERYTHING they make is comical but a large portion is. They got a little more serious and mainstream with the last two albums(not saying they're not good because they're also fantastic albums) but this is definitely a return to their 2010-2013 form. I LOVE it.
If it says anything at all I have been into metal for decades now and didnt find them till Hypa Hypa...went back to find a bad song and I simply couldnt.
Considering their original vocalist went on to found a very edgy and serious metal band, it might have been his work to, and i dont necesseraly mean that negatively, suppress the insane amount of glorious bullshit the boys are capable of

At minute 6:09 you can see the two biggest youtubers of this crew. The one with the afro on the left is HandofBlood and has nearly 2 million followers on youtube. He has been a friend of the band for years (He already made videos with Eskimo Callboy in 2015 when HandofBlood had a lot fewer followers). The one on the right is Kalle as another comment mentions. He has 200k followers.

To me the best moment in a reaction to this is, after the "okay guys who put me up to this" and the disbelieve during the first metal part, when the reactors have landed and fully grasped what this is.
You can see that moment in their faces and it´s the best! It makes me so happy
I've been listening to them since they started to make music. They published their first album in 2012 and they always had this 90s sound mixed with metalcore which is what i always loved about them... the co-productions with german youtubers (starting with "MC Thunder") lift the crazyness up to a whole new level, which is great due to more people are going to listen to them. And react of course. I like to see them grow, doing what they love and earn the fanbase they always deserved.
Damn, it feels so great to finally discover the actual song that Tenacious D's Tribute was dedicated to...
since you love the drummer so much - he also won the german edition of bacholerette! :D

If you like german metal than try out the band „Annisokay“. They’re singing in English and play a really good mix of hard harsh metal sounds and melodics. Outstanding cleans and really hard growls (two singers). A few good tracks are Coma Blue, Good Storys, Unaware, Naked City, See of Trees and one of their Michael Jackson covers „Scream“. Great reaction as always :D

The first two albums were mainly like this. Through time they became more and more radio-friendly metal (like BMTH) and only featured very few songs in this style on their records. Some months ago they changed the main vocalist and went back to their roots.

About 10 years ago, they took a comedic and over-the-top approach to the already over-the-top Attack Attack type Scenecore. At some point, they released a song featuring one of germany's most famous rappers. Since then, they're pretty much Parkway Drive level in Germany, from a touring/venue perspective. They're kind of the reason why Germay single-handedly kept the Scenecore vibes alive. After being more mellow on their last album and after changing out the vocalist, they're now back to their old approach - and people all around the world love it, apparently.
I'm so glad that people get Eskimo Callboys genius and insanity, finally!

A German band of a completely different genre you probably -very unfortunately- haven‘t heard yet is „Lord of the Lost“ from Hamburg / Germany. Their singer Chris Harms is also changing between beautiful clear, dark singing and grunts&growls. They are great musicians and released beside their regular albums three acoustic „Swan Songs“ longplayer with a classic ensemble.
My suggestion to get into their music is, apart from „Loreley“ their most popular video, „Under the sun“:
