I have been looking forward to this series. I have made many trips to the UK for golf, and maintain a membership at Crail. Golf in Scotland is truly special.
Hey Trottie - I REALLY enjoyed learning about Prestwick. In May I went to St. Andrews on a total budget trip (under $1,000 including everything) to see if I could get on The Old Course. I was lucky and made it on the first try (it was a bit painful waiting for hours in 7*C weather). I also played the two Fairmont St Andrews courses (brilliant!) and the Jubilee course. Now I feel like I need to go back and play Prestwick, along with The New Course, and probably the Jubilee again. I'm very much looking forward to seeing the next episodes! Also really enjoyed your Bandon Dunes videos.
@@leighsimmonds2995 A couple people mentioned it as a great place to play. If I had more time on that trip I'd have looked at The Duke's and New Course. Thanks for the tip!
This course is just....weird those gigantiv greens...no trees (like pretty much all british courses)...combinations of tees and holes..but everyone would love to play here at least once...if possible with p770 or p790 irons, the BEST LOOKING clubs gor mass ever made IMO...clean look, even tho i don't owe them just to see that golf club is amazing...other brands pretty much copied them but none of them came close...i hope one day i am lucky enough to get my hands on them 👍👍💪
Only links golf is like that. As you move inland you find parkland golf course which have plenty of trees. The one local to me is literally cut out of a huge forest
@@shaggy4344 yes also the clubs you would want to use on links course is different because of "hard" base...not native english speaker but i think you know what i have in mind...yes i 've noticed, but 3 british youtubers playing mostly thise courses so i thought its like that all over Britain..

I need a Taylormade sponsorship. I’m way better than the Fore Play guy’s! lol. I may not have my own podcast or RUclips channel, but I’m super nice and need some brand new golf club’s…haha
This course..it is just different, its not beautiful its so much different of any other..large greens..everything..even tho not the best possible one or most beautiful but the most special course
Don’t need to keep the branding on every second , it’s not like someone starts the video 7 minutes in and doesn’t see Taylormade… Why have a golf video about seeing how low you can go on the course and you start the golf halfway into the video? Let’s see more golf
@Taylormade… you guys need to keep Trotti around and keep him happy, he makes these videos so much more worth it to watch! He’s the man!
Out standing trottie we love ya.All the very best 👍🏻🏴👍🏻🏴👍🏻🏴
Thanks fella ❤

This is my dream trip. My grandfather was from Scotland. That and the history of golf make it my dream trip

If you do go back, make sure you play the Duke's course, it may not be a links course, but it's absolutely fantastic!

Notice Chris crosshanded putting style. What are the benefits from this, and is it common? Haven't seen a crosshanded putting style before.

Scotty Scotland 🏌♂️🙂👍
Imagine how pissed you would be if you lost a ball that someone made by hand!?? They had to be expensive and timely to make.
The shaking camera was giving me motion sickness
wonder how many times he's told the ex wife joke

Was interested until I saw those tedious horrible golfers from Foreplay golf were involved.
pity no Scottish can play our own courses as they have sold out to tourists.

over rated these golf course stuffy and over priced. Scottish people generally avoid them
