This is terrific. Very clear and helpful. I really like to do appliqué and have been thinking about purchasing a system like the scan and cut. I didn't know about the feature in Embrilliance to enlarge the applique fabric just a bit for the tack down stitch. I have been guessing and I am not always right. :-) I think you just cost me some money.
Hi Terri Just wondering since I am new to Embroidery I have been doing a lot of research. I saw you did videos on sew what pro and Embrilliance Essentials do you like one over the other? Does one do things that other doesn't? I know the cost is more for Embrilliance but is it easier to use to split designs? I also like how it will save a studio file as I have a cameo.
Sharon - If you are using Embrillance to create & save your cut files, you don't need Designer Plus. However, if you want to import & open your embroidery files in Silhouette Studio, you will need Designer Plus or Business Edition of Silhouette Studio
This seriously could not be easier! I can't believe I put off trying this for so long, thank you!!!

Besides Embrilliance, do I need to upgrade Silhouette software to Designer Plus? Thank you.
