I first heard about it in an ad pamphlet included in Galaxy 2, but I first played it on N3DS, a few months after I tried and failed to get into Xenoblade X(I couldn't even figure out that the D-Pad is used for attacks).
For me it's the opposite, I wish I could experience it for the first time with the upgraded graphics and orchestrated music. You got lucky if you played in on the Switch for the first time!
