  • In this video, you will learn how to do the reverse Tyler Twist for golfer's elbow. Golfer's elbow aka medial epicondylitis is pain on the inside of the elbow and if you look at the cover photo for this video, I'm pointing right to the area of pain.
The technique for this exercise is super important so be sure to pay attention to the form as I break it down into an easy-to-follow-along format to ensure that you're maximizing the benefits of this exercise!
In this video, I'm utilizing the Theraband FlexBar which you can find on Amazon here: amzn.to/3UXiMb4

Thank you for your comment. When I first learned this exercise, I watched a video but without different views, it took me forever to learn it! So, I thought I would try to simplify it with this video so thank you for your feedback!

Once your injury is almost healed is it beneficial to curl the hand back up rather than letting go completely and starting over? Like contract, relax, contract, relax? Thanks!

Thanks for your question! I understand what you're thinking and I wouldn't say it's necessarily wrong but I personally have never cued a patient to do this. The exercise targets the wrist flexors eccentrically and by adding the curl the hand back up, it changes the exercise from being purely eccentric which is what the research backed component of this exercise is. I hope that helps!
