Some advice. For each concept ask : why is it important to know about [concept]. Then go find a bunch of answers. Then ask how it affect/relate/influence/impact other [concept] or things in the topic. Your brain retains stuff that you care so you need to ask why is what you are learning is important or else you’ll forget. (Don’t say “to get good grades”, answer should be around what’s the purpose of the concept or why the concept matters) try to simplify the answers to your own understanding. imagine your little 10 year old brother asks you: why do I need to care about [conceptA]
This is actually really important not just for remembering but also because these questions come up a lot with concept-based subjects. So to do this by yourself first is extremely beneficial for retention and application.
update: some other ways you could do is imagine you are teaching your little brother of 10 years old. Ask yourself "why do I need to care about [concept]? Why does it matter?" These questions are essentially the same as "why it is important"
@@Shzy. just because you want good grades, it wont make you remember the concept. you need to understand why the concept is needed in the first place or whats its purpose, or why it matters and then your brain will care and remember. and then you need to see how it impacts other concepts. you cant look at things in isolation like the way it shown in this video cause all youll do it just remember but not understand
I know the purpose of this video is to get people on top of the class rankings. On the contrary, I want to emphasize that discovering and building a passion for something is more important than passing tests. So when your teacher talks about how they got a passion for chemistry, LISTEN.
Fun fact: Multiplying by 11 is easy For 2- digits numbers just add the 2 number together and put the sum in the middle Example 1: 72 x 11 7+2=9 792 Example 2: 84 x 11 8+4=12 carry the 10 over 8 -> 9 924 If people want, I'll do one for bigger numbers as well

@@theangryexplainer i saw it, so maybe how to self study in an efficient and organized manner because i get overwhelmed and procrastination occurs. ALL of them say break it into simpler tasks but no says how to do that.. : (
@@yukihana-ru1ig I have the same problem here! The reason for the overwhelming feeling is that once you break down a task you realise that it’s a lot more work than just the ‘one thing’ you had before. I procrastinated SO MUCH for revising physics but I eventually figured out a way to actually get myself to do something- 1: I ‘broke down’ physics into as many smaller tasks as I could- ones that only take 10ish mins to revise/ go over. For example- the waves topic in physics was broken down into: - results of the required practical - required practical method - one SINGULAR equation I needed to learn/ memorise Ect You should end up with a TON of mini topics that should only take a few minutes max to study. This is what breaking down a task is! You should be able to do multiple PARTS of one big task, rather than not being able to fully complete the task. It’s really about mindset! 2: Set a REASONABLE target. It does not need to be something like ‘I will study the whole of the physics course in this one day with no breaks’- that just doesn’t work. Instead try these two options: ->If you are a person that needs deadlines to work try ordering the ‘mini tasks’ in a way you think you need to revise them (least known goes first) and then set a number of mini tasks you will do per day/ per revision session. Physically seeing that you’ve made progress and completed a number of tasks helps so much with not giving up revision. ->If you abhor deadlines and work better over a period of time then set work to do over a period of time, like completing 30 mini tasks by my next physics lesson. It seems obvious but do what works for YOU! Not random people on the internet!! 3: ACCOUNTABILITY!!! I am one of those people that will simply forget to do something if someone else doesn’t remind me to. If you can’t hold yourself accountable- get someone who will! And no I don’t mean your friend who’ll occasionally check in with you over text but a parent, an aunt, a teacher, a sibling- someone who will ACTUALLY hold you accountable. A load of apps can do this as well! (Just don’t turn off notifs) And don’t just shrug off their reminders- get THEM to ask for proof if you know you procrastinate. Take accountability!!!! Just paying attention in class is a hugeeee help. That's actually why I don't really study and people get surprised to hear that I don't study whilst getting high scores on tests
What your saying is true means you must be a non high schooler or you must be having easy peasy exams,If youre gonna write one of the toughest exams then you should study as i am doing the same 💀.
@@Mactheinternetuser emm well , I m also in hight school but our teacher don't explain, he just says a few words about the listen then he just sit in his chair and let us write dozens of pages
I just want to put this out there but i usually ask my teachers whenever theres a few spare minutes in class "what made you got into teaching xyz subject?" and LISTEN to what they say, its usually very helpful they end up giving you advice on how they studied it without knowing, (also how i found out that all my math teachers used to once suck at math)
the most common problem i see is that people try their best to memorize first. its not about memorizing first, u need to first understand the specific concepts. once u can understand the concept itself, everything related to it becomes a lot easier and u can continue studying from there. well actually thats the second most common problem. the main problem is that most people dont listen attentively in class, and end up missing out on the lesson being taught. this causes them to miss out on even hearing about these concepts that they need to understand. another problem i can come up with off the top of my head is overthinking/cramming. when people cram, they rush and cant properly process the information that theyre studying abt. this causes them to overthink during exams, which can lead to failure or running out of time. most of the students who study right before the test usually dont get A+. P.S. lemme clear this up. its not just understanding the concepts. u also need to practice.

Thank you. I was staying up all night for my homework, and that's because i start doing it late, i'm super slow and unmotivated. Like i was too lazy for homework and that caused less sleep. Thank you again for helping and calling me ,,idiot"😁😆
The 4th tip is actually helpful. This first time I couldn't say 20 Elements' name fast. One day I was doing and somehow I was saying those 20 Elements continuously now I can able to say 20 Elements' name fast and accurately :)
My trick is to not take exams/tests/quizzes/assignments too seriously, otherwise you risk succumbing to anxiety and mania. Take your time now and then, give yourself a break. Throughout my life, I only ever got A+s (or more recently, A*s), because I give myself much-needed breaks ever so often.
I just started watching now, so let's see if i do those things. 1st. It's true, i do do it, but not intentionally. 2nd and 3rd. Are also true, you don't need to get distracted in class with all of those useless things that the students and teachers say and actually focus on learning and not being stupid. Also you need to think like all of the class are sheeps obeying the teacher and following blindly. Don't do it, you need to find the most efficient, easiest, and creative way for you to understand the subject. And finally Do the last part, actually understand the subject and write it in a way that will be the best for you and have an open mind and relax, don't fear and don't be stressed about it. Hope this helped or clear something if you needed 🙏
Being "That Guy" in my school, i can confirm fail in ALL of the points except for paying attention to what matters. Im lucky to be this gifted. But it also means i waste all my time mindlessly doomscrolling on reels - which i don't even enjoy afterwards.
As a person who has been doing these things subconsciously without even realising, I can relate to what is told here. I usually study just ahead of exams and still top my class. I barely even study for about 30 minutes but still remember everything.
my tip: make a story with the terms in it, it is useful when there are terms with definition, every term you need to remember, think of a word that is close in rhyme or spelling, as for the definition, think of a scenario that the term is doing that is close to it.

Thank you. I was staying up all night for my homework, and that's because i start doing it late, i'm super slow and unmotivated. Like i was too lazy for homework and that caused less sleep. Thank you again for helping and calling me ,,idiot"😁😆
Bro, I had to subscribe. Your channel is ‘PERFECT’.
Wow, thanks, bro! 😎
I'm THAT guy in class and trust me I don't know how. I'd advise you to be extremely quiet and fully pay attention to what the teacher says.
Ain't that easy for everyone
Nah u just a "☝️🤓"
@@narutothebrawler1856he isnt a nerd, he is just a dedicated person who wants good grades.
i can tell you are still in middle school

@@v1sekolmrb3 I agree
The way you give tips makes it easier for me to focus on listening... because the way you give tips is different from the others.😶
4:03 When I write, my brain was forced to get what it is saying, not the other way.
Throughout my life, I only ever got A+s (or more recently, A*s), because I give myself much-needed breaks ever so often.
another tip, be lazy so you want to write less so you understand the concept so you can shorten answers. is it just me or does it work for you guys
Haha, lazy but efficient, I like that! 😄 If it works for you, go for it!
Bro i love your vids the best you tuber in world i swear❤
Im gonna say something
You've mastered it..
Thanks, bro! Always trying to get better!
Hope this helped or clear something if you needed 🙏
brooo you have 4k subs now. it was 500 before w🎉 w video
Brooo, thanks for the heads-up! Crazy how fast it's grown! 🎉🔥
Absolute wonderful advices 🎉
THAT WORD "IDIOT" GOT ME FOR SUBSCRIBING 😂
BTW... LOVE YOUR WAY OF EXPLANATION..NOT GETTING BORED ❤
Bro calls me idiot more times I heard in my entire life😂
Thanks man that helped me a lot your the best.
my tip: make a story with the terms in it, it is useful when there are terms with definition, every term you need to remember, think of a word that is close in rhyme or spelling, as for the definition, think of a scenario that the term is doing that is close to it.
Thats me already tho. But the video is great like always. Keep up the great work. Just had a look for your Prompt collection. Seems to be pretty useful. I'll maybe buy it when I have some money left over.
Thanks a lot! 💙And no rush on the collection, it’s not going anywhere! 😄
This is so useful, I'm one day away from my final exams
Now I do understand why are you calling yourself 'The Angry Explainer'. Thank you for your help bro!
I'm already, "That guy," when it comes to math, and all I do is pay attention to the teacher, and I remember how to do forever.
Literally I'm that one student but I'm interested in that subject not literally studying lol
Thanks so much ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for that bro❤
Any time! 😎
as a straight a student i don’t agree with ,,ditching the stories” since it has helped me a lot while understanding material(especially in history)
i had my last exam today but imma still watch it cuz its your vid 😝😝
Haha, appreciate the dedication! Hope your exam went well! 😜
thanks dude it will helped and it was really motivated me by your word "idiot " (thanks for this video!)
love this channel so much, and although i am a currently a straight A or B student, still, everytime he says "you idiot!" after his statements with the slap noise just makes me laugh each time 😂
Haha, those are the best parts of the video for sure! 😂 I love doing that!
@@theangryexplainer loll
anyway keep up the great work, I like to watch your vids once a day during supper, and I'm sure a lot of us love your humor and your channel too 💙🌟
Thanks. I will try these methods now and comeback to tell the results =)
Awesome! Can’t wait to hear how it goes. Best of luck! 💪
How'd it go?
@@TowfeeqSharif well, after a few weeks of trying these methods and other study techniques, my grades is now quite well ( usually 8.5-9 out of 10). I suggest using some apps like Notion or Anki to active recall your knowledge to boost your memory.
I love your videos man !
Sometimes if I don't remember what work I have to do for each period, I just list them in order and try my best to remember what I have for that class and I repeat that process step. by. step.
NICE Video AS ALWAYS!
Thanks, bro! Glad you like it!
@@theangryexplainer Will you make a video on how to write faster and more beautiful? I am waiting for it!
Gotta check if enough people are into that first, to see if it's worth the effort!
@@theangryexplainer Yes sirrrrr
I'm a one who get straight A+ in exams and... I don't really do what u said in here (like sleeping and stuff) but what i do similar is that I pay attention to what matters in class from teacher... then I don't study at all except 1 day or 1 hour before the exam (depends on how big it is).. but really what is important is that u understand how ur curriculum works through the years.. understanding that will save 99% of ur effort and make u get higher marks... It's not really sth special or make us smarter Tho... it is just that we figured it out..
all the other vids i watched were boring and long, but this one had such funny moments and the stick figure low key makes me remember things. im also just writing this comment so i will remember this video better (I LEARNT IT FROM THE VID!!!!)
Great video bro🙏
Thanks, im watching this video at 2am while doing homework
i got a A in math because of you thanks

Can we get a counter on the amount of times bro said IDIOT 😭😭😭😭😭😭💀💀💀💀
It's simple, in my class the students that study less get good grades because they have a friend that knows every answer and they just copy from that friend! What a genius
Thank you, this is so inspiring ❤.
You're welcome, bro!
thanks for this❤
Thanks very much
