Had this on Atari St. Took forever to load & had the most punishing, unforgiving gameplay. These old games gave zero shits whether you finished them or not, gamer frustration real in the early 90s!
the first 3 levels were like '' ok so this combines more types of games'' but then it gets repeated so i can feel the pain of the people that bought this piece of sh..crap
I was 13yrs old, paid full price which was something like $110 NZD, i had a paper run that paid $17.35 a week to get up at 5.30am 6 days a week. This game was equivalent to 6 weeks of work! (game reviews weren't a thing back then) You can imagine my disappointment with this turd of a game! Scams like this hurt the industry, after this bad experience I pirated games for about a decade after, cause I didn't want to get ripped off again.
I remember trying to beat this game on the family PC, it was really hard, the bike chase was pure bs and I don't recall getting past the face mini game
It was common back then for software companies to blow massive amounts on getting the license for the game, leaving them with minimal funds for the actual game itself. The net result was... well, THIS!
@@radspencer8187 It was probably the only decent Terminator 2 game outside the Arcade game. The hacking mini game was annoying though and it should have had more levels like for example the mall and the hospital.
I played this when I was a child. I could never go through the last level :-\ Watching it now seems pretty bad and short with no final at all xD Thanks for the upload
I had this on Amiga. It came as a pack of three games: this, WWF Wrestlemania and Bart vs. The Space Mutants. I remember completing this in 15 minutes on my third run through and feeling so cheated. However, Bart vs TSM was ridiculously hard. Props to anyone who ever completed that game.
I remember this! If you started shooting immediately the T1000 would be pushed to the side of the screen and you would win the fight without having to go into melee.
This game embodies the first time I had the feeling of being ripped off... I literally completed the game in 10min. Like the walkthrough shows: you can be bad at it and complete it in 10 min
I know the Nerd sometimes tends to exaggerate when it comes to LJN games, but wow. That's a game as shitty as it gets. I love how a playthrough takes 10 minutes, I love the absence of music throughout the game and the poor attemp to resemble the main theme, I love how they recycle the T1000 fight 2 times, I love how the T800 simply kills all the SWAT guys, and I love the one screen outro. That gotta be one of LJNs best works.
What's going on? Why do you 'terminate' the T1000 in the hospital right at the start, and then do the drainage canal afterwards? Wrist endoskeleton puzzles! Madness x I though the Megadrive one was bad
I used to play this steaming ass bucket when I was a kid. This was some serious nostalgia on one of the worst games ever made. Like "remember thay scene where the T-800 and T-1000 shuffled down a hallway slowly at each other".
I swear I played a game similar to this on the genesis/megadrive/snes that had similar graphics and the top down chase in the storm drain with your character at the bottom of the screen and the truck at the top. There were less obstacles and more bridges to drive under that you had to avoid the pillars. You didn't play as the t-800 for most of it but connor instead. maybe Ocean did the pal version differently.
Ocean jumped on all of the movie games. Rocekteer, this, darkman; LJN did the horrible BTTF games. You can identify the style of the ocean programmers in the music and graphics. Too bad they couldn't write a game for a shit because they traditionally had some great gravity effects and graphics in most of their releases.
I don't hate ljn as much as avgn does. Maybe its because i didnt owned a nes. This game is hard mf but cool enough game. Anyway glad to see someone finally beats this game.
Whoever made this game and approved for its production, deserve a special trip into the molten steel
I just watched a video showing the C64 version of this game which I had as a kid and it's even worse
Some guy got paid for this.. LOL
This is simply horrible
I played back in the day and it's a solid game
One of the best, stage two is epic.
Yeah it’s just for few of retro fans like me. But game is not todays game.
Playing this as a kid was great fun! The face puzzle was a nightmare!
Who else seen the look of horror on AVGN’s face when they seem the ljn logo lol
A really AVGN worth piece of crap
AVGN?
What is that, 2009?
Had this on Atari St. Took forever to load & had the most punishing, unforgiving gameplay. These old games gave zero shits whether you finished them or not, gamer frustration real in the early 90s!
Imagine how cheated you must have felt buying this at full price: A 10 minutes long collection of mini games.
the first 3 levels were like '' ok so this combines more types of games'' but then it gets repeated so i can feel the pain of the people that bought this piece of sh..crap
It's been 30 years, and I'm still angry about it.

That’s why we pirated the hell outta this trash.
Jeez man you are absolutely right, I was scammed too as a kid and did as you
This game looks so horrible, but yet I couldn't stop watching lol.
Me too!
I remember this game at 1990th.
So hard playing.
Only way of making it longer.
I guess they spent all the budget on the license...
I think they spent all the budget on drugs
@@marcociviero621 Hahahhaa. Indeed!
I remember trying to beat this game on the family PC, it was really hard, the bike chase was pure bs and I don't recall getting past the face mini game
This looks absolutely awful, even for its time
You should see the commodore c64 version.
It was!
Total trash. Gameboy version was better than this, except that fucking circuit mini game.
It was common back then for software companies to blow massive amounts on getting the license for the game, leaving them with minimal funds for the actual game itself. The net result was... well, THIS!
@@radspencer8187 It was probably the only decent Terminator 2 game outside the Arcade game.

They couldn't even get the rhythm of the theme song right...
Prob licensing issues
Not bad for a movie licebse gamw loool
The Amiga version did it right. Even I liked the puzzle theme then this one.
I played this when I was a child. I could never go through the last level :-\

Thanks for the upload
The Nes version was a lot longer
@@mikekaraoke and extremely difficult.
It is indeed, I agree

What memories. Bart vs tsm was so much fun. I loved it, but yeah, superhard
Loved bart Vs the space mutants! Anyone loved The New Zealand story?
I remember this! If you started shooting immediately the T1000 would be pushed to the side of the screen and you would win the fight without having to go into melee.
Yep, I used to do that all the time! To this day, still not sure if it's a feature or a bug!!
The most shittiest T2 game ever made.
Remember this was 1991 and this was pre Playstation and they didn't have computer graphic like today back then.
@@danielwilliamson6180 No I played this when it came out when I was 12. It sucked then also.
And that’s saying alot if you look at the other games in the franchise. Might be worst of all movie licenses 😵💫
I've watched T-2 so many times.
lol the fight scene in the hallway
When I see Ljn I don't expect anything good. Thanks for the video though !
This game embodies the first time I had the feeling of being ripped off... I literally completed the game in 10min. Like the walkthrough shows: you can be bad at it and complete it in 10 min
A bought this game in 1991 after i saw the movie at the cinema. Great memories
No One:
LJN proudly presents...
Thank you for playing this game.
I really want to see ending
I played many PC games as a kid around 1990. One of the first lessons I learned was to avoid movie licence games as 99% of them really sucked.....
And people complain when a COD game is over in 4 hours. Took me just one day to beat this piece of shit
So THIS is the game that my cousin had on his PC back in like 1995. Remember it clearly and only just found it today.
So this entire game can be finished in less than 15 minutes if you're good enough?
What's going on? Why do you 'terminate' the T1000 in the hospital right at the start, and then do the drainage canal afterwards? Wrist endoskeleton puzzles! Madness x I though the Megadrive one was bad
Does it really have the ljn logo plastered in the game?
I used to play this steaming ass bucket when I was a kid. This was some serious nostalgia on one of the worst games ever made. Like "remember thay scene where the T-800 and T-1000 shuffled down a hallway slowly at each other".
Ljn and ocean what a combination
7:37 this scene was cut from the movie.
How’s the fight at the start it was like watching two old people with plastic hips go at it
06:25 tem um sfx que tem em pokémon amarelo, azul, verde e vermelho, para gameboy. Quem será que copiou quem?
LJN and OCEAN ...
Only PACK-IN-VIDEO is missing.
The NES version and the T2 pinball machine were the best T2 games.
Tough game. Good video.
a game that just hangs on to the fame of the movie.
That was painful to watch .
I gave the video a like...not because I like the game but because I respect your ability to plow through thus crap. What a miserable game.
Piece of artwork there... Glad Doom came around a few years later😜
Great work 👍
Hey there! Is it okay if I use this footage for a retrospective? I'll credit your channel and include a link.
I can't understand it. Why the used the Atari graphics for this port instead of the Amiga version???
SOUND ADLIB?
This was just such a weird little game compared to the massive budget and success of the actual movie.
Never has saving the future of mankind ever looked so...
Epic.
I had this on th AMIGA 500 good times with that a bew zealand story, back to the future 2, chase hq, batman the movie
I was about to write a comment about how bad the game is, then i noticed the LJN logo. Fair enough, no more talk.
Old but Gold.
Said the swarm of flies lol
I remember this game as a teen(ager) on my IBM PS/2 model 30 286 10 Mhz PC. I was all excited, but it was so lame.
The best one is the SNES version in my opinion. And I'm a Sega kid.
I thought I imagined this game in a fever dream
this was one of the first PC games I ever got. I have no idea where it came from. I also had no idea how to play it.
This is clearly Pop-Eye in a dance contest gone wrong.
I have only good memories of this game no matter how bad actual gameplay was
Ocean and their 15 Puzzles, I swear.
Well, at least there are no first person firing ranges.
The SNES and NES T2 games were more involved and longer and had better gameplay.
You'd think they'd have made a better PC game.
If you think this is bad, I had the AMSTRAD version of it. Wowee.
LJN logo...this is some concentrated evil
This game looks like it was made in 1825
....aaaaand LJN's infamous reputation for incredibly sucky games continues.
1:50--"Hasta la vista, BABY."
issues with the game:
1) lack of soundtrack
2) swat's kill icon isnt a human skull as sarah and john connor have
3) no dialogue whatsoever
Worst games always have the best intro

Still better than Dark Fate
Amen
so did the t800 on the traffic level killed john?!?! AND HIS MOM?!?!?!?!?!
In the first level if you shoot him quickly he goes off screen and you instantly win
Watching this Game made me hope that robots came from the future to come and kill us
I'd rather play the SNES one where the Terminator looked like Hank Hill over this any day
This version is pretty decent
And it's from LJN! No less!
МДЯ, а сколько было имоцый!!!
Who thought the sliding puzzles in a T2 game were a good idea?!
Low budget
Good old times ! ! !
lol Arnolds head is huge
la persecusion en la furgoneta era imposible no morir
Ljn strikes again
Ocean jumped on all of the movie games. Rocekteer, this, darkman; LJN did the horrible BTTF games.

Это игра на Денди шла?
Не знаю на денди такой игры не быдо на денди офигенный терминатор был в свое время один из лучших
i had this game once
I don't hate ljn as much as avgn does. Maybe its because i didnt owned a nes. This game is hard mf but cool enough game.

This game was SO FRUSTRATING when i played it as a kid
Been there
Везло тем, у кого в начале 90-х был персональный PC. Мне подарили только в 96-м Intel 80486
Another LJN approved nightmare
Oh no it's LJN
I remember thinking this was crap when I was a kid.
Ljn made a good game.
This looks more like some demo instead of game.
"What a sh*t load of f*ck!"
The whole game is 11 min!?!?! Even with a restart? Now i know why people despise LJN...
era un rompecabezas??? :V
No problemo
LJN?
Damn
Painful memories from 1994. Ugh.
LJN..AVGN great nemesis!
A shitty part of my childhood 🤣
T-2 arcade game best t2 game
