*Sees Terminator crash his car through the front of the building* *Police officer is still sitting at the front desk* That is one brave and indestructible officer. In fact, all of them seem to be rather invulnerable to gunfire!

I have seen the movie, but imagine that I haven't, Reese is in perfect condition when he fights the Terminator at the end but suddenly dead at the ending credits?
I know really, which was strange! Like imagine Mario, Sonic, Link, Mega Man, etc. suddenly being declared "dead" after successfully finishing a game, when they were seemingly alive and well when all was said and done? Only in the Super NES version did Reese actually die at the end, like he did in the actual movie.
I just love the creative liberties the developers took back then in games like this, such as Reese wearing a white coat, and having police officers throw molotovs at him!!
I think the people throwing molotov cocktails and punkers or gang members. But yeah, Los Angeles being a warzone with cops and gang members going around shooting and throwing self made bombs, while helicopters go around launching missiles at people. And of course Reese going around making even more casualties than the Terminator ever did.
And he crushes the Terminator in the machine at the end, when that was actually Sarah, and appears completely unharmed only for the ending text to tell us he's dead. It would have been better to have stuck to the film and have Reece die when he blows the Terminator's legs off, then have Sarah take over as player character for the last bit where you lure the legless Terminator into the machine and crush it.
After 30 years I’ve never seen the end of this game. It’s been such a long time since I’ve had this game or a genisis for that matter. As a kid I could never get passed tech noir lol
