Why did your company steal a $155 from me. Do you make it a practice to scam senior citizens? Do you answer BB complaints.

At Mila's Companion Care Services, we provide non- medical care for individuals who are partially disabled but are mostly self sufficient. We do light housekeeping, prepare meals, escort to doctors appointments, provide transportation, accompany to events and outings. And most importantly provide companion care. Thank you to all the caregivers in America that really love their job in helping the elderly.

There’s a difference between companionship and caregiving. Companionship should be nothing hands-on unless you’re certified & insured.

💯 toileting is NOT companion care.

I heard that if you want to open your own Companionship Agency you can't put the word care because then it becomes a medical agency now. I was a Companion sitter and I took my client out shopping, doctor appt and I did housekeeping and cooking. I really enjoyed it.

Don't open an agency. Just put an add in the paper and ensure you get a background check or have a current check within 2 yrs. I had one referral only and got a good paying job working 48 hrs a week. I worked in Supportive Living with Developmentally Disabled adults so that includes some caregiving, but was really just a Companion Caregiver with high skills regarding behaviors. My client has behaviors and went thru 3 Caregivers before me so they appreciate me. I charge $25 per hr, charge my car at work, and sleep 10.5 hrs of each shift (or go online).

I would be an outstanding live in companion for a well to do elderly person who wishes to age in place in their large home. I am not interested in being indentured or having all my energy exploited. I will help my companion live better, if they help me to live better. Los Angeles area only. Stellar personal and professional references available. Male, 56.

If you don’t want to be sued for accidents then you must be considered employee by the family- get a w-2 bc then if any accidents Happen you can’t be sued by your own employer (the family) bc you are not a contractor, but rather an employee who works the hours and days the family tells you. These things meet the qualifications that differentiate a contractor (who’s not insured automatically) versus an employee (who is essentially covered bc your employer can’t sue you). Please research this

I work 48 hours a week for $25 cash per hr. Sleep, on average, 10 hrs of each shift, sometimes a little more. Actually I'm not asleep, 20% of that I am online. I charge my electric car while at work. Bring my food with me to work. I can't say I like it but it is good $ and I do sleep. Client can be very difficult, constant munipulation due to Narcissistic Personality Disorder and is prone to rages. I just go in my room downstairs, lock the door and let her have her toddler melt down. $25 is not enough pay to tolerate deliberate abuse. Sorry she has dementia but yes lady, much of your dementia, you are pretending it.
