“Since their debut in collegiate basketball in 1980”….WTH??? Purdue has played collegiate basketball since 1896. Was the National Champ in 1932, pre NCAA tourney. Was runner up in the NCAA tournament in not only 2024, but 1969. Where did they come up with this statement?

This is a garbage video with lots of incorrect facts. Purdue has been playing college basketball since the 1800s and it is easily the top priority of the school to do well. Also, Purdue's first National Championship appearance was in 1969. They made the Final Four in 1980. Better fact checking is needed before posting.

He's 27th in assist/turnovers . He isn't in the top 150 in points, rebounds, or field goal percentage in division 1. You can't just look at points and assist. You have to look at efficiency. He's average to good, but not elite. Against ranked teams he averages 14 points, 37% from the field, 8 assist and 3 turnovers. Those aren't elite. Who cares what he numbers were against Toledo!

I agree with all that you've said. People throw around the term "elite" too frivolously. He is putting up ok numbers vs top 25 teams and good numbers against those outside of the top 25. Therefore he's average to good, not elite. Cam Jones, Ace Baldwin, Wade Taylor, and Cad Baker all matched or outplayed him in their matchups.
