Timia, the way you have spoken about your experience will help so many people. Same for the rest of the Kittens. Thank you all for opening up ❤️ See you soon in London, I can't wait x

Hello Timia. I just want to take a moment to say that your music brings such joy to my wife Gemma and I. We came to see you all for your album launch at the Southampton HMV. When you called out for requests, I had to ask for "Poison". It was the song that brought Gem and I together and your vocals on this track are powerful and haunting and glorious. We hope to see you at The Engine Rooms at the end of the year. Much love. xx

Thank you all for speaking up. I got diagnosed with type II bipolar disorder after a lifetime of depression and 15 years of confusion why I was getting more and more agitated and hyperactive and suicidal as I got older, and I'm finally on medication that seems to be making a difference.
I stumbled across your music about a month ago and I've been voraciously listening to it all. As a metalhead who has hosted and produced burlesque shows, I'm finding your covers absolutely delightful and a great way to replace misery with joy. Again, thank you.

Powerful videos by you all, a real eye opener and a major education for me. I would never have guessed any of you were struggling with inner demons, and the battles you've had just to still be here. Thank you for the honesty and openness. I wish you all the luck in the world, the world is a brighter place with you all in it 😊, love the new Avicii arrangement too.

    Thank you for posting this.
There is so much that I assume was difficult to talk about here. Unfortunately people should talk about mental health issues, even though they are things we just aren't good at talking about. I hope having you talk about this encourages people to reach out when they need help.
Along the lines of the song, it was awesome. I love hearing new versions of old favourites and "hey brother" was one of the first Avicci tracks I really loved.

Thank you so much for sharing, the more people talk the more we can 'normalise' mental health issues as a society and stop brushing them under the carpet

Three, amazingly beautiful human beings. Lost my brother to suicide in 2013. It's so important to talk about these things. I only wish I knew that 6 years ago.

I suffer from similar things as well. Very brave of you to share. The awareness is growing in spite of the stigma. The music got me through, as well as being lucky to have landed in the friends and family I have. I remember at the darkest part, illness and scary physical stuff, going on, panic attacks, half my family dying in a less than 2 year span, looking at my bass and saying, "YOU. You are going to get me out of this." That was my first step. And the beauty of a first step is eventually you will look back and see how far you've come. Been following you gals for a while...excellent work. My very best wishes to you. Let's kick ass in our bands. Cheers from Canada eh.

The 3 of you are clearly showing right now what a wonderful bunch of caring people you really are, and whilst you might not always feel it how strong you are. that all of you can of gone through such a rough period together and still been there for each other even if not all the time and to be able to come out of it the other side as a group is not easy and is a testiment to your personal strengths
the fact that each of you has also been able to talk so openly in such a public way is another testiment of that strength you should all feel proud of the fact that you are adding your voice to something that needs to be said and needs to be shared by more people

This has been so inspiring to watch and to hear what you said when I saw you in Newcastle and I've suffered from a mental heath problem for quite some time. It started near the end of primary school but there wasn't really much there apart from high embarrassment and sometimes I would hear voices but i could manage fine with it. But when I hit high school it all changed. From about year 8 I saw big changes in my mental health, my anxiety started to get worse and worse, then I'd get panic attacks and I lost all confidence in myself and started to loose my extroverted side to me and become very introverted. Through the next 2 years to where I am today it has been progressively getting worse and I started to go through big patches of when I was done with life and spent time pondering on all the different ways I could kill myself and I spent time trying to find happiness in things I liked which at the time was hard and seeking support online. Going to round November 2018 I got diagnosed with ASD which is a form of autism which has been getting very noticeable now but somehow I've found enough of something to push through and to be where I am now, my struggles aren't gone or getting better but seeing this has given me some of the hope I need to go on.
    Thank you so much

@@MxTimia really sorry to hear that, but totally understand. It's hard to control those feelings when they hit, and even hard to believe it will pass, though it does.

It must be so difficult to discuss these things, but thank you for sharing! I have no doubt it will help inspire people! Also, great insight into the new record. A great set of videos, which I'm sure will make me appreciate the avichi record even more when it comes out on Thursday! Stay strong girls!

The world will never stop for anyone, like a mad tree spinning around itself unrelenting slowly tearing it's own leaves to fall behind and away to die alone, but everytime some of those fragile little green thingies manage to keep a hold on the tree's branches, unsure of what they'll become but still determinated to survive and perhaps even bloom to something beautiful it gives all of us a little hope to do our best and keep on living and creating

May you know there would be a 9 year old little girl here in the states that would be crushed with out you in the world, needing her blue hair model inspiration.
As to speaking of the dark side you are speaking of, I've danced this same dance for decades now, and only 5 months ago, finally did something about it, and cbd had been my helper, just enough to keep the edge of the world that pushes you, and holds you in the black hole, off and makes it tolerable again.
Also check out Chad Hates George's song Shooting up and breaking down, hits the nail on the head pretty hard.
Stay sain, how ever you have to do it, in what ever way suits you.
