LOL Tamu (drummer) 15 .She is 31 and quite far on being pregnant in this vidio with her first now has 2 .All members of Nemophila are seasoned performers youngest 25 or is it now 26 lol .This was there first YT upload a few years ago they started 2019 just as covid hit doing covers each week from home or Tamu's drum studio . Dig deep as there are now 3 full albums and loads of covers .Very fast growing band with kick ass originals and live there amazing .
One of the best bands out of Japan. they have done many great covers and they always kick ass. But their originals are where they shine the most. If you love Iron Maiden they also did a killer cover of Aces High. For their originals try Dissension, Oiran Live, Adabanda, Revive, Ama-te-ras. There is Plenty more than that too. The Band been around 5 years and has 3 albums. Sadly Saki the guitarist on the right with the darker hair decided to leave the band a couple weeks ago and do other projects but the rest of the band is moving on as a 4 piece as of now. They are all amazing musicians and Hazuki the other shredder will still be there leading the guitar attack. With Haraguchi-san kicking ass on bass and Tamu on Drums. Tamu is IMO best female drummer in Japan. Oh and she is in her early 30s with two children not 15 haha. Then there is Mayu the lead singer who actually pretty much formed the band. she has a great voice with a bit of a rasp. But she also growls and screams on many of the bands songs. Amazing lead singer she is. There is hours and hours of covers and originals I'm sure will enjoy from this band.
Nemophila (neh-moe-fee-la) is one of my top 3 bands right now. Their covers are super fun and the setting is intimate which is nice to see their real personalities/talents. Just don't miss their original songs.
For original songs start with Revive, Rise, Dissention, Zen (live), Oiran (live), Adabana, Ama-Te-Ras, etc.
Oh, and 'the look' from Haraguchi-san is when Tamu (drummer) missed a fill or drum part :)
Very diverse powerhouse band.. lots of great music from these Queens in a short time.. Next level musician/artists, and Mayu (vocals) one of a kind.. they recently lost one of the guitarists to a solo career (Saki)red killer guitar, but are moving forward tentatively as a four member band..Hazuki (Ibanez) guitarist is more than capable, she's amazing, and can be very technical in her approach.. Id like to see the space filled eventually, only because I love a duel lead, and harmonizing guitars..but they'll always be my number 1 band, along with Lovebites ( for different reasons)..Thanks for the great reaction, please continue..May I suggest Oiran (recent live) Ama te ras (recent live) Raitei (thunder) mv, Adabana mv, Monsters(live) for a start...lol.. btw Tamu (drummer) is a Thunder Goddess on drums..
During covid they released a ton of covers. every friday for a while. but they also released 4 full albums in 5 years and toured the US twice I think. They're super talented and diverse, playing a bunch of different metal and rock genres and blending them together, even some rap here and there. There are some good music videos of them and a ton of official live videos on their channel as well. you really can't go wrong with anything. go to their channel (and subscribe) and just pick any video that catches your interest.

As for Mayu having a great voice, you really "Ain't heard nothin' yet!" They are all so talented.

Reactor Joel Roadie got Snake Sabo to react to their Skid Row cover, which was cool.
I don't know their ages, but they are all seasoned musicians that all came from other bands. Singer and drummer both just had babies!

I love Nemophila, but I have always found this cover a little laid back, too playful.
I prefer their "Aces High" cover, they look and sound much more focused and agressive in that rendition.👍
