Theres many albums missing from both videos. To name a few: Ege Bamyasi, Tago Magoo, Future Days, Selling England by the Pound, Here Come the Warm Jets, Larks Tongues in Aspic, On the Beach, Meddle, Low, Station to Station, All Things Must Pass, Unknown Pleasures.... All these are much better than most here. The Eagles, Boston, Alice Cooper, Sex pistols and Van Halen don't belong here
Funnily, I bought very few of the album's listed BUT the '70's was when I purchased most of my LP's..... Did I miss Talking Head's & Patti Smith Group ? I did purchase about 50% of the 1960's album's. I guess there's an awful lot of fantastic album's that wern't the best in 1970, that luckily I still own & play.
@joaquinposadas64 73 is the greatest year of all time for albums. There are just so many groundbreaking all time brilliant albums from that year, it's impossible to just pick a few. It's like the diversity and experimentation of the 60s all came together in the early 70s and hit a peak in 1973. 70 to 75 or 76 is certainly a very special golden period of rock and pop albums.
Good call - there's a lot missing from 1973 generally. I'm not sure which Slade album would make such a list - my personal faves were Slade in Flame and Nobody's Fool.
Great albums from the 70s!
So happy and surprised to see Argus on this list. Good job.
Well put together 70s rock bands🎉
Got most of them in my collection.
1970-1975 . . . . Definitely something (good) in the water. A period of greatness NEVER to be duplicated.

@@joaquinposadas64 oh ok. I can't find part one. And I thought the two parts might be in chronological order.

@@Fuzcapp i didn't say otherwise. just my opinion, if i had to suggest any 1973 album for the video it wouldn't be dsotm.
@@joaquinposadas64 yeah. No worries. I'm actually agreeing with you. 1973 is just an incredible year for albums. S'all good.

I don’t consider “Burn” by deep purple a good album. Mediocre at best. And why no Pink Floyd????!!
