The only place where Babylon 5 really looks old is the quarters inside the station. The style of furnishing is sooo badly 1990s, also the old CRT monitors in the walls, those looked out of place even when the series was new. But in the places where it counts the CGI was actually pretty good, and to this day the series is one of the very few where they got zero gravity space battles correct. The way I see it there is not all that much to win by remaking it, but a lot of good reputation on the line that might be lost. Maybe wait another 20 or so years before digging it up again.
Imagine if those were used against the Minbari's own cruisers back in the Earth-Minbari War. I cannot say that Earth would decisively win, but I can be certain the sight of those vessels and what they represent would solidify the Minbari cause for complete extermination of humans. I doubt that the Shadows wouldn't share some artificial gravity technologies so the advanced destroyers could get rid of those rotating sections. Judging by the ships of other races, that's not such an advanced technology to keep a big secret.

Plot hole that always bothered me. They were able to figure out how to integrate an organic technology into the Omega Class but STILL needed the rotating section for gravity generation?

Did Shadow cap ships even have AG. As what we saw was a single organic with arms outstretched. No quarter's etc and the organic is merged with the Shadow ship. So it highly likely to me, that the Shadow ships dont need AG. So Clark et al would not have been able to copy it. The Organic hull may have been easier to engineer or grow. I does look like its a standard Omega that has had the skin grown over it. It may be a simple as cutting a patch off a Shadow and tricking or stimulating its repair function to cover a standard ship. Just one of those things we have to handwave. Along with why the spider legs.

Throughout the series, it was emphasized many times that the Earthforce had upgraded its sensor arrays after the Earth-Minbari war, but the battles of the Civil War against Clark as well as the Tragati incident in Points of Departure proved that it wasn't quite enough.
The Advanced Omega Class Destroyers are a JOKE. WHO the right mind put a launching bay AT THE FRONT OF THE NOSE. Nice design. Zero protection what so ever.
