Lore-wise, Lautrec would definitely let the flame fade. Not only does he kill the firekeeper of the main bonfire of the game the second the player rings both bells, hindering their advance, but he also stands guard in front of O&S to stop them from acquiring the Lord Vessel. He also scoffs with contempt at the clerics of the Way of White, followers of Gwyn who gather Humanity to fuel the fire. When you meet him in Anor Londo he also scoffs at the player for trying to fulfill the "prophecy of the chosen undead" calling him foolish and "a lamb walking to his own slaughter".
I mean lore-wise it doesn't make much sense for Lautrec to link the fire. He is aware of and opposes the plot that is designed to lure the undeads to the first flame and make them sacrifice themselves to fuel the first flame... That's his entire mission and the reason why he kills the firekeeper.
i love character cosplay runs :] i did a lautrec-themed one for elden ring once!! twinned set (altered), marionnette soldier helm, shotel, nox flowing sword, and obviously the parrying dagger. it was pretty fun :D

@johncollins8070 No, just red tearstone. The red tearstone is associated with Carim, where Lautrec comes from - while the blue tearstone is associated with Catarina, where Siegmeyer, Sieglinde, and Siegward come from. Siegmeyer even wears a blue tearstone.
Cool concept to try beating the game as the NPC's equipment, but to my preference, I would like to see how early you can build a certain NPC and beat the game with it. Great video nonetheless!
Better off using the wikis content creators like this are a dime a dozen and usually have mid level gameplay and sub par content they are doing it to get their piece of the pie which is only getting smaller and resulting in the over saturation of bad content not everyone should make things because the more that do the harder it is to tell when something good is made it’s like comparing a hundred bent sticks to find a straight on none are straight and because you are comparing them you become satisfied with the bare minimum of looks straighter than the other but all the sticks are bent just like most content creators are trash and shouldn’t contribute to your entertainment but you let them you watch like and comment on anything you find slightly interesting but all you do is feed the machine that makes these brain dead morons think they are important or some how that they’ve done something worth while but they haven’t they’ve copy and pasted over and over again till they have lost the meaning of the original it’s sad to see the disillusion the way they hype themselves up the reused ideas the same choppy editing the lack of any semblance of integrity or originality it’s disgusting I hope the internet crashes and all the footage from everyone is lost forever then maybe then we can get something authentic something real that’s worth your time and attention something that isn’t just a low quality mockery

thats insane. the only times i kill solaire are when its beneficial for the run. you're negatively wishing on me and assuming my character because i hit an npc a few times. i didnt kill a single npc on my first playthrough of any souls game. ive played these games hundreds of times, the humanity and souls are useful. its a CHALLENGE run so its like, ill do what i need to so the run can be possible. also, when i killed him in the burg run, i showed him major respect? like i still cared about it when i did it, lautrec just doesnt care lol

Pretty fun run. Real sturdy when it comes to basic enemies. Plus, watching you murder annoying npcs for "lore reasons" was extremely satisfying
