Once you do this can you bleed the system and mount brake lines directly from master to caliper? if you have the correct lines. Not the abs lines

This abs mod referring only to electric wiring on the front Sensor . Not on the hydraulic system!

Hi! Any particular reason you cut the grey wire? I'm guessing it is a closed circuit between the abs sensor and the ABS ECU box. So does it matter which cable you connect the switch to?

Can I trace the rear abs wire instead of front to only turn off the rear and have the front abs functional? Or is the system all or nothing?

What amp rating should the switch be?

Any type of switch can work. This wire is carrying analogue signal data to abs so it not a high amper line.

which wires on the switch go to the connection? What did you do with that green wire?

You must cut the grey wire from the abs sensor. Then you just connect the two wires from your switch to the the grey wire. It's so simple. A serial switch. Please if you can't manage to connect a simple switch to a wire don't do it.

You have to turn the abs switch back to normal. switch off the key and restart the bike. That's how it works. You can turn of the abs while you ride but not the opposite. If it always off then you have to check the wires connections. Rollback check if the abs works and start checking

When is "on" the Led on display is "on" too? Or off?

When the abs is as normal the abs light must be off.. You can't deactivate and activate as you ride. If you deactivate abs then you must restart your bike in order abs to work again. If the abs light is on this means that the abs is not working

Is the switch waterproof or can it cause problems in the rain or when cleaning?

The specific switch it Supposed to be waterproof. Also the specific switch I don't think is waterproof 😁 and it's working fine

It's a common on-off switch don't worry you can find it anywhere. I buy it for 4€ from a local store. Also if you prefer you can use a normal close (nc) button
