Thank you for educating me about BlueStar. I am renovating the kitchen down to the studs. White cabinets, brass hardware and fixtures and the discontinued Stellar Marine blue sparkly Silestone for a counter top.I saw the ILVE in dark blue with brass accents and thought I had found exactly what I was looking for, stunning piece-until I searched for reviews. They were all very bad. From Southern York County Pa, not far from reading. Looking forward to supporting a business in my home state.

Italian companies like Ilve are spectacular for design, not function.

I can't speak to the newer BlueStar stuff. I can however tell you this, I have a 36" BlueStar range that's just about 12 years old. Getting parts for it is near impossible. Several of the service companies in our area will no longer work on BlueStar due to poor communication and very hard to obtain parts. I love the range, but it's a ton of work keeping it clean and running well if you're a serious cook like me. I just had to replace the blowers in my hood (2x600cfm) and it was a bear of a job. The hood was sold as a BlueStar, but in reality it was a Prestige hood sold by BlueStar. Great hood and it handles the punishment I throw at it well. The fact that the 2 blowers went out after 11 years is no surprise. I was shocked they lasted that long, because I'm a guy who uses super high heat all the time in my cooking.
I hope they can improve the communication and parts availability. Mine is old but will last another 50 years if the parts are available. Consumer hint: look at the parts you need to repalce whent eh time comes. Source them direct from other sellers. You'll save a fortune and most are simple to replace. I'm happy to hear BlueStar is doing well, I just wish it was easier to get a hold of them.

Isn't BlueStar contracted to build some of the Big Chill appliances?

I like the concept of BlueStar offering a dual fuel range but I'm also very excited about the platinum series cooktop and burners, and am disappointed the two are not available together. Any chance the Prima Nova top will be available with the dual fuel?

As a professional kitchen designer by trade, I am thrilled with my brand new purchase of the 48-in platinum BlueStar range. I have to admit, it has exceeded my expectations in every way! I love the open burners, the large convection of an, and having the flexibility of the grill and griddle. I will highly recommend it to my clients. Thank you Yale for bringing such great videos on high end appliances. This is one investment that I do not regret!

Exquisite designs, but I live in America where gas stoves/ovens are going out of fasion. Do you make an electric version?

Does blue star manufacture their own 36 inch induction cook top? Or is it a rebadge

Can you get a cook top separately from the oven?

Yes! You can buy a rangetop with just the cooking surface
