  • This video is about Star-CCM+ hands on tutorial to perfom the CFD simulation of a control valve. It will guide you how to import the geometry and extract the fluid volume to perform polyhedral viscous meshing within Star-CCM+. Afterwards, the solver setup and boundary conditions used for incompressible turbulent flow using K-Epsilon turbulenc model. Finally the post-processing to visualize and examine the results.

    Thank you, splendid tutorial! Especially given the fact that there aren't many tutorials on Star :)
    Things are getting crazy complicated and challenging as one tries to make a template - that can deal with input multiple bodies assembly of the valve as input and which doesn't require manual defeaturing (hello Wrapper and Filters) and so on and so on %)
