Oh my gosh I absolutely adore this song! You did an amazing job I love your videos. I've only found you recently but I love watching you play, you sound amazing. I can't wait to get a guitar, I'm only 19 but I love all these older songs, they are so good. Keep it up!! 😁😁
Hi Mr Quayle, I'm new to the guitar and rockabilly is my favorite musical style, since I discovered your channel I've evolved a lot, I've discovered a lot of cool songs, I would really like a tutorial on the song "GOOD ROCKIN TONIGHT (LINK WRAY version)", with the rhythm and the solo please. Thank you for your incredible work. Forgive me for any flaws in my English, greetings from Brazil! 🇧🇷
I’m afraid I didn’t include this one (I wish I had). As with nearly all my videos, there’s a link to a downloadable song sheet (containing the lyrics and chords) in the video description.
I published a new songbook a couple of months ago called 'The Hot Rockin' Hundred'. None of the songs contained in it are 'new' though, they're all rock 'n' roll songs from the 1950s (plus a couple from the 1960s) It's available on Amazon and from Lulu.com. 'Bird Dog' isn't in it though.
Can you at least mention the chords used. I thought you gave us lesson tutorials before. Anyway there was another version of the bird song the troops in Vietnam played a lot? Anyone know by who? Anyways I like this one also, 😊.
If you'd like to learn this song or strum along with me, a song sheet containing the lyrics and chords I play can be viewed or downloaded from my songbook blog here: jezquaylesongbookhome.files.wordpress.com/2023/10/bird-dog-in-a-with-capo.pdf (I've added this link to the video description)

Excellent job, do you have a new book out on how to play some new songs?

@@RocknRollSongbook thanks for the reply, will you be doing a new book with new songs soon? I'm still learning from the first book.
