Top marks to whoever cut this trailer together because it carries energy and emotion very well

A+ to whoever came up with the concept for Visions. Season one was incredible and this looks superb. I look forward to it!
Ruined the potential for it by doing this.
@@Vaedeer That's your opinion. Others feel differently.
They copied Matrix’s Animatrix and Halo Legends release’s that is the same format of mash up of different types of animation. Not exactly cutting edge but some of these look really good
Season 1 was the only good Star Wars thing to come out since TCW S7 together with TBB and (the second half of) Andor (and the last 2 episodes of Tales of the Jedi.
@@r.c.c.10 The last episode of tales of the jedi was garbage lmfao
I'm happy Cartoon Saloon (animation studio behind 'The Secret of Kells,' 'Song of the Sea,' and 'Wolfwalkers') worked on this season. Their work is always beautifully made and has so much heart.
Agreed.
My heart skipped a beat when I saw their animation in this trailer. All their films have been amazing, such a brilliant studio and I am so happy that they contribute to this collection.
I loved song of the sea. I didn’t make that connection until I read your comment.

Animation from stop motion to CGI to anime with visions is always amazing. These different animation styles shows beautiful diversity in Star Wars universe.
Exactly!
@this city really looks like a city he’s not talking about ethnic diversity if that what you mean?
@this city really looks like a city yeah and I’m saying, diversity in the context means variety of animation styles and stories
@this city really looks like a city I miss when that word didn't used to make me mad lol
Star wars was always diverse, but it shouldn't be the goal when adapting this world to the big screen. The consistency, storytelling, characters and staying true to George Lucas original vision should be the main motivations.
This Volume was SO emotional. Many tears. It was absolutely beautiful!
So true! This season is soo emotional to the core. One of the best conten i’ve seen in my life
I know what you mean some of the people who had the force had to leave friends and family behind it made me sad
I'm at a loss for words dawg. Each episode in Volume 2 is a different style/technique from a completely different part of the world and despite their differences, all share the same level of creativity, love and passion for the entirety of the animation medium. Visions is genuinely a perfect title for such an unshackled project. This is ART and I can't wait to see it in all it's glory.
That's a great way to put it, friend.
Yeah.... it feels like love deat and robot but Star wars
Yeah thanks for giving us the premise of the whole series 🙄
And somehow every story is about a girl
@@shailonnoelle7175 it’s all about the Agenda. This has Kathleen Kennedy’s fingerprints all over it
0:22 This animation style looks so sick. You can really feel the power with each clash of the lightsaber
It does bother me that when the light saber is being dragged along the floor, it doesn't actually mark/cut the floor but its still my favorite animation style displayed here. Its very grounded and is just visually impressive.
Better give us a show in just that style lol
It kinda reminds me of into the spider verse but not quite
@@flipix8711 Your Kinda right about that, The almost Hand drawn stop motion look will always have us think of Into The SPIDERVERSE.
it's like spider verse animation combined with ralph macquaries original star wars art, reminds me a lot specifically of the one art piece of vader fighting luke in the hallway
As an animation student, this has me VERY excited. I loved studying the first season, and seeing so many varying styles here through one of my favourite franchises has me very giddy.
This may inspire you

I absolutely love this. I know some people don't care for visions since it's not Canon, but I absolutely love the different takes on the star wars universe and the beautiful animation, can't wait to see this
They could integrate any of the Visions characters into main continuity with or without their creators blessing, the Star Wars Story Group just haven’t seen a good enough reason to do so…. yet.
I love Visions because it isn’t canon. I hate the Star Wars canon. They have this massive universe with near endless potential for characters and worlds and stories, and they just stick to the same small handful of events and characters to pull from. Visions is a microdose of what Star Wars could and should be.
@The Violet Bee I agree. Visions season 1 was some of the best star wars in last 10 years. With how a lo of the main line shows are being handled, I'm enjoying these small projects more.
We don’t care about those people! ✌🏾🙌🏾💪🏾
Personally, I like both. I like the continuous, more condensed feel of the Star Wars canon, and the pure creativity in the non canon stuff. I think they compliment each other.
I'm honestly SO glad they're doing this, it keeps things so FRESH in the universe and I wish that they did this for more series.
Visions is straight up some of the most creative, fun, and exciting content to come out of star wars in a long time. I'm so glad it's continuing, and I think animation is a fantastic medium for the franchise!
I do respect that they are incorporating many unique and cool looking animation styles to visions.
Like all these look very distinct from one another, and add more personality and character to them, compared to them all being done by the same studio.
I’m all for it.

Same. Bad Batch S2 is awesome, I really like Sid's character development.

The most curious thing about visions 2 is that despite being made by 9 diff countries around the world three of them have a similar ending. Actually scratch that, 5 of them have very similar protagonists!
I was one of the celebration attendees that got to see the sneak peak of one of the shorts, and man you all are definitely in for a treat!
As someone with a deep appreciation for animation, I enjoyed the Kurwosawa/anime style of the last season and I’m already loving what I’m seeing here!
Buddy that BW samurai episode is pure art. Amazing.
anime is bad dude lol
There is a book called Star Wars: Ronin that took everything from that first episode the Duel and expanded it to galactic proportions, it is such a good read!
I love Visions! Such a breath of fresh air for both the animation and Dtar Wars communities. Cannot wait for the second volume. Disney should be producing new volumes every year, and the best shorts that warrant sequels or serialization should be made into their own spinoffs
Please continue making more Star Wars visions

Kudos to Lucasfilm for cherishing creativity in such a way other studios like Marvel would never dare to. This looks incredible, even better than the first volume, I love the diversity of animation styles, I can't wait, seems like amazing work all across.
Really odd comparison considering both are owned by the same company who pushes for these types of decisions. Disney does this to expand global recognition of the IP. Heck Marvel has several anime. I mean at best you're saying Disney gives preferential treatment to Lucasfilm because marvel had all their best Western animated content canceled to push the MCU and has been lacking in the department since (much less the idea of having global animation studios work on projects for marvel).
Yeah, I don't think you understand who is behind all this. This is Disney, who IS Marvel.
@@vullord666 The problem with Marvel is Kevin Fiege. He's too attached to his cinematic universe and too adamant at keeping everything connected to that one universe. There are so many potential Elseworlds stories that Marvel can do but Fiege is too afraid to abandon the MCU.
Star Wars has always aspired to be more creative than the MCU, despite people like RLM saying otherwise.
Probably the least creative things they have done are Obi-Wan and The Rise of Skywalker. And even those have more flair than any "flavour of the week" MCU flick.
You really dont know the subject matter of either companies, lol

Yeah I feel Star Wars fans are always negative. Like when I was looking at the Jedi Survivor gameplay trailer, people were mad about his walking/running animations. It's such a small part of the game. I can look past it. People are always looking for something to complain about
You guys must be new to fandoms if you think that's unique to Star Wars. Got some toxic positivity going on here saying people aren't allowed to be mad about or criticize things made by a multi billion dollar corporation.
@@garden_creature no, I'm not new. Some fandoms are more toxic than others. Fandoms like Star Wars and Marvel take the cake. I'm nowhere near new to the Star Wars fandom
