As someone that occasionally makes hiking content, I definitely appreciate the extra effort for all the still shots! Dope video man, and that fishing spot around 12 minutes is unreal looking. So pretty!!
the infamous silliman slabs! the Camara doesn't do it justice. it is steep! lots of nice eating size brookies. one of the nicest sunsets on the west coast.
Beautiful spot up there !!! Solitude and good fishing. Mr. Marmot was very curious . It was funny seeing him run by your camera . It's been one of the warmest summers up in the sierras, with that huge high pressure dome sitting over the west. I always enjoy your backpacking adventures, thanks for sharing .
@JustinMcKinneyhiker Thanks man your comments always mean a lot. Those marmots definitely took a chunk out of my gopro! Yeah, it's been hot and humid this year, much different than the last!
I was on a trail similar to the one in the beginning of this video at Sequoia National Forest & a massive brown bear came running down the mountain. It was the trail where it leads to a waterfall. It was the most frightening thing that had happened to me at the time..I was 16. Im 34 now. Thanks 4 showing the trails!
@@NickInNature Wow! We saw two tents tucked in near the lake and two people were talking in them. We didn''t want to disturb. Is that you and someone else walking along the water in the timelapse? We probably passed the lake at 2pm and left the area at 4pm. Didn't see another person the whole day

What day were you up there? My girlfriend and I hiked to the peak on July 11th
@michaeloswald3776 I believe the 11th and the 12th of July. Weird, I didn't see anyone, but I was relaxing a lot. Thanks for watching!
