I know a lot of other people have said this, but you absolutely have a gift for teaching. This is the first time I've actually understood the direct and indirect object pronouns. It just clicked after watching this video. I need lots more practice, but the framework is finally there.

I've been studying spanish an embarrassingly long time without being fluent. I've been watching your videos and they resonate much more deeply than any book or videos I've seen. This topic of using le and les had been an insurmountable climb for me. You're an excellent teacher who has a gift for explaining and I'm finally starting to get it. Great job.

I love the long videos, I listen to your videos repeatedly while walking my pets at 5am, I can’t watch the videos at this time because I have to keep an eye on them. My morning start with 1-2hrs of listening to your lessons on repeat. After 4 weeks, I’m just now moving onto lesson 8 and things really do make sense.
I think people get frustrated when they follow lesson like they’re binging on Netflix and that’s not how a language is learned. You have to repeat the same lesson numerous times and I tend to play them from 1-7 regularly and then restart. Love the work you do! Huge Thank you !!

Hola paul. Como esta’s. yo soy de india. There are 28 states in india with different languages. I can speak only 3 language. English, hindi, and Marathi our local language. After watching Pablo escobar, senora acera, el chapo in Netflix I fell in love with Spanish language and thus it started. I am following your channel for the last 3 months. Now I have started framing basic sentences. You way of teaching is excellent. Muchas gracias

you are literally the best channel for learning spanish. before, I would just try to have as much input as possible, trying to understand and grow my vocabulary. but now, by actually watching your videos and lessons, learning spanish has been a faster and smoother process. You've taught me more than any other channel. Not to hate on other youtubers, but they tend to just BS and take forever to get to the point. By then I'm tired of it and click off, feeling less motivated. Thank you for the time, effort, and work you put into these.

Estudio con una profesora in Vallarta, pero su lecciones son muy serficial. Gracias. (I'm sure there's a way to add accents, but I'll need to find it.) The length of your videos are on par, well constructed, informative, entertaining, and timely. Although I can understand the desire to watch shorter videos, 20 to 30 minutes is an appropriate lecture for an instructor such as yourself. Even though, I've enjoyed all my previous instructors, and I've had many, you have the wisdom to share the recognizable patterns that work. I knew everything up until lesson 5. All remaining videos are just making everything else I've learned come into alignment. I could have saved so much money on tuition fees. I hope you will continue to share your knowledge.

Paul I have seen a lot of your videos now and I have not been able to find the links for other videos that you say will be in the description section. What am I doing wrong?? Thank you for your instruction!

Sorry about that. There were some group description edits that wiped out the links in some cases. You can still search for topics under the search bar.

Ola Paul, I took a break too (when I got the the hard/confusing part of D.O and I.D.O's) but back at it again now so I'm happy you've added more lessons. I think I've neeearly got them, but will be watching Lessons 6,7 and 8 a few more times to solidify it. Also, just fyi, I didn't mind the longer length lessons :)

Thanks for taking the time to comment. Those object pronouns can be tough but once you learn the pattern, it will get easier. :)

Thanks for another engaging and insightful video, Paul. This one stumps me.. I watched it twice, took notes, and wrote out the phrases in the notebook I am keeping strictly to follow your lesson series. Did a little better tonight than last night, but still struggling with the IOP/DOP and the relational aspect of word order.. will review it again tomorrow and see if I really get it before advancing on to lesson 9.. having taken Spanish for 4 years in high school, worked with engineers from Mexico at my last job for over 6 years, and now dating a Peruvian lady, I am finding myself struggling a fair bit with the basics still.. hope to get a hang of it soon.. also- you mentioned links to additional videos on this lesson subject somewhere, but I cant seem to find them...? could you please provide them in your reply? thanks in advance!

This is a tough topic, but it is a predictable pattern that you can repeat. Here is a link to another video about it: ruclips.net/video/WcsP3zHr6y0/видео.html
