Nothing beats or even compares to the sound of these things in Post Scriptum. Beautiful sound design in this game, I need to get back on at some point.
Problem with PS is that it is absolutely hostile to beginners, on almost all servers you will get kicked instantly when they see you are new to the game. So how can anyone learn the game if they don't allow you to. PS community wanted to be amongst themselves and they succeeded in that, however i highly doubt the devs of this game will support a game for very long that only a handful of people play. So in essence PS community dug their own grave in the long run.

Always seemed kind if bizarre to me that you can’t blow trees out of the way in this game. Even the now prehistoric game “Blitzkrieg” let you destroy objects to get a clear firing path.
It's not as simple as just making the trees fall over since the graphical fidelity of PS is much higher and they care about the effects looking good, so you'd end up having to put a lot of resources into a bunch of different trees and different ways they can be cut down / explode / made get out of the way. Then you'd have to make sure the trees are serverside and accurately presented in the same exact way to every single player and you can probably see how a feature like that while simple on paper would take some effort to pull off.
I got banned from the lone remaining german/english server because i dont speak german. Thats really great for a dying game after ive spent 940 hours on it

The sound design blows HLL out of the water. I like HLL and don't mean to start debates but COME ON LETS GO

WW2 games are doomed to be niche, specially ones that try to be hardcore or somewhat realistic. It just is what it is.

Well it has come back after being purchased by off world industries the same people who made squad and they are due to announce a 2024 roadmap soon

What shells were used in general? 1 type or did you mix depending on the target?
HE for infantry in general and we tried APHE for tanks but that's very hard to hit. APHE for trucks and MSP or AT guns even works well though!
