Awesome video.. 👍
Man what an awesome video. FL is so badass!!
Thanks you I love Florida it's such a great place to fish
That’s awesome 👏 👍
Amazing!
Thanks!
Can you do a tour of that Jon boat it looks sweet
Awesome vid. Small j-boat. Need 12-15” of 60 blood knotted on 30.
Won’t hurt the bites. Fray off less. Able to put the wood to em. A 6’6” jigging rod will lift more. You guys are the best.
Yes I agree but it does seem like the permit and other fish can be a bit more line shy... hard for me to find a solid spinning rod for this exact purpose any recommendations? We caught 4-15 permit a day as well in other spots on spoons. Appreciate the comment
Great video
Thanks!
Hey Eric what color spoons were most productive. I’m heading down to Marathon in 2 weeks and would like to place an order. Thanks
The green and white chartreuse and white and pink and white all with U/V tape 1/2 ounce and 3/8 great from shore and in the boat at times the 1 ounce worked great best of luck
That was a good half day.
It was nuts
Slowly making your way to Florida 😂
Do you remember if there were any lures tangled in those power lines LOL
lol oh yes everywhere
Yeah, I lost a bunch of spoons doing that technique last week on skyway bridge to spanish mackerel. They would only bite it with light leader and steel leader they wouldn’t touch it. Frustrating
Try 30-40 lb fluro and after you catch one retie your bait. We caught tons of Mack's this way mainly with a 1/2-1 ounce spoon
This guy's got balls or steel
lol.... appreciate it man
You can keep the tarpon. Nothing but a sore arm and no food on the table. 🤣
We caught tons of fish to eat 3-5 lb Mangrooves on spoons Cobia, yellow tail, yellow jacks, permit etc.... Tarpon are just fun to catch or hook
Why catch a salmon when you can catch a snapper....😂
Exactly and the weather is so Perfect in February!
