Well what's your opinion on the Trika rods? Been thinking of getting a 6-9 ML XF and am deciding between the Trika 6x a nd the St.Croix Legend Elite. Going to have to come down and try for trout thru the ice.

Oh yeah Eric nice to see you back on some browns, do you cure your brown trout eggs with pro cure? And does pro cure work for browns? Or just steelhead? Or both?
Nope rarely cure my eggs for trout and if I do I use just a small amount of pink pro cure.

Would you have caught them without live scope?
Great question because there's so many fish would never have caught without Livescope. However if I was trolling the shorelines I'm pretty certain we would have whacked them and been able to hoan in on certain areas where they tend to school up. Then go back to those areas and fan cast. That's how we used to do along with side imaging spotting fish on either side of the boat then cast to the fish we see on side imaging. I've made my living catching fish well before livescope. It's a tool that enhances your ability to catch more. Kinda like a Vexilar when they first came out people were agitating them many years ago saying it was cheating ..... thanks for the comment
