Honestly this in contrast makes my anytime fitness membership looks overpriced because of how little anemities and services they provide compared to Virgin Active
I feel a tad dumb cause I paid full price, but meh as a newbie that's low-key scared of some gyms, VA still has been a great stepping stone for me so far. Plus I feel what really makes VA worth it is the classes. Daily classes range from yoga, spin, boxing, zumba, HIIT, pilates, and water aerobics. Like personally just the classes for $67 per week is quite 'worth' (since if you go for 3 workout per week then 3 classes, vice versa) but idk if that's me being copium lol Plus quite a few areas to remote work at too. It's pricey but meh I just saw it as a treat for myself.
@@Dargoyaki 😅 Haha, I actually started following you recently. I discovered you through your NUS videos, as I’m interested in applying to NUS. Rn I’m actually watching one of your videos on Hall Life 😁
This is a great video! I was a member for Virgin Active as I was working in Marina One. They gave those who work there a discount. Btw the fees were more expensive and due to the number of locations, i went for Fitness First after this. But now im back at Virgin Active. They offer 7 days trial classes too in case anyone wants try.
The only reason why this gym is worth it. The Recovery Zones & Amenities I literally use the ice bath almost every week and almost every afternoon with the nap chair 🤣
Hey there dargo! Another fellow fitness enthusiast here! Just to clarify, I don't think we are meant to use the massage gun in that way, rather, we should exert little to no pressure to drive the gun into our targetted muscle! That's just from my experience and knowledge!
Though i could not see myself subscribing $300/month for a premium gym. I would appreciate the exclusivity of amenities, lesser crowds, spacious workout area and a “private” swimming pool
Absolutely not cheapskate, you can still get a perfect training session, public gyms equipment are good enough if you know what to do, don't need those frills, which you won't be using when the noverty diminished, very realistic and practical choice, I'm in the industry for more than two decades, so I'm not bullshitting😂
Yeap, I feel for someplace like VA you pay more for that privacy and the amenities (which are really dope), but if you don't need any of that more affordable gyms might be enough
@@Dargoyaki definitely not the least packed gym you can find.... which is good also that means the business is sustainable... please go at 6-8pm to know what I am talking about ,... u go there in the middle of the day obviously it is not packed
Insane coverage. Love the camera shots of the facilities
thanks man we try our best

Well 90 per month is a decent price ngl but I guess it depends on the outlet as well?
Well the biggest pro of AF is convenience, and to some that trumps all, I guess to each it's own.
AF wins with having lotsa locations!
Really? you going to work out.. what amenities and services you need? This cost over 300 a month...how much does Anytime cost a month?
Eh, I think AF have more bodybuilding machines. This video didn't show much iso Lateral plate loaded machines.

Nah I don’t think it’s copium if you’re going pretty much 3-5 times a week, there’s just so many amenities you can use
My fav NUS passout is back with another video 🔥
Siala NUS was like 2 years ago 😅

Huh it seems you might be right, means the person that taught me might’ve been wrong 🧐
@@Dargoyaki HAHA it's cool, we are all learning 🙏🙏
@2:41 Can't interpret if dargo was breathless, moaning or both
For me to know for you to find out
the way I was already stunned by how a boujee gym in Malaysia charges RM 350. SGD300 is INSANE 😂
I wonder what’s the most boujee gym in Malaysia
@@DargoyakiBabel Fitness
What? 300sgd and the heaviest dumbbells are 50kg only and they use the same brand as the one Fitness First has been using for decades? 😅
Is the brand not good compared to other brands
Can’t see the relationship between expensive city and growing priority of health and fitness
Loved your content btw are you looking for video editor?
I go to BFT, but awesome vid, didn't know gyms can be this cool.
Damn that auto belay system makes rock climbing so enjoyable and looks fun to just climb without a worry.
Must say the first leap of faith was quite scary though 😂

my active sg oso have swimming pool 😂
4:16😂 The sound is funny hahaha
Actually there's a gym that was more expensive,$600 a month ,very close to VA, but closed a couple of months back
with that monetisation it would make sense why it closed, that is EXPENSIVE 💀
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Wow not gonna lie this vid making me regret my gym choices never knew VA was cool like that
VA do be poppin
Totally worth it
The babel fit of Singapore😂
bros boujee pronunciation irks me
It annoys me too
$300 still the upper range, not the most expensive. haha. There's Sphere and Arctic.
Ooh, defo gonna check those out
@@Dargoyaki Yes! we need a review for both of them :D
How’s your gym journey going now?
I've gained back everything buahaha
Does anyone know of they offer day passes for tourists?
Doesn’t seem like it

There’s a steam room for the Tanjong Pagar outlet
@7:58 hope you find some sponsors for new socks :) :)

With sleep pod and free clothes, what if I just live there? lol
6-8pm is quite packed

This is not the most expensive gym memberships. You obviously have not checked out the boutique gyms which only teaches you one thing only.
