- Where are all my COGIC folks? The 85th Holy Convocation, Church of God in Christ (11.6.1992) Midnight Musical! The back story to everyone else, my Dad would go to Memphis EVERY year and videotape the National Convocation, held at Mason Tempe COGIC until their policies changed on "no videotaping."
For those of you that know all about this. This is so on point on how those musical would go. In this footage is Richard White (Mr. Clean), remember him? He and the Clark sisters (with Mattie Moss Clark), doing their thing! ...
I remember growing up, I couldn't wait to go to see all the singers and let's not forget the coffee shop and going to breakfast AFTER the midnight musical, I felt so grown-up back then being able to stay out late. hahahaha. We had so much fun! We would stay with our Memphis family, attend all the services together, and see people from all across the country. Mr. Clean leading the song, (“God is not through blessing you”).

I was there. Mr Clean and Twinkie was amazing that night. The Clark’s sisters tore it up too.

Those were the good Ole days in Cogic. We had produced much and had church. Seem like now, we're full of idolatry, commercial and producing nothing. Lord restore us and take us further in tyne Holy Ghost.

I also want to add at 5:30 I love how they all know how to come together and sound just like strings of beautiful instruments. They don't sing over each other, I've never witness that with them they sing TOGETHER. Mattie and Twinkie taught them well. God it is you that receives the glory

Never ceases to amaze me how much of a blessing to the Kingdom the Clark Sisters truly are!!!!! I pray God’s continued blessings grace and favor for you and your family in Jesus name!!!!!
For all the people that likes to sleep on Dorinda's vocals needs to find these vintage Dorinda clips!!! Beauty, gifted, and anointed God took his time with the Rose. lol All of Mattie's girls were/are vocal sensations!!!!! Love Twinkie's strong voice and growls. I used to think she had THEE best voice out of the group. She always knew when to give and when to take it away. She never over did it. She would give just enough. And no one needs to mentions KCS that's a given.
Don’t forget Mrs Jacky!!!
My God is miss this Twinkie! Look at Karen..Not knowing she would one day become the First Lady of the National Church.
Why did they change their video recording policy?
I mean DCC been hijacking people songs and showing out since the start
