I can feel the anointing on this video
Jonathan can you find the unique for a Twinkie song give him the glory give him the praise the whole selection from beginning to end
Mannnn People just don't realize how Twinkie revolutionized music in this church. Twinkie crafted the "cogic sound"as we know it! THE GOAT!!! ❤❤❤
DR CLARK WAS NO JOKE 😢MAN I MISS HER … we need her in todays choirs ! 🙌🏽 ❤
Most people wouldn’t be able to take someone like her today
@@averythomas7919Exactly. Especially when she used to get upset at musicians ( including Twinkie) and choir members that didn't sound like how they should. Mattie from a generation where most choir directors had the same passion like Dr Clark did.
Oh no you don't really want a Dr Clark in this generation!!! She would be on every social media blog and news outlets you can think of lols. Dr Clark was no joke in business and ministry🫶🏾
So who did it best Karan or Carla Taylor? ruclips.net/video/bAeAgUojra8/видео.html&ab_channel=skinzfan
She’d call out them sissies and fornicating choir members left and right
I love when Twinkie smile when dr Clark catches the spirit ! ❤️
Lord do it again in this 115th Holy convocation God take us back to church like this ‼️
Karen's ring is blinging! 😍💍 This was the year she and Bishop were married! Almost 40 years ago, and they're still going strong! 💪🏽❤🤞🏽Praise God! 🙌🏼✝️🙏🏼 I love them so much! ❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰🦄💚
It's Twinkie singing and playing
Twinkie killed this
I’m at work watching and I feel like spinning around and running 🤦🏽♂️
Dr Clark was 61 years old ❤❤❤
No, she wasn't 60 yet she was 59 years old. Born 1925.
I'm so drained in my body and didn't know I needed to hear Revive us again. Thanks for posting
You're welcome I'm praying for you
@@JonathanDesVerney do you happen to have Dr Clark and directing the choir as they sing Jesus Forevermore?
The old videos are the best
Twinkies’ playing made Karen have to sing with so much color!
It's Twinkie singing not KCS
@@wthomas2284 That's Karen on "Endow Me"
@@wthomas2284In the video it’s definitely Karen singing the first song, “Endow Me” while Twinkie is playing.
They was going to sit and be grand but that spirit Dr. Clark’s be choir ushered in there said not so. 😂😂😂
16:16- My GAWD!!! That organ my goodness.

They should put this on a cd! This is power
Let us lay aside every sin and every weight that so easily beset us and run this race with patience..🙌👐 Praise God! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙏🏾
Oh they could’ve went straight into the altar call after that 2nd selection !!! My God that was straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 🙌🏾 my God from glory
Twinkie was 32 years old on this clip ! ❤❤❤
She was 29
Twinkie was born in 1954. She's 1 year older than my mom. Baby Karen was born in 1960 on the same day as Twinkie. If it wasn't November 15th yet, "The Queen of the B3 Hammond" was 29 going on 30, and Karen was 23 going on 24 that year.
Laaawwwwdddd... Wow! I’ve never heard “endow me” sung like that before! Thank you lord!💯🫶🏾♥️
This version of Endow ME is the original way it was recorded. This is my favorite Clark Sisters song, and my favorite version of this song. #feeltheanointing 🙌🏽
Purest form!
@@yvette3432❤❤❤🎉 15:53
@@yvette3432 this isn't the originally way that it was recorded. This is the originally way that it was sang live. The arrangement on the original version is that of a rb love song...note the sax and the sexy way that Twinkie played the piano...
Wow!! Dr. Clark, Twinkie, First Lady Karen Clark Sheard, Professor Iris Stevenson McCullough, Rev James Moore…. IMD legends!! ♥️
The Sanctified Choir Musicals 🎶❤️🙏👍Sing Choir, Go Karen, Twinkie and Mattie Moss Clark 🎉

This has blessed me tonight! Praise God! Endow Me Lord! 🙌🏼🙏🏼🛐👏🏼🔥🙇🏽♀️
I love this family, and the Church of God in Christ! ❤❤❤✝️✝️✝️
Mattie worked Twinkie to the bone.
SAD BUT TRUE. A LIVING MIRACLE.
Mattie worked everyone to the bone. 😂Ask any of choir members or musicians at the time.
@@keepingitrealandtruthful.5081 NO. SHE DID NOT. THE OTHER SISTERS HAVE SAID SO. TWINKIE WAS THE CREATIVE ENGINE THAT DROVE THE SHIP. TWINKIE COULD READ/WRITE MUSIC AND PLAY THE ORGAN/PIANO. THE OTHERS COULDN'T. SHE'S THE ONLY ONE WITH A FORMAL MUSIC EDUCATION. MATTIE TOOK HER ON THE ROAD TO CHURCHES ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. SHE HAD TO REHEARSE CHOIRS, WRITE SONGS FOR THE GROUP AND THEN GO TO THE STUDIO. SHE HAD NO SOCIAL LIFE. IT'S NOT A COINCIDENCE SHE WAS THE LAST TO MARRY AND HAVE CHILDREN.
@@lexgraham2118 I guess you don't know that Dr Clark was known for long rehearsals Lol. Now all of that information you have put out most of us already know. A shame that Twinkie didn't complete her education at Howard university, the same university where Donald Vails and Richard Smallwood also attended. Another fun fact is that Donald Vails stayed in Dr Clark's house when he moved to Detriot.
@@lexgraham2118 Yes Dr Clark was a perfectionist, she wanted nothing but excellence from the choir and the band. When Twinkie got married and had son, she was practically free from her mom, but I guess looking back now that all of that hard work has paid off.
Jonathan we love you and thank you for your constant work❤
I think this was the year they used the same organ that's in pentecostal temple insistutional COGIC.
I saw Denise In Soprano section
She, was still active doing this time. the sad part 1985 she leaves Group never Sings again with Them .
Where did see Denise at like what time stamp
When church was CHURCH!!❤ Saints, we've gotta go back to the Old Landmark( oldtime religion)!!
Jonathan I think you need to show all of these people that was at Sandra crouch funeral bring back to their remembrance Dr Mattie Moss Clark what she can do on such short notice and how she demanded a excellence that's above the bar!!!!!! Since everyone is mad at me for saying the music quality was not good please go back and show them Joyce Rogers memorial and how the choir song under the direction of Myron Williams and they only had one rehearsal and how they sound. And how this choir sound they only had 30 or 40 minutes to an hour to learn 3 or 4 songs in the morning so they could sing late at night 3 or 4 selections this is what happened when you have a director or music president that demands excellence peace in the words of Dr Mattie Moss Clark I know I got that right 👍👍👍👍
So I guess everyone has seen the clips on Instagram about Dr Mattie Moss Clark she demands excellence she demands Holiness she demands sanctification and she demands the anointing with with authority
I know I got that right
This is RICH!!!
I look and listen well emotions come forth. So many have gone on and thankful that we are still here. The Church will remain.
Sing Karen!!

I like the song
Nobody like Dr Mattie Moss Clark
You got that right !!, my favorite female choir directress
She set the bar she is the bar I help take care of her for the last years of her life
Karen was 26 years old here 😢 🙌🏽 ❤
Karen was 24
I see the late Bishop Charlie Brewer behind the podium. Or at least he looks like him.
Yes! I recognize his voice
Can you upload the song all of thy ways 1979 Cleveland Ohio Mattie moss Clark solist: Karen clark
It just bothers me to see the clergy sit there and show no expression, no worship, and no adoration to the Lord when the ministry of music is going forth. Do they realize that their apathetic attitude can hinder the flow of the Spirit of God? If you're not going to show forth the praises of God, stay at home!! I commend Karen and Dr. CLARK for not paying attention to their faces. This discouraging attitude took place back then, and it's still prevalent in the churches today. God help all of us.❤😊❤❤
The Clark Sisters faced a lot of jealousy because they were progressive women who came a progressive woman for the lord.
It was mainly the GB sitting down. If the PB was stand I'm sure the others would be especially Bishop Ford.
Is that’s bishop Charles Brewer presiding the service?
I hate it when they do that yes stuff, especially during deliverance they used to do that in my jurisdiction but since the old ones have passed on they don't do that anymore sometimes the spirit is so high the bishop want even preach
Did Bishop Patterson
Did Bishop Patterson preach
No Bishop Roger Jones preach
Dr.Clark was mean! I don't know what you talking about! LoL
I love Karen, but this wasn't it
