Gentlemen: The good news is that we are only making 50 of these. Bad news, we have to finish them all today, so get on with it! As the Brits would say, those hands are a shocker at that price. But one thing that really stood out to me that you didn't mention is the AR coating, or lack of it. It was especially noticeable when you could see it compared to the watch you were wearing. by the way, what is that beautiful grey Delugs strap you have on? Great episode Xavier!
Right very surprised when I put this guy under macro! In person the AR or possible lack of it honestly wasn’t noticeable. I think the video dramatized how reflective it is. And the delugs is linked in the description! Nice strap and pair perfectly with the Sartory I think. Thanks for watching as always Michael 🙏🏻
Great review! Beautiful timepiece. At this price point however I think we are expecting more. Although dial is beautiful business side is on the other side. Thank you 🙏
Wow, just wow. What a simply and beautifully crafted watch. I'm frankly blown away by it. You've got one helluva friend! I do respect your honesty and straight forwardness, though. I can only dream how well it would wear at 39 or 40mm. Would I buy one? No, but if your friend wants to swap watches for a week or two, I'm all in! Haha
Ya he’s a cool guy for sure! Glad you liked it Matthew. This one was slightly hard to give back especially since my collection is missing something green at the moment!
I own several H.M.Cie. I NEVER had taken possession with these type of flaws. How did this watch pass quality control. If this was mine it would be going back to the factory!
Thanks for the video. Many great points! I noticed the heavy paint speckling (fume) first on the green streamliner. Not a fan up close but looks great from afar. Also, the hand finishing is terrible like you said considering price. I’ve tried on almost their entire collection and agree they all seem to fit smaller wrists. Interesting brand and some very cool/quirky timepieces being made but Im not sure I’m ready to jump into buying one though.
Very fair. I do love moser for what they put out but there’s not one piece yet I’m dying to have. Having seen the streamliner chrono in person that’s high up on the list to be fair though!
This is a curious watch. And the case, those cutouts, I've seen Patek Phillipe do that on several Calatrava models and I like that about it. But the curious part is the semi-concept dial, I don't know what Moser calls it. It's like they simplified it too much, the month indicator points to nothing, so at a glance until you get used to it the best you can get is what quarter it is. Anyways, this is why I love your reviews, until your last two Moser reviews, my 'attainable' grail _was_ a Moser. It is no longer. That's the latitude you get when you review a watch that wasn't sent to you by the brand and that you won't excuse because you paid $60,000 for it, not that you would anyways. That is a valuable review so thank you.
Very true. Is is very very simplified. I don’t mind it, especially since I wonder how many people are actually using a perpetual calendar as intended. It’s almost moser in the way of saying f you we made an amazing perpetual but also you can’t really read it that well 😂. And I agree. Moser was much higher on my projected wants before actually handling them in the metal. I still love the brand and, I’ll own one at some point, but I’ll have to check the handset before I buy 😉
I much prefer the original Perpetual 1. After Meylan took over Moser, I have lost my interest to them gradually. Oversimplified dials, questionably modified movements (HMC 808, HMC 902) are really not my things.

Moser owner here, and this is maybe the best Moser review I've seen. Very fair, balanced and well thought out. I think you nailed it!
Very kind words thank you. Hope you are enjoying yours! They make some great pieces

@@theknightswatch No green?? I have no doubt you'll remedy that soon!
Please make a video about your sartory billard too.
Yep I’ll review it in a week or two!

Great review. I really appreciate your audio and how clearly you talk. Instant sub 👍
Really appreciate it, thank you for watching!
Extremely beautiful watch

@@theknightswatch the gold aventurine perpetual moon was my favorite by far. I think you’d like it! Stunning dial

Amazingly beautiful watch. Until you mentioned the price. 😮
55K. What kind of friends do you have?!
I have paid 30 k for my moser green line just to find out it’s a movements so loud as if it’s 400 euro

Fair points, appreciate the thoughts
The dial is too busy, I would rather go for the simpler Richard Mille Regatta RM 60-01.
