An X in your tabs simply means a plain mute.
Mute your strings and strum. You can alter the way your mute sounds by hitting different strings or moving your left hand around your fretboard as you mute your strings.

@121Guns The distortion doesn't make (a lot of) difference. Your tone (treble) does.
So try to keep the treble down. (idk what kind of amp you got, so it might be that you've "high and low". If so, try to keep the "high" down)

use ure first finger on the 6th fret and almost bar the next 1 but just 2 mute it and strum all though and wat ever fingers easiest for 8 th fret i think 3rd finger
