Crazy story, but the algorithm is real. Few months ago I acquired a Jag fry from my LFS. It was a single fry they uncovered had nowhere to dedicate a tank so they threw it in with feeder guppies I was buying for a low budget palladium. That said I didn't know much, suffered RUclips, only found some young kids an 1- 2 vids from palmer.
I'm a sub an been for some time and your video didn't come up. Here I am months later this randomly comes up in the queue
Ty for your knowledge there's not much out there

I'm sure King and Queen ... could do a million videos on proper care; but frankly, even 'that' would be followed
    up with questions.
Jaguars are in my Top-5 too. They are truly beautiful fish. Keep their water super clean and water-change until you're sick-of-it ! Vary their diet - this is big-time-important for quick growth,
for realizing potential size, for their truly beautiful coloring, for his/her happiness, AND - it may-well save both you and whoever else the heartache and the pain of psychosis.
Anything in the tank with them - dies.
Fish, heaters, plastic-plants, logs, rocks, cords, tubing, thermometers, gravel, the-sides,of-the-tank, - and - ANYTHING that enters THEIR water.
My mommy jag had her own tank.
One day, I just wanted to clean the gravel a-little. 😐 Everything was OK at first. Then, - it felt like kind-of-a
    powerful/numb electric bolt or charge.
The underside of my left forearm.
UMM, - yeah, they have teeth. And they're powerful little bastards.
    These fish are extremely territorial.
And when they are tending a brood of little ones, - normal pshchopathy 🥺 becomes serious ☠.
Truly a gorgeous fish though. And they really do make true pets. They recognize you. And I have one that completely clears the water - leaping out for a fist-full of earth worms (not from an aquarium).
I really like these guys (the King and Queen people) - they really love their pets, and they take good care of them.
    Thanks so much you guys.

Hi guy's love your channel. So much I got rid of all my African Cichlids and finally found a really healthy looking Jaguar. He is about 9 inches at the moment and has a 100 gallon tank to himself. There is no traffic by his tank except myself and wife when we come downstairs to do laundry. I brought him home this past Saturday Jan 25th. Temperature acclimated him for about 2 hrs and slowly dripped his water with my my tank water to equalize the pH. He has a real nice cave to hang out in and does so. Trouble is he hasn't eaten in 2 days. I tried some Northfin Cichlid pellets 3mm and yesterday some frozen Krill. How long would you figure this fella might need to feel at ease and begin eating.

Just got a new sub. I work with fish and try to change people over from the wannabe cichlids aka African cichlids to the real cichlids....New world cichlids.
I'm setting up a a 7ft*3ft*3ft and my little 2 inch jag got delivered last night 😅.
In my real cichlid tank, I'm adding the following. 2x Oscar's, 4x Urau's, 1x JD, 2x Green terrors, 4x Red horse face geos, 2x firemouths, 2x blood parrots, 1x green Serverum and some talking cats 😁.
The filtration is 2x fx 5 (second hand) and a 5ft sump

ALT KNIGHT dude I try to convert people to real cichlids aka pure breeds from terrible hybrid abortions like blood parrots and flowerwhores. Also please don't mix fish like uaru and severum with what you mentioned. A lot of geos can't hang either

Thanks, that's what I've been doing, I have him in a 40 breeder right now but will be upgrading to at least a 75, hopefully a 125. I've been feeding Omega one cichlid pellets and frozen krill and he's gotten much bigger and nicer colors, thanks.
