And so, you leave the ground and to another, altogether experience that thrills and is totally addictive. Love that engine noise, that uplift as you soar above those clouds. Totally magic and wonderful human technology. Loved every moment of my flying years.
That noise in the beginning around 00:30 was a 777 starting up. Videos don't do justice but I can tell you that noise vibrates the ground and is SUPER loud. Beauts.
Ive watched the PHX-LHR about 30 times, and now i've found this one. =) I go LHR-PHX in 28 days time, but not in seat 64k (it was already booked) I can't wait. Until then i can watch this video another 20-odd times. ha.
BA used to fly a 777-200 on the Phoenix-London route, but since maybe 2005 they upgraded to a 747-400 and its been filled to BAs satisfaction, they are adding a 787 flight later in the year. . PHX is too close to LAX to have any Pacific routes (other than Hawaii) I don't know of any flights to other cities in Europe. SLC has KLM and Delta to Amsterdam, Delta to Paris. Denver is another city with 787 service to European cities as well as Tokyo. The city is. Adding a new terminal to Terminal 4, how many gates I don't kniw, but you can assume that a few of those gates are able to handle a 380 as well as a 747 with double or triple jetways. LAS has excellent service to Europe.
RetardedComments they don’t look better than the Queen. The Queen of the Skies is the most elegant and beautiful plane to grace the skies. It’s safe, reliable, forgiving, noble, and graceful plane, and according to many 747 pilots I’ve spoken too, it’s ridiculously easy to fly.
RetardedComments well if you say the 787 and A350 are better looking, boy were you born recently that you weren’t able to see the peak of the Queen of the Skies 747, Concorde, L1011, DC-10, MD-11, etc.
Fantastic! I watched the video because I was interested in gate B25, which I will use with an AA A330. Is it considerably larger than the other gates? Thanks!
B-23, and B-25 are the two primary international widebody capable gates at Skyharbor's Terminal 4. B-25 is where BA go, except in rare cases with IRROPS, when two flights are on the ground at the same time, then they use B-23 too.
as usually....great report!....great quality of view!!!!!!!.....................in a word.........awesome and fantastic!!!!!!! keep going MR ZUHAIR..............BEST WISHES FOR 2017!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This City pair would be a good candidate for the 787 and 2 flights a day depending on slot issues at the London end. A 380 or twice a day triple 7. Might be to many seats for the demand. I've generally found better deals Las- to London's airports, even LAX- London, which includes the regional CRJ or EMB to LAS and LAX. At one point a connection at SEA to then fly to Dubai connecting at Dubai to a Sydney flight was less than $800 US, much less than the United, Delta, Qantas, or Virgin Australia $1400 on up, fares. The trouble is it's a 32-hour trip with all the stopover times. If I were in my 20's I'd do it for the fun of it. You
Sky Harbor is not large enough to accommodate an A380. The two flights that now operate between LHR and PHX are both 747-400's. I would prefer to see a 787 or 777-200 or 300 though.
First Galactic Empire I believe that's exactly what I wrote. I think you mean Sky Harbor does not have the demand needed to utilize a A380. The airport is massive, Big isn't a problem. There is room for three more large terminals and a couple of maintainence facilities. PHX, DEN, LAS all have similar boarding numbers 35-40 million.what they aren't are coastal airports ala SEA and LAX, SFO. Smaller boarding totals can be found in A380 using airports Melbourne, Brisbane. I m willing to wager at least two of the three will have A380 flights inside 5 years as new city pairs must be found for the super jumbo or a significant number will be parked
Sky Harbor is definitely big enough to accommodate an A380, its a huge international airport. I just don't think the demand is there. Most flights to Europe go into LAX instead of PHX. It would be awesome though to see an A380 flying out of my hometown airport, Sky Harbor
why in the world would you have to fly all the way north into Greenland? Makes no sense, why wouldn't they fly a straight shot? The globe ball earth doesn't make sense when looking at flight paths
Just back from Phoenix to London Heathrow and not impressed by the age of the aircraft and the lack of anyone at BA doing anything about addressing the comments online. I was shocked at how small the screens were for the IFE (about 4 - 5 inches across, very basic interactivity). The 'remote' does not detach from the armrest and so my snuggly/closeforcomfort cabin mate kept changing my outbound viewing when he fell asleep. On the way back, it was the exact same plane and yet this time my bad luck led me to find that my headphone jack was broken (seat 50A) and I had no access to the IFE at all because of the screeching hissing sound from the headphones (mine AND theirs). No spare seats and therefore a big fat lonely / boring ten hour journey. I slept which actually did me the world of good but why should I not have received the same service as everyone else in economy given we all pay the same. BA, this plane needs to be updated or retired ASAP. The price we pay for tickets in economy is of as much value as those in premium and first. Customer service is paramount or you'll lose customers. I'm not in any rush to fly BA again after this.
I can get over how EPIC those RB-211s sound on takeoff! Most beautiful sound in the world!

You can't say it was a 777, you don't really know
@@9ercs Bullshit! People who know what these engines sound like, can recognize them, either from inside or outside. Stop trolling!!
I love those uber swept wings with those RB211 engines!

The current aircraft for British Airways from London to Phoenix is an Airbus A350-XWB. As of now.
747 is the most beautiful plane ever
victor 003 A350 and 787 looks better in my opinion
RetardedComments they look disgusting. The 747 the most elegant and most graceful
Jay Deshpande nah

We all choose 64K ahah, nice video thanks for sharing!
Personally I always choose 64K since it has direct aisle access and a fantastic view of the wing and engines. More to come soon!
I watched the other PHX video as well and I must say they are very entertaining! Seemed like a great flight.
Thank you very much! Stay tuned, there is a lot more coming soon!
Fantastic! I watched the video because I was interested in gate B25, which I will use with an AA A330. Is it considerably larger than the other gates? Thanks!
Yes I believe so because BA uses only gate B25

Jakeツ hi jake
good video
I'm sorry you had to go to Phoenix. :-)
This was a flight from London's Heathrow to a U.S. city that was named by a 19th-Century immigrant from Great Britain, Darrell Duppa!
you had to ride backwards?

Tim Daugherty same
Tim Daugherty although at Easter time I go to Spain in buissness class
I remember thirty-five or forty years ago, flying in *ANY* commercial jetliner, first-class or coach, was considered a luxury.
What kind of camera was used?
iPhone 6S
do you know where you live
I wonder if BA business class will keep that thing of sitting opposite a stranger's face.
I am from endliwhat a good place to go phonex az. Yes .😊😊😊😊
