He killed a handicapped man that happened to be severely injured in a car accident. The store clerk still chose to work, despite having a crippling disability, which made him much slower than most able bodied citizens. Still, the cold hearted criminal shot the dude dead in a robbery that just netted a puny $400 bucks. Deals get made and this killer actually thought he would be spared death. Maybe he believed that disabled people are worthless, but since he was a strong and healthy man, he would be allowed to live. He was definitely dead wrong. This case is extremely interesting.☠
I’m disabled and I can’t stand it when people think that handicaps are worthless and that we should be dead there are people that think that it would be better if I was dead so I won’t have to suffer yea I hate suffering with chronic pain but I want to live and I deserve to live like everyone else

The cops involved in Rodney King's beating should've been charged with attempted murder. Depends on the situation, but generally cops should NOT get a special pass to kill.

My husband's nephew's wife was shot and killed while she was working in small store in Florida. The guy who shot her had just been let out of jail, and the first thing he did was get a gun and robbed the store she was working in for a measly $50. She left behind two children 12 and 8 years old, a husband and little boy they were trying to adopt.

Merry Christmas, Lamont! I just wrote a shortened post on Facebook about an elderly couple that was murdered locally back in 1930. I uncovered their lost graves and found their story. Even found the murderer’s death certificate where he was put to death at the local state prison!

Like I said it’s sad when someone gets their life taken and robbed from stupid people. Thank you Lamont it just shows people don’t think before they do. I just want everyone to know that this beautiful blue ball we share we are all family we at some point are related to one another. Just love each other, help each other, stand up for each other. I was once against the death penalty, now I cannot support it enough. That judge both served adequate justice AND saved some lives in his actions towards this MONSTER. He knew what stood before him and knew that others out there would unknowingly fall victim to this "thing" unless he put a stop to it once and for all. Just look at how our society is crumbling before our eyes with both prosecutors and judges either refusing to prosecute and or execute their offices to the fullest extent of the law! Lawlessness and mayhem are now the norm in almost every major city across the land and spreading like an uncontrollable cancer consuming its host! We simply cannot go on like this. We would be in a far better SAFER place with more people like this man, a hero as far as I'm concerned, behind the bench. Thanks again, Lamont.
Yea. Its a tragedy im with you though dont kill if you dont wanna be executed. Regardless of what the prosecutor told him. He should've known it was still capital murder and that he could still be executed. And it really does matter what kind of judge u get. Some just don't play that shit and will gladly hand that death sentence down with no second thought about it. In my opinion he deserved it. That store clerk didn't have to die.

You can see by the condition of his headstone that no one is missing him. I hope his partners in crime received long sentences if not life. This seems to be one of the few times the judicial system worked .

Working in law enforcement for 29years in the Commonwealth of Virginia i have seen our judges do things exactly like this many times. People don't realize the power judges have in these cases. The options at their disposal are astounding. Thank God you like me, am a proponent of the death penalty, I think it is not used often enough. I have dealt with many of these criminals and "No" they are not rehabilitative at all. They go in prison,get out of prison and repeat many times until they do the unthinkable or a judge puts them away for life because he knows they will never change. Lately older women and older men have been being murdered for their purses and wallets and sometimes their cars the people doing this to them they said it's just easier. If the criminals would just ask them many will just give it to them in the first place. I moonlighted at a convenience store in Virginia not far from Portsmith and we never kept over 30 bucks in the cash registers. All 10's and 20's got dropped right into a safe and we only kept 30 bucks in one's and five's. I don't know why a convenience store would have that much in the drawer, that's stupid.
This murder happened in 1991. Were safes in regular use back then?
@@vitaAutLetum I was in the Navy and moonlighted at a 7-11 in Virginia Beach in 1990. The safe system was very simple, all money over a 5 dollar bill got put in a little numbered envelope and dropped into a safe that had a time lock on it. We wrote down the amount of each drop on a little drop sheet. If we needed change we pushed a button on the safe and 15 dollars in ones or fives would drop out but you had to wait three mins for another change drop. The system was very simple. After working there I wondered why anyone would rob a convenience store because the cash we had on hand was so small. Also, cops came in and out of ours all the time because we gave them free coffee and let them use our landline phone (this was before cell phones). If anyone ever did rob a 7-11, it would have been very stupid.

Another sad, sad story, RIP to the victims x I have to comment at how there's a graveyard apparently in the middle of a residential area, I've never seen that before. In the UK we have cemeteries in residential areas but they're usually in church yards or very defined areas with a lot of railings and space between houses. Interesting x

The ironic part is Jim Gilmore whom at the time of the murder, was the attorney general fighting to prosecute Johnile,7 years Later..Jim Gilmore was also the one that DENIED him a stay of execution…Johnile Dubois, GOT WHAT HE DESERVED!! RIP Phillip C Council! Johnile NEVER even apologized to Phillips family!

I am a supporter of the death penalty.... but I think the burden of proof needs to be greater than normal. If we're going to give someone death, I want to know 100% they are guilty, not just guilty beyond reasonable doubt

I just came across this video. My grandfather was stabbed 26 times in the face chest and back by a renter of his who didn't want to pay rent. The guy was sentence to death. But because the state changed the law he was put in prison for life. Now this guy is having conjugal visits from his wife but my siblings and cousins don't have our grandfather because of this lazy man who didn't want to pay rent. After he was convicted his wife and kids burned down my grandfather's house. How is that justice for my family. I also feel if you take a life I feel you should lose your right to live. I know people will disagree with me but what me and my family went through. I know we all feel the same way.
