@@outtour2525 The Doctor : Between you and me, in a hundred words, where do you think Van Gogh rates in the history of art? Curator : Well... um... big question, but, to me Van Gogh is the finest painter of them all. Certainly the most popular, great painter of all time. The most beloved, his command of colour most magnificent. He transformed the pain of his tormented life into ecstatic beauty. Pain is easy to portray, but to use your passion and pain to portray the ecstasy and joy and magnificence of our world, no one had ever done it before. Perhaps no one ever will again. To my mind, that strange, wild man who roamed the fields of Provence was not only the world's greatest artist, but also one of the greatest men who ever lived.
@@VanGoghMuseum Well, I'll answer for myself. My favourite painting is the one with his palette! Is the palette displayed in the museum actually van Gogh's?? How amazing!!!
It is a kind of consolation that van Gogh Museum exists. It is a homage paid for one of the greatest artists. It is an honour for humanity. Thank you so much. Thank you Theo's dear son for starting this endeavour...
@@rhogh Yes, of course. But if you haven't already seen them, I recommend the talks on van Gogh at Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, from four years ago. They have a few detailed presentations on Vincent, his paintings, techniques and after Vincent. All are excellent. Best wishes.
Thank you. For those who have never been to this incredible museum, I highly recommend you put this museum on your bucket list after we are able to travel again to Europe. This a truly exceptional museum and you have to see it in person.
The seven Video of which this Series is comprised are among the most wonderful gifts you have shared with us all. Van Gogh Museum, I simply can't find the words to thank you enough !
Great footage, make me what to visit in person. Thanks for sharing it with the world and make it accessable to everyone. Very inspiring video. Love it.
Great videos! Not sure about others but I think it is fascinating seeing the palette there. And what I wouldn't do to just touch the stretchers or backside of the paintings. Or of course his palette. Just to be able to touch where Vincent did. Unbelievable.
If I had to pick one I’d say him at the easel with his brushes in one hand and the palette of color in the other hand. It’s how Vincent wanted to be remembered, a painter. It’s bright and airy and feels free.
Van Gogh Museum I love Vincent very much and I like them all. But my favorite is the one with the hat on his head and the cigarette between his lips, it seems to me to be... Free ❤️ Thank so much🙏🏼😊🎶🎻🐞🍀
My husband and I are huge fans and were so very excited to see this private tour online, to help educate and enlighten us all in this dark pandemic time. Vincent would've loved that! When are you guys releasing the rest in the series? We cannot wait!
Just imagine what vincent feel, he live with loneliness, and died horribly sad. But then 2 century later. There's a museum that just dedication only for his art
Hello ! I loved the video and the walk through the museum !! Thank you!! Could you tell me what the background song is called and who plays it? Greetings from Argentina
It is a great idea! I am grateful that I can see all the masterpeaces of my favourite painter in Van Gogh Museum. I have a dream to visit it sameday in person. But antil that time You make my dream came true.❤️ One question I have to you -what's the name of music in background?
I can’t wait to hear the playlist. And I agree with Milos until the day comes when I can walk those rooms myself this is just a wonderful way to be there. Thank you.
Yes on his time his art was his medication it was bright and the beauty of nature and vibrant but for this artist it's out of wack personal preference the sanity of Picasso and my personal preferences remain in mystery spring and the flowers are full of unreal beauty wild and free street lll photogr
What an amazing period! We discovered extraordinary secrets on the tour, and it's like time travel so that you could see how Chinese people were doing 100 years ago. @
Really enjoying this video series during shelter in place. I included the playlist in my roundup of best virtual museum tours, if you'd like to check it out fullysara.com/virtual-museum-tours 😊
The camera just blows past his palette with stopping. Am I the only one disappointed with the camera angles and lack of attention on the paintings themselves? This a great initiative, and I thank the museum. But also feels like a missed opportunity to showcase the paintings in a way where we are allowed to linger a bit on each one.
They did this, because a ticket to the museum costs money. Ofcourse they will not show every painting in detail, because than everyone could just watch the video instead of buying museum tickets.
Nice! When visiting another city or country, every educated person must visit a museum. Visiting museums is very useful and fascinating. A love for the "eternal" and "beautiful" is awakened in a person, the beginnings of greatness and respect for history are inculcated. It is impossible to turn the excursion into something banal, ordinary and boring. The person should be a comprehensively developed person, cultured, educated, critically and analytically thinking, with knowledge of foreign languages. It is the knowledge of a foreign language that opens wide prospects for a person to realize his/her creative potential, career and financial growth. I would like to recommend the practical training course by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign language", where you can find lots of useful information how to learn a foreign language quickly. Learn a foreign language and realize your creative potential on an international scale! The international community needs creative ideas! Thanks to the author of the channel for a very fascinating tour!

His amazing sense of color, lighting and composition were brilliantly on display in this wonderful exhibition. Thank You.
His brush strokes magnified 100 times reveal complexity and depth and are works of art in their own right.
What a place to be in! Pure creativity! And i love the shooting style.. so good.

How about dishing that outsized blowup detail. And dish the music. This is not a bloody spectacle!
