What separates MJ from other players besides his athleticism and talent was his relentless never say die mentality! Jordan is the most competitive athlete ever! Even more competitive than Kobe. MJ refused to loose when it mattered. He is the type to keep searching for ways to beat you if it took the rest of his life! This is why he would absolutely dominate in today’s era. Forget trading teammates. He would get in their ass so much they had no choice but to play better!

MJ was by far the most important player on the Bulls roster. People saying he couldn’t have won without Pippen may be true, but he could have won with any other competent all-star. Pippen could be swapped out, MJ couldn’t be, because he was on a different level than anyone else in the league. I watched the games in the 90s, he was just that much better.

Kukoc and Kerr were on the Bulls roster and contributed to the team from the time of Jordan retirement after his father died. Kukoc was Mr clutch and the reason for 7 regular season wins with buzzer beaters and had a game winning buzzer beater in the playoffs as well with Pippen pouting on the bench. Rodman was one of the best rebounders of the time.

I like the way the video broke down every year-by-year from 1984 -1998. They should have explained his final 2 years with the Wizards, too. MJ was the most athletic player in the 1980s. Chicago had Pippen and Grant in 1987 and they helped MJ in the 1990s win 6 NBA Titles. Horace Grant went to Orlando. This video showed how Jordan started from the bottom and work his way upward to the GOAT.

There was a lot of negative narratives that were 🧢 in this video.
For instances he wasn’t a ball hog because he wanted to be. He literally needed to be or the bulls would lose every game. So many missed dimes because his teammates would miss shots.
Also when the bulls got Scottie Pippen he wasn’t an Allstar caliber player. He was a 7.9ppg bench player.
Without MJ’s tough love practices we would have never seen the Scottie Pippen become the HOFer.
The video said that Pippen gave MJ a break from defending the best players is also 🧢
Pippen was a great defender and his 7 foot wingspan meant he was better suited to guard taller players. But it’s not like MJ wouldn’t take the challenge to defend and he didn’t rest on defense.
What wasn’t mentioned was that MJ had an 8 year stretch where the Bulls didn’t lose 3 games in a row. Just think about that.
Pippen earned his HOF career no doubt, but this video makes it sound like Pippen came to the Bulls and they immediately started winning.
Pippen wasn’t an Allstar until year 3, and he wasn’t an Allstar the year MJ won his first chip. Also Horace Grant was just as important as Scottie.
If Horace stayed with the Bulls they never would have gotten Rodman and Grant would have also become a HOFer just for being in the same squad as MJ for all six chips. Grant left the Bulls so that’s why he’s not regarded as a HOFer
MJ’s playoff loses all came against superior “Teams” stacked with multiple HOFers and Allstars. So it’s not like his “hero” ball was killing his team.
Too many false narratives being repeated in this NS video knocks it down to a B.
Also the video states the HOFers on MJs second threepeat run but it’s not like Rodman was in his prime or even an Allstar.
Kukoc was a great versatile player and earned his HOF career in Europe. Not because of his NBA career.

His father's death was not killed for MJ's gambling problems (that was the narrative), but in reality his father was traveling back home and stopped on the side of the road to sleep. The family expected him home and he didn't show up. Reason was 2 guys saw his expensive car sitting on road and was going to take it, but saw him inside and they saw he had on expensive jewelry. 1 of the guys apparently tried to take off his watch and MJ's father woke up and they tried to rob him then shot him in the chest, took his jewelry and took off. They caught 1 of the guys still wearing the watch and that's how they found the 2nd guy.

Kerr's shot was for the lead with 5 seconds left. Pippen deflected the inbound pass and Kukoc picked it up and dunked the ball with a couple of seconds left to seal the victory and the championship. I have a tape of the game(6 1997 finals).

This video narrator sounds like a Lebron fan saying MJ was selfish and didn’t explain how his teammates were drug addicts. All MJ needed was serviceable teammates. Without Pippen?😂😂 what a load of crap! They should say without Jordan Pippen didn’t win anything. MJ made Pippen and all his teammates greater. Pip had his chance to be the leader in 94 and because of Phil Jackson’s coaching they won 55 games but you have to apply context to understand. Pip was selfish and in the playoffs he refused to check into the game because Phil Jackson set up the last game winning play for Rookie Tony KuKoc. Take a look at 95 season and the Bulls were 34-31 failing miserably to meet expectations about to miss the playoffs when MJ came back and they ended with a 47-35 record. MJ was so loyal to Pip. He could have traded away pip for young Tracy Mcgrady was refused to play without Pip. After 98 MJ retired and pip played with the Houston Rockets (Barkley and Hakeem) in 99 then played with the Super team in Portland and just go look at the roster and you’ll realize that MJ was the one variable those Bulls Championship teams couldn’t do without and that includes ungrateful a$$ Scottie Pippen.

Let’s not act like Scottie wasn’t talented. That’s disingenuous. Coaching was NOT the only reason those 94 bulls won a lot of games. Pippen was an mvp candidate and was leading the team in most categories statistically. The man pretty much do it all. And yes, while we can’t say jordan’s influence on tipping help him to improve what we won’t do is act like Scott would be nothing without jordan Scottie Pippen would’ve been a great player wherever he went, he had the tools to be great in Seattle neck and very pain as well. All immediate with the work and the time Scotty had all the tools to be great. He had to put his OWN work. Jordan didn’t put in the work for him. So to discredit his work ethic and his ability to get better and his talent by trying to make it seem like jordan and Jackson was the only reason that he is who he is, is ridiculous. Pippen was a BEAST. Show some respect.

Like Allen Iverson said he definitely wouldn't average 30-40 points he would average 50 points per game in today's game. Remember they had hand checking back in the day. You can't even stare at a basketball player too long today without getting a foul drawn on you. Jordan would easily dominate today's basketball with 50 plus points per game.

Pippen went from MAYBE being a little underrated to being egregiously overrated due to this “Lebron is the GOAT” campaign. They use the fact Pippen was the next player on the Bulls and opted to stay MJ’s with the Bulls as running mate throughout their dynasty as evidence that it was actually PIPPEN who was the x-factor to their success which is just, embarrassing if you believe that. Even the video makes it seem like Pippen guarding Magic after game 1 might be the reason the Bulls won the next 4. I’m not saying it didn’t matter, or didn’t help, but they only lost game 1 by 2pts. And Magic’s numbers remained consistent throughout all 5 games. It’s not like he had a great game 1 then got shut down. And what he didn’t mention is how MJ just so happened to avg 11.5 assists in that Laker’s series vs the assist GOAT. The next year he rained 3’s to beat the league’s other best shooting guard who they said was a better 3pt shooter. Then in ‘93 he beat the league’s offensive powerhouse by avg over 40ppg…
