last night i had to get my cat that i've had for over 10 years put down. it was super abrupt too, he was completely fine until around 5pm when his leg was suddenly paralyzed so we took him to get checked out, and by midnight it was confirmed that putting him down would be the kindest way to let him go, rather than force him to suffer. i've listened to this song for a very long time, and only now do i really understand the lyrics. rest in peace, roary. you were the best friend i could've asked for.

You deserve someone so much better and I hope one day you eventually find someone who realizes how lucky they are to deserve someone like you.
