Hey Charlie, love the videos. BTW, I use to have my controller on the right side of my mouse and switched it to the left side of keyboard. That way you can them simultaneously. Made a huge difference.
It's wired in the patchbay so I can patch it in to any channel I need to. There have been a few questions about this so I'm working on a video on the different ways to use the EXTC.
I used to do that a lot in the old studio but I don't always like what it does to the kick. I actually prefer short "ambience" type reverbs that don't really have a tail. Create a nice depth. Tchad Blake is awesome. His stuff always sounds amazing.
@@Ultimatestudiosinc haha thats great!! The way you adjusted yourself on the seat while he snored was too coincidental!! Maybe your do is a sound design comedian.
I've used guitar pedals on a lot of things, but never drums. This was night and day different. ...Is there a dog snoring in the background of this video?
Delilah is boring in ALL the videos. Lol! Guitar pedals are my new plugins. The character they add to drums can create some really unique sounds and make some boring or plain drums sound cool. Thanks for watching!
As always, it is a great pleasure when I see a new video alert from you. Good fun with pedals.
Thank you!!
You definitely proved your point I could hear the difference clearly through some $1.00 ear buds
Thank you for watching!!
You can also commit on the way in if you don't have a reamp box or use guitar pedal plugins in the box.
Wow, amazing thanks for sharing
Thank you for watching!
great stuff man!
Thank you!

I tried that but it drove me crazy being on the left. I've gotten so used to it on the right that it just works.
HOW DOES PLUGINS SOUND ON DRUMS FOR A GOOD A/B
Killer!
Thank you!
That is a cool radial box. How are you hooking it up to the desk?

Question: Why don't you do short 20ms-ish delays on your rooms?
Super tasty trick with the pedals, btw. Tchad Blake would be proud.

Which version drive pedal is that? There are a few versions but they all look alike
I'll have to check that.....It's a newer pedal though.
is that your dog snoring? or maybe Ernesto? LOL
LOL!! Yes it's Delilah. She likes to sleep right beside me when I'm making these videos.
As a guitarist stepping into mixing this is hugely exciting.
Also 3:06 it sounds and looks like you farted 😂😂😂
Oh but the “fart noise” happens often haha what is that?
It's my dog snoring. Lol!

Should've just gone ahead and thrown the background snoring effect in there too🤷🏾♂️😭🤣💀⚰️
Re amp the room
I've done that too but that wasn't the goal for this video. There is a video of room reamping on the channel.
