“High expectations set by my family”
The expectation was literally just graduate from college. They even shrugged off the fact you were expelled for theft and threatened their lives. There were zero expectations.
Well, to be fair, we don't know that. The fact that he liked shopping and had feminine speech patterns may have meant he was gay and we don't know the family's reaction to that.

I still remember vividly when the counselor came into our 3rd grade classroom to announce the bad news.. all the children that had Mrs. Whitaker in Kindergarten and as a teaching assistant when she retired started to bawl. That’s the first moment I had ever experienced someone I have physically walked past day to day being murdered. It’s a surreal feeling. R.I.P. Mrs. Whitaker, you haven’t been forgotten almost 20 years later.
I’m so sorry for that. How horrible. It’s just so wrong and awful.

Chilling statement, and I'm sorry you experienced this - particularly at such a young age. But you should never encounter either a murder victim or a murderer. Most people live in communities where murder is rare, and they go their entire lives without personally knowing a murder victim. And this is how it should be. As murder rates rise, we must be careful that these crimes don't become normalized, or an accepted part of life. In order to do this, and keep murder rates low, all crimes - particularly petty crimes - must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law (ie: the laws before shoplifting and other crimes were decriminalized). Studies are very clear that murders rates raise precipitously when misdemeanors don't get prosecuted. NYC's decades long experiment with crime leniency supports these studies fully - and also shows us how to address these situations which Giuliani did with his tough on crime stance. Unfortunately, people fail to learn from history and are doomed to repeat it.

I can appreciate your memories from what must seem like forever ago. But, I promise that's a memory that will always be etched in your mind!
My 1st grade teacher, Miss Cutter, told us kids right before Christmas break she was going to have a baby, she'd be leaving to start her family and we'd have a new teacher when we came back from break! (I know it's not the same as a teacher dying, but I understand the attachment aspect at a young age.)
I remember being devistated cause I loved her and this was my first experience with someone I was attached to saying they'd be leaving.
I was so upset! I guess my mom recognized how hard I was taking this news cause she made arrangements with Miss Cutter for her to take me over to her house to visit with her a couple times after Christmas break.
After that I recovered.
I can't imagine how I would have felt had Miss Cutter been killed.
The following year in the 2nd grade was the year JFK was assassinated. The school shut down at 1:30 pm, all the teachers were crying and even though 90٪ of kids walked to school all parents came and picked their kids up that afternoon. (It was 1 mile for my siblings & I.)
I remember being so scared because I didn't understand why all the teachers were crying? Once I got home my parents told me & my siblings our President was assassinated today and that's why everyone is so sad!
Funny how although I can't remember what I did a week ago, here it is 60+ years later I can clearly remember like it was yesterday those two episodes in my life.

Its not easy but I think I could do it. In my time in jail I understand I am no one to judge anyone. I know very little about anyone situation and even the worst of people have their story. I used to judge everyone until it was my turn to be judged and that still haunts me. People do horrible things but I believe everyone will get what they deserve once we pass and understand the true nature of this life we are in. People who did the worst will surely burn and there is no discretion to pain in the afterlife. I pray everyone becomes more understanding to one another. Nonetheless even if you don’t judge it doesn’t mean you should stay with those who do evil acts or disrespect you, that is when one distance themselves for their self worth. Blessings

What I find really disturbing about a lot of these cases is how easy these guys find somebody to kill their parents, partners, friends etc. We’re not even talking about hiring a hitman, it’s usually a work friend or some other acquaintance. “Hey man I want my parents dead, do you want to kill them?” “Yeah sure bro”. Maybe it’s not that straightforward but the sheer amount of people who seem quite readily available to assist in a murder is, quite frankly, scary.

I am a Christian and a parent. I am the first to forgive. Forgiveness is not given because it is deserved. It’s given because it is needed.
With that being said, not everyone cares or in anyway needs it. This is rare but they do exist. And we end up watching documentaries on Dreading about them.
With all of that being said ….
I think the moment in this that had the most visceral reaction from me, was when Bart demanded better attorneys from his father. The father he had shot, and continue to plan his murder afterward. The father who his wife and son she murdered. There are just no words. Literally no words. And for the life of me, I do not understand, Christian or not, forgiveness or not, like his father with tolerate or entertain that in anyway. I’m so angry right now.
During the 911 call with all the “I don’t knows”, he still was able to racially profile the imaginary murderer as being black by the way he sounded. That was the only straight answer that flawlessly flowed from his distressed explanation. Killed his family and still had time to be racist.

No, the point is that he didn’t like himself and it wasn’t his fault, it was his family’s fault. Like so many murderers he looks at the world through a narcissistic lens, he’s darn near perfect so he can’t be the problem. Therefore, by his logic, once he kills the other people the problem will be resolved. After the crime the narcissistic murderer presumes that the police and everyone else will believe whatever lie they tell about the murder. The narcissistic murderer just can’t imagine that anyone would form an opinion independent of the lies he expects everyone to believe. Their reality is unreal.

This is an example of how unconditional love for one's family can be dangerous. Last surviving relative or not, Bart's old man should realise that his son hates his guts, and would try to have him killed again, if he had the chance. How is having that sort of person, blood-related or not, rotting behind bars and still likely scheming, of any comfort to him?

Well, you’ll be happy to know I’ve made another parody ad that will be in the next video. The episode is so long I had to record the narration over 2 days which makes each half sound a little different. So I wanted to have a break in the middle so the sound difference isn’t so noticeable. That episode will be up on Tuesday.

I saw a documentary on Bundy that said when it came to the last few days before his execution he started getting really scared. I’m pretty sure it’s still on Netflix if anyone is interested in seeing it. I’ve seen a lot on him and this has some interesting stuff on it. It’s called the Ted Bundy tapes.

I dated someone who was involved in the marketing aspect of the various developments in Sugarland, so often attended events in the area. I also know people who live there. You are the first youtuber I have seen that says "well be right back" and prepares for the annoying ads that have to be played. Good job on that because the ads are more annoying to me on these types of dramatic videos when they interupt the video in mid sentence in what seems like the worst possible times. So great job for taking them into account

If they bullied a kid at school they would probably say to the teacher "my child would never do that". You see a lot of murderers with parents like that. I remember a case where a guy killed his wife and son and was plotting to kill his parents (he was hiring a hitman to kill his parents but the guy told the police and the phone calls were recorded). Instead of being grateful that their lives were saved, the parents were angry he was arrested and refused to listen to the phone calls. It seems being too nice to your kids (not showing them consequences to their actions) can lead to them become evil just as much as child abuse.

Whose business is it of anyone else's if he forgave his son? If he wants to talk about publicly about it then people are entitled to their opinion about what he says. His son's killing didn't just affect his dad, His son's actions cost the taxpayers a fortune in judicial proceedings, not to mention the costs incurred when he fled the country. It's one thing to plead that you'll be further victimized if your son is executed but who's fault is it? His son caused all this damage!

I don't think so, I think that's the dad's nature. Remember, he was willing to forgive whoever murdered his wife and son pretty much right away, long before he knew his son had done it. He's one of those people who truly looks for the good in everyone and probably finds it. There are very few people like him around, which makes the fact that his son is a murderer who took the rest of his family away even worse. Sometimes bad things really do happen to good people.

If the dad was that hysterical and mad while recovering from being shot when he found from the police that his son had lied about school and graduating, I don't think he would be that calm and immediately forgiving of the murderer. I acted out a lot as a teen.(No reason. I just thought I was being cool and I was getting away with it). My dad sat me down, an said "if you're big enough to get yourself into trouble, you better be big enough to get yourself out. I won't spend a penny or lift a finger to help you, but I'll be very sad for you and I'll visit you every chance I get." I believed him. I straightened out real quick.
