Happy that the Patricia Nash items are selling for you! I watched a clean-up (after a death) video the other day, and someone had hoarded QVC-type online store items. She had duplicate/multiples of small appliances and all sorts of multiples of stuff. I'm not a business like you are, but I ship within 1 day. If I have time and am willing, I can ship same day. My sales are usually M-F, rarely weekends. I'm pretty unmotivated right now, but I get like that in the summer time and around the winter holidays. Realizing that I have those ebbs allows me to do other stuff. Amy, you look beautiful and I believe in you! You are an inspiration to us! XOXOXO

It seems like the compulsive QVC shopping may be more common than I thought. Quite a few other people have shared stories as well. I think this is the 3rd or 4th estate I’ve come across with so much QVC and HSN items.

I find my sales are higher on the days I list more and interact, and especially a couple days after a live show.

Three Things: (1) I do not polish brass or any metals. I write in my description that item has patina and is left for the buyer to decide to polish or not. (2) I think buyers ask if you can ship quickly after purchase because they think sellers will accomodate out of fear of losing the sale. (3). Thanks for the video.

Yes my sales cycle have been the same as yours. Weekends are great and then nothing midweek. Its discouraging and my mojo is in a slump too. Always enjoy your videos!

Great content as always Amy! This one however kind of hits home, when you touched on the motivation and being thankful. I am a stay-at-home homeschool mom trying to build my reselling business for the last two years all while dealing with service-related PTSD and possibly perimenopause. I do a lot and yet I feel like I accomplish nothing at times. Because of the perimenopause, there has been a slight weight gain and because of the PTSD, there is a lack of motivation to work out. Your thoughts on your weight loss and being grateful for the things you have accomplished so far definitely spoke to me. I need to take it one day at a time and focus on the things I accomplished the day as opposed to the things I am falling short. Thank you for always opening your heart to all of us strangers because it definitely does have an impact. It does for me anyway. By the way...I am also following your Summer of Sales motto, when I get an offer I think ...think like Amy... Summer of sales!

I also think they should ask before purchasing whether it can be shipped quickly or not. I had someone pay for usps ground then ask afterwards if I could ship it priority mail.

Hi Amy! I think I’ve already shared about my death piles from the past when I sold anything and everything- I was doing well money wise but mentally I was not! I hated being surrounded by clutter everywhere. I decided to only sell small items even if I didn’t make as much. And well I don’t do as well as I did before but at least I have my sanity. I think it really helps having a separate area/building to house all the items like you do. I think we all just do the best we can and the very important thing is to do what’s best for you! Thank you for always being so open with us, you always get me thinking :) Kudos to you for keeping the weight off, boy do I know the struggle. The past 8mo or so I’ve lost 30lbs and feel so much better. You got this and thank you for being an inspiration! Have a great week! ❤

@@thriftadventurethank you Amy! It’s been a ride for sure. Oh I read your reply to my other comment on the iPhone- my husband had the 15 pro and it overheated. He got another phone (same 15 pro) and they came out with an update that fixed that issue. He loves the camera on the phone, it even takes macro shots which is great taking product photos. Anyways, I’m wondering if the issue with your video being blown out is more about your lighting? Overcast days probably give a better image even lighting. I know you sit in front of a window- maybe throwing a sheet or curtain over the window will help diffuse the lighting. I thought maybe it would be helpful 😊
@@Hannah-FleursDeMontagne So was the update new phones, on is it something you can download. I’m not very phone savvy… It sounds like I need to read more about how to adjust the camera settings.
For this video I hadn’t done any changes to the settings yet. I think it’s improved for my upcoming videos… Hopefully.

I have watched a few resellers that have slumping sales heading into summer. All of them are challenging themselves to list from 5 to 10 items a day and at least 1 item has to be listed from their deathpile. I have been stress eating myself right now, my answers is keeping a large stock of celery on hand and keep busy.
Listing is key for sure, that is the one thing that almost always makes sales pick up. I like the idea of setting a goal of how many items to list from the death pile too. ❤️

Amy how did you lose the weight - did you follow a certain program, diet and exercise? I see a lot of people now doing it with ozempic but that’s a not a great way as you end up loosing a lot of muscle weight plus other side effects. I can not be robotic and list like crazy every day - I have to be excited about what I am listing and that is not an everyday thing! Lol I am quilty of shopping more than listing this month but I gave myself permission to do it! We have to do what makes us happy and we have to stay in gratitude that’s what I think. ❤👒👗👘👠👜👟👖
Hi! I follow the Paleo diet lifestyle. I try to eat real food like veggies, fruits, nuts, and meat, and limit processed foods. I avoid eating refined sugar, gluten, and dairy. I also walk or do something active at least 5 days a week. The diet part can be challenging, but I feel so much better when I eat healthy foods. I’m kind of on the fence about ozempic, but I totally understand why some people would take it. I think everyone’s body is different and some people really need the extra help.

I need a search and rescue party to find my mojo again. Had a return approved and since then my sales are nonexistent. I’ve been relisting old items and refreshing the listing, rearrange photos etc. I’m trying to make it work-as we all do- just hoping for more consistent sales.
And PLEASE- I can’t EVEN talk about weight right now - way too “throw myself off a bridge” vibe going on … UGH

I don’t mind you asking about children. We don’t have any kids, we decided not to have any…. I don’t share it in my videos because I know there are so many people out there who would give anything to have children, but can’t. It is hard for many people to understand why some couples choose not to have children. I don’t want to have to explain myself for that part of it. 😊
