that man you see at all the shows is known as " brock lesner guy" and the green shirt is " kool aid guy"
White suit ref was to do with the type.of.match it was protect him from explosions etc as match was exploding Texas death match
That was an exploding barbed wire death match. Instead of the ropes connecting the turnbuckles, it is connected by barbed wire and the barbed wires creates some explosion everytime you touch it. The match where the neck of the wrestlers were tied with the chain was a dog collar match. Dog collar match is an old school hardcore match. And rusev's name in aew is miro pronounced as "meero".
You should react to gcw death matches John moxly was in gcw back in the day
loads of thanks for your reaction videos. Please can you do a reaction to the new year's bash between Tay Conti + Anna Jay vs Penelope Ford + The Bunny? It's approx. 30 minutes of pure street-fight and OMG moments between all 4 from start to finish. [el'sda2].
Glad you are checking out more AEW, but whoever put this together needs to watch more than 8 matches.
The White Suit the ref was in was a protective bomb suit and the Explosions were from an "Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch".
AEW didn't do it justice, but then again it's kinda hard to do it right as it's so stupidly dangerous,
That fan you see in every clip is commonly known as "Brock Lesnar Guy." He somehow gets front row at every event and ALWAYS wears that shirt. I'm not sure how long he was attending shows before he got notorious, but back in 2012, he was caught on-camera mimicking the Brock Lesnar entrance pose and that's how he got his nickname.
Here's a link to the clip: ruclips.net/video/LCzBf-jo84o/видео.html
Your facial expression are priceless lol
What you saw is an exploding barbed wired match
Yup, sting is still going. And he jumps off high shit like the stage and balconies at the age of 63. absolute wild man
The unprotected chairshots to the head do hurt. In fact, they're used sparingly in ALL of Pro-Wrestling for the reason of CTE.
Most promotions have banned headshots all together, most notably WWE - they get hefty fines if they do it.
I cringe when I watch old ECW and WWF matches and see so many unprotected shots. It's no wonder guys like Sabu and Sandman can barely formulate a sentence on Twitter.
Yeah I Mean look What Happened To Poor Chris Benoit He Got So Much Brain Damage. We Will Never Know For Sure If He Would Have Done The Things He Did If He Didn't Have Any Brain Damage Period.
Shoot headbutts and unrpotected chairshots need to go the way of the dinosaur
I love CTE
Sting is having a bit of a renaissance right now. Still putting on banger matches and he is diving off of the highest places he can find. It's honestly crazy how good of a run he is having.
yeah, he's protected just the right amount
he's basically everybody's grandpa and we're all too glad to pop at every single no sell or dive he does.
7:38 that clip was from one of the first events in AEW history, Moxley had the eyepatch because the previous week Chris Jericho offered him a car to join the Inner Circle, when he refused, Jericho attacked his eye with the key to the car.
Uh no
"That man is a barrel." That's one way to describe Keith Lee. The man is way more athletic than he has any right to be with his build. Hell of a nice guy, too. His episode of Hey (ew) with RJ City is still the funniest episode. I highly recommend it.
Good catch Couser! Getting better at seeing botches already
If Fin Balor would have become a RUclipsr 🤣 I love this channel
To answer your question the explosions are part of a match type called 'exploding barbed wire death match' was popular in the 80's-early 2000's in japan and America , most notably with terry funk. in mainstream wrestling now its not all that common. the whole point was you touch a rope or a prop area a small explosion goes off. in some cases especially in japan the explosions were enough to cause severe burns and marks which is why its not used alot now. there are still companies that do this style of hardcore matches but its not as major now as it once was considered
enjoy your content 😀
I remember reading the first time about that in Mick Foleys book. I looked up the King of Deathmatch video and was like "What the f---"
@@TheLibermania death matches are such a weird niche in wrestling that I've never really understood. Sometimes it looks cool but when you look at the old death matches like funk , foley and nakano it's super sketchy and dangerous lol
@@joshclay8859 i agree, but i just want to add everything i saw from CZW (which honestly wasn't much) to it.
CZW is such a crazy promotion, that and GCW is the place to go if you like that kinda style
Love the look and new setup Adam. Keep up the great content. And yes, it is 2022 and Sting is still going hard in AEW
You gotta check out Rey Fenix. He is the craziest high flyer AEW has and he will blow your mind
Agreed you should check him out. He’s amazingly talented.
the green shirt guy and the other guy (Brock Lesnar guy) are part of a group (i think its 6 of them) that go to about every show. about 2 years after AEW started they started attending their shows too. it was really nice to not have to see them on screen but that didnt last.. the brock lesnar guy FINALLY changed at Summerslam last week he dressed like cowboy Brock Lesnar with flannel and a cowboy hat 🤦🏻♂️
Anyway.... react to Rey Fenix (AEW)
Sting is still going strong at age 62, still having banger matches mostly teaming with Darby Allin (the skinny guy with the half-facepaint). He's an absolute physical freak and they know how to work around what limitations he does have.
So Jimmy Havoc was dressed “in bondage” as you said 😂 because Darby had put a bunch of thumbtacks in his mouth and taped his mouth shut after taping him to a chair
There was a bunch of explosions In the match between moxley and omega because at revolution 2021 they had an exploding barbed wire death match for the world title after Kenny screwed moxley
And in the clip moxley was wearing an eye patch because in the story between moxley and Jericho near the very start of the company Jericho had taken a spike off his coat and “stabbed moxleys eye out” and the clip you had seen was moxley doing the same to one of jerichos cronies
The fact Kenny did all that while super injured is crazy. I swear these wrestlers would wrestler on a broken arm if some had too lol.
Jericho did have a match with a broken arm!
@@KruelAidMan see shits freaking crazy what they do for our entertainment lmfao
He even wrestled with vertigo and despite all that he's very likely to come back after only missing a year. Omega is insane.
Your asking about the explosions when they hit the ropes and barbed wires, it's about new Japan pro wrestling match, a form of death match.
New Japan Pro Wrestling, takes hard-core Wrestling to higher levels. If you remember ECW, New Japan goes almost 10times more extreme in several matches
It wasnt NJPW... it was FMW ;)
I want more of this s**t cause I love this s**t :D
Cody had no idea that the cage was that tall before he climbed up there to do the dive and was absolutely shitting himself. Luckily it all went safely.
He did break his toe
8:49
The match is an "Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch". The referee is dressed like that because the ring will allegedly explode (it didn't work out very well, that's a whole other story) at the end of the match, it's some kind of protective suit because of the explosions.
15:23
This guy is known as "brock lesnar guy" after having a popular crowd reaction during Brock Lesnar's WWE return in 2012. I'm pretty sure he's worn the same shirt to every wrestling event since, and he's at almost every wrestling show I see. Crazy.
And green shirt guy tends to be prominent in the front row at nearly every show for the last decade or so.
It's not because the explosion at the end don't be stupid bro, it's for the explosions DURING THE MATCH
The referee left the ring when the match was over, as always
I like you very much and I really like your videos, especially the AEW ones because I placed my hopes in this company before it started and luckily it hasn't disappointed hehehe, congratulations on the channel and greetings from Spain 💪😁
I will hear no arguments about how Nick does nothing for the Meltzer Driver 😂 He makes it look pretty 🤩
Haha good spot bro, I always see the same guys in the crowd. The brock lesnar guy and green t shirt guy both always there 😂😂
That was Rey fenix that jumped off the change. I'd suggest watching a best of fenix. Even his partner penta zero aswell
The explosions and the dude with the white suit on, that is from the Exploding Barbed Wire Death Match, yes it was during covid times, the man in the white suit is the referee he just wanted to make sure that he didn't get hurt himself during the match.
was the ref really wearing some kind of fire retardant suit ? lol. that’s a little excessive , i mean WWE has had explosions in the ring before or just fire in general and the ref wasn’t wearing any special gear.
The ref in the white suit has to wear that, If you ever see any of Terry funk's death matches from Japan in the 80s and early 90s the refs wore these suits to protect themselves from the explosions and whatnot.
To answer how do wrestlers not get hurt. They do they just have a high tolerance to pain. One AEW wrestler wrestled main events with vertigo for 2 years.
The explosions were apart of an exploding Barbed Wire Death Match. They don't happen often and the one between Moxley and Omega had a botched ending where the ring failed to "explode".
The match was fantastic. The botch was post match
"...just take it all in that you're not currently in pain at the minute." Speak for yourself. No such minute ever comes for me.
I second that. I’m watching this while suffering from a trapped nerve in my lower spine, and I’m wincing every time someone’s back hits a solid object.
Please watch lucha underground omg moments
15:14 he is know as "brock lesnar guy" he goes to just about anything and everything. wwe, aew, tna. green shirt guy is also at like every event imaginable, not sure how they do it
I love seeing him naturally realize that Brock Lesnar Guy & Green Shirt Guy are at every event
why do they call him Brock Lesnar guy?
@@radutanase7221 im not 100%, but he was there when lesnar returned in 2012, if you watch it on YT you'll see him. I'm assuming thats where it started
@@thamuzvillain4114 it s funny because I 've been watching wrestling for 10 years and I' ve never been able to spot him or the green shirt guy.
@@radutanase7221 theres no way.... its easy AF to spot them without even trying
Definitely need to go watch the bunny and Penelope Ford vs Tai Conte and Anna Jay. That entire match is madness.
I would also add the triple threat for the tag titles between Swerve in Our Glory, Team Taz and Jurassic Express
Well this seems…….INSANE!!! I bet Tony Kahn [founder of AEW] is just back stage saying something like; “Just another day at the office, ay boys?” :P
I’d suggest just watch the entirety of Cody Rhodes v Seth Rollins in Hell in a Cell. Man did an entire match with a torn pec and it was incredible. Make it happen you Irish legend ✌🏻
yes that was a botch, Trent bumped for Great O'Khan's taunt 😂
Can You Do The Ultimate Kane’s Chokeslam Compilation?🙌🏽🔥
Sting jumps from ledges and from the stage. He’s immortal
8:38. That is just a referee for the match. Not a joke because its a EXPLODING BARBWIRE DEATHMATCH
BROOOOOO STIIIIIING! He's going HAM no butter on them young wrestlers! 😂🙅🏾♂️💀

Green shirt guy/smiley. Yes. He goes everywhere. His buddy works with wwe. So free shows. AT THAT ONE PERFECT VIEW SEAT
Exploding Barbwire Deathmatches are just plain fun
You should react to Aaron Rogers NFL highlights. You won’t be disappointed that’s for sure.
PLEASE WATCH A VIDEO CALLED SKATE ASSAULT IN BURNABY BC
This man kicked someone in the head with a skate, IN A BEER LEAGUE
Adam: try to find the FMW matches: exploding barbwire deadmatch... the ref is in White because of protection of not getting hurt...
“Where the fuck’s this man’s shoes?” Mox took them off him.
“Please tell me this is a joke?!” Unfortunately, it ended up being a joke. It was sadly absolutely awful.
Those two guys you recognized in the crowd are definitely at alot of events. I'm pretty sure they have social media pages. "Brock Lesnar Guy" and "Superfan Smilez"
My friend who loves WWE but wants to try AEW: Sum it up in one sentence.
Me: Easy. Try to kill Darby Allin.
I'm not even joking poor guy gets rekt worse than Heath Slater Vs Lita... lmao
5:13 that. That is a exploding barb wire deathmatch. They got that, texas deathmatch(page vs archer, mox vs archer,), ladder, cage, Stadium stampede(at jaguar stadium), and a unscantioned lights out match(mox vs omega)
Its also the match with worst ending aew wise to a match. Once timer is up, ring was suppose to,EXPLODE, but it mas just sparklers
And those weren't even the craziest moments. You had Sammy Guevara vs Cody in the ladder match, Darby Allin vs Jeff Hardy in the Owen Cup, this year's Blood & Guts and Anarchy in the Arena just to name a few
So to your point about if it hurts; in the moment yes and no. If you used thumbtacks as a weapon the adrenaline that runs through your body kind of numbs the pain. Generally you'll be bruised and sore and stiff like a horribly tough workout. Though obviously accidents happen, taking a piledriver is as safe as a bat shot because of the way they're trained and how it's shot.
Also as an aside; the ref wasn't protected cause of COVID, it was an explosive barbed wire deathmatch so he was wearing a fireproof suit. It's adding to the story but he was wearing gloves in case he needed to grab the wire if something went wrong.
It's moves like this that make me wonder why people think wrestling is fake. How can you fake jumping off a ladder onto someone else? You can't! I'm always gonna love this stuff! WWE and AEW combined.
The referee was dressed in a hazmat suit and a gas mask, because he did not want to get blood on himself, and did not want to breathe in the cancer-causing smoke from the explosives inside and outside of the ring. Also, he was trying to protect himself in case he got knocked into the exploding ring ropes by accident, to avoid fiery burns from the explosives. He was the referee for an "Exploding Ring Match". Such matches are rare. They have been done in Japan, and once in the XPW promotion over 20 years ago. In that match, the referee wore a white air force base firefighting suit (the ones used to fight jet fires on the runway). Check out "XPW: Blown To Hell", and look for the "Exploding Ring Match".
The problem with AEW is they are doing things they shouldn't be doing such as chair shots to the head. You'll hear stories from wrestlers such as Chris Jericho who said he would brace himself and take a chair shot to the head. With what is known now about concussions, AEW should be taking precautions with somethings. Matt Hardy's wife freaked out (every right to do so) because he hit his head on an arena floor in a match against Sammy Guevara on Dynamite and no concussion protocol was taken. She knew by the look in his eyes he had some sort of concussion. Things need to be done to protect wrestlers.
At Royal Rumble 1999, Mankind was the WWF Champion going in. He was defending the title in an "I Quit" match against The Rock. Mankind took so many chair shots to the head. Not a lot of stuff in wrestling gets me freaked out. But that was too much. I wonder how bad Mick Foley will be (head wise) when he is older. The thought of how his brain might be is a frightening thing. When they examined Chris Benoit's brain, it was mush. It was that of an octogenarian or someone really old. That's what led to WWE banning chair shots to the head.
If you think Cody Rhodes' dive of a cage is crazy, check out "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka's splash off the top of a cage onto Don Murraco. That's the most iconic dive off the top of a cage since it was uncommon in the 1980s.
They are hurt.. that’s why they all die young from pain prescription overdoses.
The ref was in the suit because of the explosions. It was to protect him from them. It was a exploding barbwire death match. Had the worst ending in all of wrestling history.
That's an explosive barbwire deathmatch. Apparently, Kenny Omega was pissed about the final explosions because they weren't what he thought they were going to be.
It was an Exploding Barbed Wire Death Match, the ref was dressed like that to give the illusion that he was protected from explosions. The match itself was great, but after 30 minutes a timer went off and a HUGE explosion was supposed to happen, but only some small poppers went off but Omega and Moxley sold it like they were hit with a nuclear blast, and it looks ridiculous so the match got memed for awhile.
Hey Adam Couser did you know that there is a AEW console game coming out called AEW fight forever
The match with the ref in the suit, was called an Exploding Barbed Wire match. He was wearing the suit because of the explosions and barbed wire.
8:45 nah that was an "exploding barbed wire match" this Guy with Them suit was Like an pytrotechnican and ref
That piledriver where he flipped over the ropes is called the Meltzer driver because well known wrestling critic Dave Meltzer hates stuff like that. I'm probably the 100th person to say it lol
7:39 Jericho in their feud blinded his eye at revolution 2020(march 5th Round their)
you've already know about the long term injuries to guys from Hockey and American Football; wrestling has similar problems. Guys get addicted to painkillers or harder stuff. Matt's brother Jeff has alcoholism, etc.
Yes Sting is till going; Ric Flair only just had his "final" match, and he's been doing forever. Not in AEW though.
Yes that's Rusev, or Miro as AEW calls him
Jeff Hardy is really tragic in that sense - he first got addicted to prescription painkillers, and then started the bad combo of “uppers” and “downers” because he tried to cram so much into his life so early (wrestling, on the road, doing art, writing music), he managed to get past the drug addictions, only to now have an alcohol problem.
The saddest thing is, he tries so damn hard for the sake of his family, but somehow still manages to fall off the wagon.
I do worry for him, if he doesn’t get the help he needs, there’s going to be a really tragic ending.
Do wcw shit. That's World Championship Wrestling for all the Gen X ppl
Well.. "i wonder how nobody is hurt".. half of AEW roster is in hospital.. so.. yeah
The explosions were because it was officially an exploding barbed wire death match. Lot of good moments, but ruined by the ending. The whole ring was supposed to "explode" once the match was over, but due to a glitch all that went off were effectively streamers shooting out of the ring posts. AEW hasn't had another of those matches since
2:40 no Jon Moxley did not get caught by the ropes Jon Moxley got caught by the knee of Kenny Omega Which is known as the V trigger
The guy in the same clothes is Brock Lesnar Guy! He was there when Brock returned to WWE back in the day!
15:20 everyone knows him as Brock Lesnar guy.
Also you'll see the guy wearing the green shirt and the hat (looks like James Ellsworth) is at pretty much every wrestling show
Funny thing is the part where Nick does the front flip into the tombstone n you pointed out how it was entirely unnecessary n you love it... That's kinda why they started doing that tag move that way... Originally he would just jump n slam the opponent but The Young Bucks being the absolute trolls they are heard way too many grumpy old folks(Jim Cornette in particular) bitching that they do too much flippy shit so in response they added an entirely pointless n unnecessary flip to the move to annoy their haters
Would you like to check some storylines from AEW? If yes, then I can suggest some good video essays for you to react....
Why the eyepatch? Because Jericho stabbed Moxley in the eye with a fork...only for him a couple matches later to show he was okay in another very bloody match.
Adam - quick question for you (hope you don't mind): do you have any sound dampening in your room, because if not you already sound quite good.
15:21 yep yep thats the "brock lesnar guy"
Same shirt .. almost every show
Green shirt guy I know as brock lesner guy after his reaction to brock coming back to wwe a few years back, he's at a lot ot shows. And sting is still going, at 63 years of age still taking bumps.
Every time Adam says F@$%, an angel eats a chesse sandwich 🥰 love you so much Adam 💗 xoxo stay well 😘
In the Moxley vs. Omega match, the ropes have been replaced with barbed-wire and explosive charges so that whenever a wrestler is forced into the barbed-wire, a small charge goes off (hence the puffs of smoke).
The referee is dressed in the full covering and mask because it is also an Exploding Ring Match, meaning that if the match doesn't end before the time-limit expires, the ring itself will be blown up. Due to this, the ref is wearing protective clothing.
Unfortunately, the ending was a colossal dud, so you won't find it in this video.
Would be great if people stopped blaming TK for that too, it was tbe pyrotechnic guy who messed up and he ended up not paying them because of it.
The referee isn't dressed in the hazmat suits because of COVID it's to protect him from the explosions
The masked guy is Rey Fenix part of the Lucha brothers
The masked guy is Rey Fenix part of the Lucha brothers
the explosions are part of the death math. if you are a fan of wrestling is suggest exploding barbwire death matches from Japan. they will teach you about real death matches.
The barbed wire is worked so that it's not as dangerous. Same goes for all wrestling weapons that are generally somewhat hollow to lessen the blow. Actual barbed wire wouldn't just puncture your skin. It completely shreds it when you try to pull out. I remember seeing clips from a match that used actual barbed wire and I had to stop watching because it was so nasty.
whoever made this video should go back & apologize to Sting for cutting out the part where he jumps right up & kills both guys
hey you should check out my point of view for sammy getting thrown off the cage thru the table in Detroit, it's a short on my channel, that spot and night was absolutely insane!
oh those injuries do happen mate. Undertaker has had over like 20 surgeries and my favorite Edge had to retire for like 10 years due to a broken neck. Big E recently got his neck broke as well. another great reaction tho brother.
ah yes my favorite wwe wrestler the aew cruiserweight champion dean moxley
Yeah, the one thing that i dont get about AEW, is the explosives. Is it like they're getting shocked? lmao
I think you need to watch the lucha bros vs young bucks cage match it will blow your mind (1:35 that clip is from this match)
Fun fact, I was at the show that had Jannella vs Omega. It was at the State Farm center in Champaign Illinois, which other fun fact is the home town of Tony Khan
Barefoot man got his shoes robbed mid match by his opponent when Mox poured the pins on the floor.
The booms are from an "exploding barbed wire" match, so the ref had the suit on so he didn't get any minor burns or caught by barbed wire
you also can watch Brock Lesnar vs undertaker it's also funny too
the ref was dressed up the way he was because it was a bomb squad suit, since everything is exploding around him, he decided to wear protection, against both the explosions and the barbed wire.
Ref was just dressed up like that to protect himself because is was an exploding barbed wire death match
You should try reacting to jon moxley vs nick gage next it'll make you cringe
