What’s happening in this Nanny McPhee movie clip?
At the Brown’s household, Cedric Brown (Colin Firth) is about to marry Mrs. Selma Quickly. To stop the ceremony and prevent that, the children pretend that bees are attacking them.
What’s the movie Nanny McPhee about?
In an attempt to tame his seven noisy, ill-behaved children who have managed to drive away all previous nannies, widower Cedric Brown (Oscar Winner Colin Firth) asks governess Nanny McPhee (Oscar Winner Dame Emma Thompson) to come to the rescue. Using magic and mystical powers, this peculiar woman enters the household in which she will have to deal with Simon (Thomas Sangster) and mischievous siblings. When the possibility of their separation is being considered by their great-aunt Adelaide (Angela Lansbury), the whole family tries to work together, hand in hand with Nanny McPhee to try to avoid that.

I love that Nanny McPhee is “bzzzzz” with the children

She did?
@@Queen_Springsteen look closely at her mouth during the buzzing scene
The way the baby just said “beehive” caught me so off guard 💀😂
That baby is wise.
Aggie cracks Simon up 😆
She talks little in the movie!
Genius
Man I remember when I was a kid, that scene where he smacked her hat off her head always made my mom die of laughter 🤣
i know right he just bitch slaps the hat off her head every time i watch this scene gives me laughing fits.

The fact that Mr. Charles and Mr. Wheen only laugh at each other at how absurd and ridiculous they look with cake on each other even after one cakes the other as payback they just laugh at how funny they look. I just love this scene. Shame it’s cut short though.
I really loved the part where she said beehive 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Впустую ,
Very funny Aggy
That baby is a girl?
Yes actually it’s a baby girl.
The lady on the left made me laugh the way she was shocked. 😂🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍👍

I just noticed that Nanny McPhee winked at Simon after Agatha said, “beehive.” She hated that woman too!
After seeing how she broke Aggie's rattle she could see that Selma Quickly is a bitch in sheep's clothing.
Lol yep she definitely did. Reason why is she knew she wasnt a good person and caught her berating the kids lil earlier b4 this. :) so she was fine with the destruction from simon lol!
She also helped Simon find the idea of the bees, I guess you could say. There’s a small ding at 1:20 when she nods her head towards him. It’s the same ding as when she winks at him.
@@AdMiKa also very true, and good catch! 👌
Lol all i can say is nanny mcphee really hated her.
Yeah, she broke her mother's rattle
Angela Lansbury as aunt Adelaide. Nailed It! She was great in this movie
2:53 that was a fast duck😂😂
3:10 - I've always found it funny when they were laughing at themselves and each other.
"Sugar, Spice, and Everthing nice 3:11 "
(Children chuckled)
recognize that reference?
3:00-3:09 First most British thing, having you valet toss something on your behalf to regain your honor upon an insult.
3:14-3:28 Second most British thing in this scene is laughing after pelting one another with pastries
What I love most about this clip is that after Aunt Adelaide gets hit in the face with a pastry, she doesn't go off on a rant or leave in a huff.
No, she directs one of her staff to return fire for her. (And then, of course, there's the fact that her staff member just pulled it out from behind hid his back, as if he had it in his pocket waiting for such an occasion.)
If I were her, I would’ve thorn two pastries at selma just cause I’m petty sometimes
This was my favourite part of nanny mcphee. R.I.P Aunt Adelaide
He was told exactly “Behave Behive” and he understood the assignment
I've always loved how Nanny McPhee is indirectly telling him what to, is okay with it, and helps him just by saying "you must do exactly as you're told".
I love how even when cake was splashed across her outfit, Dame Angela Lansbury (Aunt Adelaide) calmly gives the order to throw a cake back without saying a word whilst pulling a face that just screams "You've started a war you cannot win"
That is so hilarious when Colin Firth hit her hat.
Cedric Your so Funny! 🤣

miss selma: BEHAVE'
aggy: BEEHIVE!
miss selma: BEHAVE!
miss selma:BE...HAVE!
aggy: FEEL...THOSE...BEES!!
I always loved the flowers being portrayed in this part.
2:45 *Lord love a duck!*
I never understood what that meant when I was little, or why it was said.
What does that even mean? Was it just a way to keep swearing out of the movie? Because several kid's shows and movies do that.
I just realized that I was also said in Finding Nemo.
@@diamondbentley7469 -
"Lord love a duck" is an exclamation used when nothing else will fit. Often fitting when one is stunned or dismayed.
The history of the exclamation "Lord love a duck" is unclear, but it may be a euphemism for a rhyming curse word or for the mild oath For the love of Christ!
Behave!!
Beehive!!
BEHAVE!!
BEEHIVE!!
So is no one going to talk about the lambs being dyed pink and green?
I thought it was yellow...like her hair
IDK why that disturbed me as a kid, probably because I've known sheep to be white or black
Those pastries did look good. Even if I'm not a sweets person.
U could imagine how happy the children felt seeing their dad hit Mrs Quickly then seeing him and Evangeline throw food together and also using that to finally act as if he was playing sports with Simon.
And also seeing him enjoy himself instead of worrying or being stressed he's just enjoying life with the ppl he loved and not doing what his aunt expects.
"Lesson 5 Simon, Do exactly as you are told" Nanny McPhee. Love both the movies! ❤️❤️
Magical Nanny’s orders lesson Simon.
Always listen to the Magical Nannies.
Only father and small baby made me a laugh a lot do you see any bees🐝🐝 yes I do slap🤣🤣🤣🤣
He was saying I do to the bees instead😂. She ain’t good enough for him
My favorite parts of the movie are the donkey and the wedding 🤣🤣🤣
1:59 Simon looks at Hag’s wedding dress- “It’s flowers! Flowers on her dress, they’re attracting them!” lol 😆
2:05 Selma give her serous face look: “There aren’t any bees, you fool! Get on with it!”😠
God I love this film so hilarious
This is so funniest Bees and Cakes. 😆🤣
WOW, so that was Newt's life before the maze? Who would've thought? (The joke wrote itself! I love Thomas Brodie Sangster's acting! Very talented even at a young age).
Very memorable that he abandons his "Never say please" vow 12 years later before becoming a crank

If I had a nickel for everytime a Mr. Darcy actor played a widower in a later film I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice

I always hated the bride’s tacky dress.
Looks like it was caught in the middle of a paint factory explosion.
Looks like a Lisa Frank art piece had a stroke.
Meanest roasts for the dress go.
The bride was tacky anyway
They used tow of the worst colors together. Pepto and pea soup.
The way they said Beehive just suddenly popped into my head and I had to hunt it down
I Love This movie
I read an interview with Ken Jennings from the original cast of 'Sweeney Todd' - he said during pauses in the tech rehearsal Angela Lansbury would get into playful food fights and start flinging scraps of Mrs. Lovett's pie-dough at the cast and the conductor.
Oh My lord your higherness
Silly Emma thompson
If Mr Bean is there with the bees, He would be poking in the air with a knife!
When they are playing with her hair.

Somehow I get the feeling the sheep didn't much care for being dyed pink and green.

Why do I feel like this is a rip off of Mary poppins
Because both are nannies but they are both Good Movies.
Mary Poppins is for more well behaved children. Nanny McPhee is for badly behaved children. Just how I see things. Correct me if I'm wrong. I haven't seen Mary Poppins since I was a kid.
@@saphiriathebluedragonknight375 you’re not wrong at all. Mary Poppins helps well behaved children with home problems nanny McPhee helps badly behaved children who are naughty because of family backstories in this case a passed away mother

Nanny Mcphee is a combo of Mary Poppins, Sound of Music, and Parent trap. But, it is based on the book called "Nurse Matilda."
