I'm getting so tired of this rhetoric. Anyone who has ever interacted with an AI can very quickly see that they have serious limitations, especially in the realms of artistic expression.

blender users have no art soul anyway. 95% of people in those blender groups only care about skill, UVs and stuff, no one appreciate art. In Art communities people can like a simple drawing, if it has some spirit... a "simple" scene in 3d with a cube? Blender community member always say "its just a cube", not beeing able to appreciate the art of the scene etc. very frustrating.
@@artavenuebln Actually can because we have no reason to assume it can't. We have an AI can tell what emotion a person is feeling, so it could learn how to replicate what someone would do with their art piece when feeling that emotion.

So stop worrying that AI is going to take your job, evolve with it. Utilise the gifts and opportunities. It might be uncomfortable but its a chance to grow.. its pushing you to open your mind and help each other in different ways.
Ai will reach a stage where it will stop developing because it will need more data. It is impossible for it to invent new ideas or new methods out of thin air. Therefore, it will inevitably need to be updated with new data. It will always remain behind humans and their creativity
@@RangarHz You remember what you said last year? Ai cant make cartoon(Sora released within 5 years and if real than human cgi *IT JUST 1 ADVANCED STATE☠️) They learn fast from real human profession .Human pattern and knowledge They have no creativity but they can analyst million piece all at once and find perfect solution
It is just another tool to make your work faster. But AI can't express your thoughts and emotions, as long as you are a real artist and not a lazy 3D user you'll be fine.
In the near future, 3D artists won't be completely replaced, as the expertise of skilled 3D modelers will still be crucial for refining generated 3D models. AI serves as a foundational tool for 3D modelers in the creation process.
I will continue to create my own 3D models because I want to be a better artist. I don't want to rob myself of my own self development. Plus these companies get greedy over time. Imagine how they will control creativity over the years as artists stop learning to hone their own skills. Nope, I'm good taking the slow road!
I mean in about a year things will have advanced to the point where people should start biting their nails, lol, but for now the technology is in its infancy so current industries are still OK. In my opinion, what's happening with AI is basically the goal every creator that sees the big picture would ever want to get to. Over the years we've accelerated development much like manually writing copies of documents in the past became obsolete when the printing press came about... and even MORE obsolete when typing became digital and you could just copy infinitely. So that goal I mentioned before for every creator is the ability to create at the speed of thought. Many times we get struck with creativity but we just don't have the means to materialize it before it fades from our minds completely. Now with AI that elusive goal is within reach. We're gonna have so much content to look through that we'll spend more time browsing through it than watching it, lol. Or perhaps with the help of AI it'll become even faster to find it... we will see.
At this point just replace every job with ai, get rid of all jobs and bring us to that Wall-E future where we can just chill. Not fair that we got into this industry
it will learn blender in and out in 1 day given the instructions. the only thing stopping it is learning the particular software so yes it will soon take over the whole pipeline.
I’m a multi media 3d artist. I also have an artist cafe group. I don’t really need the photographer for concept art etc. I don’t need a texture artist anymore. 3d artists in my group now they have to learn how to modify 3d Ai models. 3d lighting and rendering still needed! Rigging is a must! 3d modeling still need with less responsibilities. Even storylines artists aren’t needed. Concept artists aren’t needed smh either way we stick together.
Artificial intelligence is far from replacing anyone. I've tried some things made by one and most things are just terrible. For now, he can just help and ease someone's work, but nothing more.
All AI machine learning, currently work on statistics and probability, just computation is very fast, you can get mathematical painting, true artist creates novelty. people can see it, feel it. This 3d AI generated will mostly going to be another industrial cheap product sitting in shelf of some big mall shops.
im scared my dream job is 3d artist and I want to make cool stuff for people because its so fun to model, but now there is ai for 3d models and I'm sad that I might not have my dream anymore
ok they just make ai robot to sit there and do it... so lots of people going to lose dreams...and they should find new one if they can.... I like ai help artists not to fire them!
I am also a 3d designer and animator , but in my thought this is cheating , lets hire a human to do it , or one day Ai will remain humanity will gone from earth , i am still wonder why people create things that is not helpful for humanity , what the point , because people who make it also humans , there acting like their are from another planet .
we might still need humans to correct distorted models which Ai generated as of now. but if Ai reaches 100% accuracy. every one is gone for good. if not the other way could cut the pay of artists. coz less efforts less pay. companies would invest 25% of your pay to Ai if works are going faster.
I believe 3d Artists will not be replaced yet; I've tried seeing how it works and tested it. The meshes are really bad, and you end up having to re-model or re-topo, which you could spend time making the model from scratch. I will, however, Say for now it could be used as background props for rendering. However a background prop that has shitty optimization and bad topology for games? No, you want the closer and more important objects to be highly detailed, not the ones in the back if this is for a game and neither tax your erngine. If this is for 3D printing, the meshes need serious fixing, and tbh again, it would, at this time of the tech, be more beneficial to re-do it yourself. Once you get proficient with 3D modelling and making, let's say, Super Mario would take you easily less than a full day. The texturing and UV unwrapping you could get done on that day also if its simple colors and stylized. In a few years perhaps AI might take over who knows, but that's a bit in the future, and if you enjoy creating, then dont give up modelling. AI will probably just be a tool to quicken the process in the future. I don't like AI either, but it's an extra tool to put in your toolkit for perhaps later.
they wont be fired all at oncr but little by little. the job positions are going to start shrinking more and more there always going to need for people but is just going to be a. very small group which will make getting a getting a job nrealy impossible .....this is not a good industry to get into.
There will still be menial jobs, like "AI Prompt Generator" Someone who gets paid to generate ai prompts, double check the work, and then pass it off to the artists
@@PixiiBomb for how long? People don't understand that we are training a machine to behave like a human, and then better than a human. We will reach a point where an A.I. will be trained to generate the prompts better than a human based on the work already done. Do you understand that? It will learn by seeing what someone requested, seeing what prompt that another person created and then seeing what the result was and what the artist created with that, and then will learn to do all that process in seconds. WE ARE CREATING HUMANS THAT ARE SMARTER, FASTER AND DON'T GET TIRED. There is literally no work that you can't train a "better human" to do that a normal human can learn.
@@newone5262idk man, ai cant think for itself but if ai can have feelings wouldn't all humans be against that since humans are at the top of the food chain?
It's only going to get better. If you have a job in 3d modeling, start looking for a new field. Buggy whip makers weren't so happy with the automobile. Progress happens.
Man... I still can't get It and everytime I try It the results are basic or not worth It. Create a Mario character? Man that is very basic and I don't think any company will ask you for that. They will ask you for what, create rocks, props? Well... Its better to have a good library asset browser drag and dropping what you know will work than spend 20 min for AI to create something that may work, may not, or even worst, may work partially, than you spend more time adjusting It to fit on Its purpose. Anyways, at the end of the day I will continuing focusing in learn new skills and actually graduate myself to create anything I want, then spend this time learning AI theories and how to create better prompts to help me get somewhere that is not 100% guaranteed.
Makes ZERO sense. I can just install an Add On in Blender like Blender Kit or even pay for some models with no subscription. I only have to wait about 5 seconds to get a model I can choose from. Can you tell me why would I want to pay a subscription and wait for 20 mins and If I don't like the result come right back to using Blender. It makes way more sense to just use Blender.
Blender users should be placed in studios in the industry before being replaced lol not happening... the use in studios that is... at least those that count. keep dreaming guys.
I think people just don’t appreciate how fast ai is developing. 2 years ago ai couldn’t make good poses, 1 years ago ai couldn’t generate hands. As a pixel artist I said ai could never do what I do accurately and now I’ve come actross ai making pixel perfect art that’s no far off the quality of my own. Let’s not kid ourselves it’s happening but fortunately in 3D land someone’s going to have to go over and clean that topology so we’re not out of a job yet
topology should be the easiest to quantify even without ai .. throw in a mini ai which segments the character first before using quad-mesher and boom .. also who wants to just do only retopology? working for mcdonalds is more fun lol .. retopo is one of those things which SHOULD be done by ai , its an absolute robotic task with zero fullfilment
I started learning Blender last year and quit after a few months after learning what AI can do, haven't touched it since Fuck AI, it needs to be banned
Showing memes and talking about how stunning something is doesn't hide the fact that you're presenting a low-poly model with limited animation capabilities. In my opinion, for asset creation, machine learning might become an invaluable tool, offering worlds that appear more lived-in. However, for 'stunning animations,' you might need more creative talent than just the ability to generate prompts. Just so you know, I'm not anti-technologist. I use ChatGPT to soften my rude comments. Also, I call them Chagi instead of AI or ChatGPT
I love AI art - it helps me get inspired and gives me ideas to model. For example, that model of Mario you downloaded - the texture was complete 💩. Import it into Substance Painter, or 3D Coat, and give a fresh paint job -- maybe clean the mesh up a bit.
Eh looks barely good enough to generate a base mesh for me to sculpt on and there's already software out there that does a better job at that. My texturing work is not of a very high level outside of stylised art, but it's far superior than what is being showcased here. I don't feel threatened at all. What I think is more likely if this sees improvement is that background assets will be generated like this, but actual important assets, and especially hero assets will still be man made.
AI can replace your terrible editing. Some people just shouldn't be allowed to use a computer for creative design. AI will help to filter out the talentless crap from the internet.
@youmaycallmev we are talking about individual artists here. Buyers of mainstream art don't even know about the amount of work that goes into the creation of a single image or animation from concept to end product.
Shrimple answer: i dont like it. get up and stop using tools that steal from artists Yapping answer: if AI generation didnt steal from people id be fine with it, but the fact that it just yoinks stuff from artists and makes some ugly garbled mess throws me off completely. i could see some genuinely useful tools with AI generation for concepting and such if it didnt pull from already existing artwork. too bad thats never gonna happen
What would be really cool is if I could write in text what I want a tool to do and that an AI will generate code for a tool or function, which I can then add to my shelf to use whenever.
No. It won't. Because blender can't even work it's way into the major studios system. And if this is aiming at blender then it's not even aiming at a competitor.
Ai creates reference views...forward back left right up down...cross section gives depth...ai algorithm identifies geometric shapes...cube cylinder disc sphere hemisphere etc...ai algorithm places geometric shapes in correct location...runs zbrush dynamesh algorithm...shapes merge into a single model...algorithm gets depth from reference images...and projects fine details and colour information...total high poly sculpt model from keywords in less than a minute...
It won't bother me in any way if ai replace treditional way to make artworks and suddenly solo 3d artist started creating 1000 assets per day. I think instead of fighting against ai , it is our responsibility as artists to keep up with technology , study ai , but keep evolving passionately as treditional artist and passing this mother nature gifted skill to next generation to generation🫡. It might be uncomfortable but its a chance to grow.. its pushing you to open your mind and help each other in different ways.
And how optimised are the models are? How the model adjust to the situation? Those things the ai fails
Ai will reach a stage where it will stop developing because it will need more data. It is impossible for it to invent new ideas or new methods out of thin air. Therefore, it will inevitably need to be updated with new data. It will always remain behind humans and their creativity
it's called machine learning and the machines WILL LEARN and learn anything including learning how to create new ideas
@@CasanovaPugilist147 no it will go backwards more data i gets called diminishing returns
@@CasanovaPugilist147
Bro they dont have brain to learn how make ideas 😂
Its just data
@@RangarHz You remember what you said last year?
Ai cant make cartoon(Sora released within 5 years and if real than human cgi *IT JUST 1 ADVANCED STATE☠️)
They learn fast from real human profession .Human pattern and knowledge They have no creativity but they can analyst million piece all at once and find perfect solution
I assure you that the last step will be done by A.I. very quickly, and 5 to 10 years?.... A.I. is growing exponentially!... Greetings.
appreciate the comment bro, this is def something to consider as well :)
Guys, we're in uncharted territory in the advancement of human achievement and its only the beginning...
It is just another tool to make your work faster. But AI can't express your thoughts and emotions, as long as you are a real artist and not a lazy 3D user you'll be fine.
Enter some prompts, accept the result proposed by the AI and lie to yourself that this was your vision and that you are an artist.
Or perhaps with the help of AI it'll become even faster to find it... we will see.
great perspectives, appreciate the comment :)
@@Benji_3D Thanks. And thanks for the video. Keeping a close eye on AI development. Things are changing crazy fast.
aahh i think ai is not replaceing but ai developers are!!!!!!!!!!
No because the real art is with in the soul of you
At the end of the day there is a small detail, a mesh geometry is not a model. Mesh is a mesh😅
Bro is motion graphic designing is different than 3d animation ? Does motion graphic design have more future ?
such an underrated channel, nice work
Artificial intelligence is far from replacing anyone. I've tried some things made by one and most things are just terrible. For now, he can just help and ease someone's work, but nothing more.
should i just start learning how to code instead?
Code even worst. Ai now can do these creative things. Code its so technical which is that what ai so good at
All AI machine learning, currently work on statistics and probability, just computation is very fast,
you can get mathematical painting, true artist creates novelty.
people can see it, feel it.
This 3d AI generated will mostly going to be another industrial cheap product sitting in shelf of some big mall shops.
For Now No! But AI is in his childhood
AI is definitely replacing good artistes with mediocre ones.
Better is to have BOTH your work made 3D models and and AI generator etc too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU alright okay HAPPY
basically we are fucked!
im scared
my dream job is 3d artist and I want to make cool stuff for people because its so fun to model, but now there is ai for 3d models and I'm sad that I might not have my dream anymore
Out with the old in with the new
I knew that being a generalist will someday pay off,im excited for AI 😊
"you still need an artist to bring it all together" Bro, the ending...... I have heard it somewhere else 😁
Where?
lol what about design consistency , cant just have random styles
ok they just make ai robot to sit there and do it... so lots of people going to lose dreams...and they should find new one if they can....
I like ai help artists not to fire them!
I am also a 3d designer and animator , but in my thought this is cheating , lets hire a human to do it , or one day Ai will remain humanity will gone from earth , i am still wonder why people create things that is not helpful for humanity , what the point , because people who make it also humans , there acting like their are from another planet .
if its taking you weeks to make that mario you deserve to be replaced 🤣😂
I would love to see the wireframe of that Mario model 😊
If you Need weeks for creating a 3d mario you Are already replaced…
True 😂😂😂, but bro look at that model, it looks like someone took her mom's iphone, and 3d scanned a toy from his bedroom,😂😂😂
Ai should help us. Not replace us.
we might still need humans to correct distorted models which Ai generated as of now. but if Ai reaches 100% accuracy. every one is gone for good. if not the other way could cut the pay of artists. coz less efforts less pay. companies would invest 25% of your pay to Ai if works are going faster.
Anyway, AI will help us not replace us, if you asked chatgpt yourself "can ai replace us?" He will say to you, "No AI hasn't made To replace you."
I don't like AI either, but it's an extra tool to put in your toolkit for perhaps later.
adapt survive!
they wont be fired all at oncr but little by little. the job positions are going to start shrinking more and more there always going to need for people but is just going to be a. very small group which will make getting a getting a job nrealy impossible .....this is not a good industry to get into.
Dont become a 3d artist just be a artist ❤ use this awsome tools
Lazy people will get fired, repetitive jobs will disappear, only the top creative and hard work people will still have a job. I'm fu****
brooo 😭😂
There will still be menial jobs, like "AI Prompt Generator"
Someone who gets paid to generate ai prompts, double check the work, and then pass it off to the artists
Damm. Welp that’s going to be helpful aha
woahhh look who it is
It's only going to get better. If you have a job in 3d modeling, start looking for a new field. Buggy whip makers weren't so happy with the automobile. Progress happens.
they would still not be able to make baldi's basics type of models
"A very high quality version"... dude. It's visibly NOT high quality
Anyways, at the end of the day I will continuing focusing in learn new skills and actually graduate myself to create anything I want, then spend this time learning AI theories and how to create better prompts to help me get somewhere that is not 100% guaranteed.
make a new Space 1999 with the original cast please, CLICK !
Let’s not kid ourselves it’s happening but fortunately in 3D land someone’s going to have to go over and clean that topology so we’re not out of a job yet
great points here. clearest example of moore's law
topology should be the easiest to quantify even without ai .. throw in a mini ai which segments the character first before using quad-mesher and boom .. also who wants to just do only retopology? working for mcdonalds is more fun lol .. retopo is one of those things which SHOULD be done by ai , its an absolute robotic task with zero fullfilment
@@alexmehler6765same man, i hate retopo. I hope they quickly do the ai for retopo so i dont have sit whole day just to retopo some clothes
I started learning Blender last year and quit after a few months after learning what AI can do, haven't touched it since

Using gpt to speak and communicate is a shame on you, totally... Amongst all things let not replace human communication 😅
Hi
what up
@@Benji_3D hi
I love AI art - it helps me get inspired and gives me ideas to model. For example, that model of Mario you downloaded - the texture was complete 💩. Import it into Substance Painter, or 3D Coat, and give a fresh paint job -- maybe clean the mesh up a bit.
fs bro, 100% agree :)
For me, ai "art" it gives me uncany valley. It just looks so lifeless.
@@alinbot5836 Nobody asked.
@@froztbytes broo 😂
then use it as a base to make something good instead of whining,@@alinbot5836
Eh looks barely good enough to generate a base mesh for me to sculpt on and there's already software out there that does a better job at that.
My texturing work is not of a very high level outside of stylised art, but it's far superior than what is being showcased here. I don't feel threatened at all.
What I think is more likely if this sees improvement is that background assets will be generated like this, but actual important assets, and especially hero assets will still be man made.
AI can replace your terrible editing. Some people just shouldn't be allowed to use a computer for creative design. AI will help to filter out the talentless crap from the internet.
thanks for the comment!
A.I. doesn't replace an artist's work. It has no heart and soul. 😊
Tf?😂 Companies dont give af about heart and soul they just care the profit. As long as it can makes profit they'll use it
@youmaycallmev
But it can't give them profits, because their products has no heart and no soul
@youmaycallmev we are talking about individual artists here. Buyers of mainstream art don't even know about the amount of work that goes into the creation of a single image or animation from concept to end product.
Shrimple answer: i dont like it. get up and stop using tools that steal from artists
Yapping answer:
if AI generation didnt steal from people id be fine with it, but the fact that it just yoinks stuff from artists and makes some ugly garbled mess throws me off completely. i could see some genuinely useful tools with AI generation for concepting and such if it didnt pull from already existing artwork. too bad thats never gonna happen
blender should merge with AI. #d low poly animation with hand drawn ai compositors = cheap cost high quality animation.
What would be really cool is if I could write in text what I want a tool to do and that an AI will generate code for a tool or function, which I can then add to my shelf to use whenever.
AUDIO IS TORTURE.
Sub earned.
appreciate it bro 💪
This is a lie, just don't fall for corporative bs. Open source will lead the way for ai art
Sure, ai for low quality work

SO TIRED OF THE FOMO VIDEOS EVERY DAY.
No. It won't. Because blender can't even work it's way into the major studios system. And if this is aiming at blender then it's not even aiming at a competitor.
trash 3d models
And one more thing, this ain't ai generated😂
