Computer, robot and artificial intelligence definitely excel
Because you, human, use logic to understand colors, materials, geometry, modeling, etc
You use logic to understand color theory and so on
For you, it's just an appreciation for showing beauty
While computers and robots do this mathematically and perfectly
There is no competition with artificial intelligence, and it will soon take over everything, and humans will do nothing but yoga!

dude it puts a loaf of bread in your oven. most of your decorations in the kitchen are ruined. I tried it on a recent project and I had to remove everything I used it for, it is low quality, low res, mumbo jumbo meaningless shapes (look at your eggplant). it improves one area and ruins 9. try it with high rises it will fail miserably.
but you know whomever believes the hype and wants to split me in half for my criticisms good luck and power to you. I am pretty sure you are making so much money lol.
the worst part when the client asks for more details to be added or things to be fixed, or worse when the client asks for, you know, intentional designs to be put in the project.

magnifica ai is overhyped, especially if you have humans in your renders. i hope it improves because it could be a mssive timesaver, but for now i've not been impressed

I remember when I first started with 3d max (it was called 3d studio back then) things were so slow and renders looked cartoonish at best... ten years later and things improved by leaps...
now wait 5 or ten years and AI will be doing the impossible...
      just my two cents
      regards

I think its a tool to be used in moderation. Some parts of the image it has definitely improved, it's easy to mask out the unwanted changes in PS. You're missing the point of how this tool can be leveraged.

    • @MelbourneArchviz
      @MelbourneArchviz 6 месяцев назад +7

@@J0shh1 listen I know you can mask out stuff, in practicality what you said doesn't work, if you work in this business you know the client is going to make a ton of changes and a lot of them are specific and intentional, you will end up rephotoshopping a lot of stuff and wasting a lot of time and never getting exactly what you or the client wants.
Here's a challenge for you, on your next project, use this tool, and come back to us let us know if you lost a client. I did and I had to remove every AI element I added. It is simply not practical.
Even if you sharpen areas and add details to them you will have to go through the AI step one more time and one more time and one more time as the client makes changes or design changes and every single time the result will be different.
Fuck me for putting my two cents in nobody likes my comments, then later on they do what I say and claim they came to this conclusion by themselves. I have been doing this and going against the current for 30 years.

AI and videos like this lead to the end of humanity. Any stupid AI trick that you can teach an artist, is 1 step closer to making artists obsolete. A CEO will have no need to hire artists, if he can spend 10 minutes in a room and make all the 3D models he needs for his dream project. Then another 10 minutes he has built a dozen levels for his game, or a dozen new layouts for his next mansion. Why waste time communicating with professionals if AI can just steal all their skills and training and do the work way faster?

@@dschaydschee I'm not really trying to hold back technology, but adjust the mindset of people using technology. ----- A good analogy is this: We should want technology to do the boring jobs (like pick up garbage) so we humans can do the fun jobs! (art, design). But right now we are building AI to do the fun jobs, and we humans will have no use left to offer.
