When I watched his movie ‘Crank’, I didn’t expect to like it........was I ever wrong. Sure the movie’s premise was so far fetched but he made it work!!! His ‘Transporter’ films are all good. In ‘Spy’, him being so very serious while saying such ridiculous things steals scene after scene yet everyone else is great too.
No big surprise that Jason Statham is funny, just watch Snatch! Such a funny movie!! One of my favorites :)

Voicu Violeta They're there for an interview and to talk about their projects (sensibly, the interviewer does less of the talking and more of the listening) . It's not a fan club where he just goes on and on about how great the person is in whatever they did (every single person that comes on the darn show, might I add). Anyway, to each their own. I love the way conan and kimmel interview their guests and that's just my preference. Fallon always disappoints.
ashurfim The point was that he doesn't praise his guests & their work, so he can be the center of attention...it doesn't make sense. Yes, he has a diff. interview style vs. the rest: he helps promote the project by giving a perspective/review also from a viewers pov (his), not only the person that worked on the project, who of course is very biased and can't really praise him/herself. This is a good thing b/c it's diff. from the guests repeating the same thing about the project they had said dozens of times during the promo tour...but they need to work on it a bit, to create a balance b/c it is strange when the guest really doesn't say anything.
He is also very concerned w/ his guests being comfortable & having a good time at the show and if they are the shy type or don't have/want to talk about much, he picks up the slack and intervenes to help.

I absolutely loved this movie! Jason was hilarious in it. Melissa was so funny that I laughed so hard I almost peed. Definitely one of my favorites.🤣

Voicu Violeta but it's true. It's like Fallon said to Jason prior to the show: "Look, Jason, this is how it's gonna be-you just sit there and be handsome and I'll do all the talking. Piece of cake".
I like Jimmy telling stories or what he liked about the projects (nice to know & good promo), but it can get awkward when the guest, there to promote the project, really doesn't get to say anything about the project (seems like the Mellissa story wasn't on the talking list and Jason wouldn't have said anything otherwise)...it's such an easy fix, for eg. after Jimmy talked about what he liked, Jason could've done the plot summary.
You guys seriously need to work on the interviews a little bit before Autumn (if you know what I mean), so the Jimmy to guest talk ratio is at least equal, less fawning w/o actually saying anything (not the case here) and make sure there's at least one witty/interesting question to the guest (there were none in this whole ''interview'')...you need to have a higher rate of good interviews.
I'm a huge fan and these interviews coupled w/ the increase in silly since LN (monos. improved, but the sketch part is suffering a lot!!!), is starting to bother me to the point that I avoid watching for fear of cringe & b/c I don't want to be disappointed by you guys and I know other huge fans who feel the same...hope you get a handle on the interviews & sketches soon.***** Jimmy Fallon

NeXtZ Neah, I think that's going too far, it's his natural mannerism. We should provide constructive criticism re. their work. Lots of ppl smack their knee or a table when they laugh...would you tell your friend to stop doing smth. like that, try and change their nature, or would you just accept it as part of them? Same thing w/ a TV host, you either like them and don't mind/notice their mannerisms & quirks or you don't like them and don't watch...they are ppl too.

I don't know why people say jimmy Fallon's laugh is fake or he over laughs, I feel like it's so genuine and he just doesn't hold back.
He has an awkward laugh.People don't like awkward . most will never admit that someone's natural laugh makes them feel uncomfortable so they dismiss it as being fake. Putting all the blame of their discomfort on poor ol Jimmy who's just enjoying life
I think he has a genuine naughty laugh - He just talks too much above his Guests.
You feel like it's genuine cause you don't have natural psychology and behavior observation skills. It's obviously fake and he's over doing it to compensate / as a coping mechanism for being awkward not being smart enough to know the right words to say. Like an awkward man kid who's forced to interact with someone he doesn't know. So he fills the silent moments and moments he doesn't know what to say with overreaction and fake laughter.
Although living in the states, still kept his lovely English accent.
