When I think about going full time, I think about my carbon footprint.
    Thoughts?

Well - getting a smaller/newer rig will dictate how much gas you are burning through. But I suppose you’d have to consider the trade offs. We work remotely now so we don’t have morning and evening commutes like before. You can pace how often/far you drive your rig. You will be using substantially less electricity- we have 30 amp rig so we really monitor our usage. It’s small living quarters so you can easily open windows on a nice day without running AC. It doesn’t take much to heat it. We only turn on the water heater when we are getting ready to shower so we don’t burn through propane. I would say over all we have a smaller carbon footprint than we did before full-timing but I haven’t sat down to do the math. The lifestyle as a whole makes you much more aware of your resource consumption as a whole. Plus smart cars are great flat tow vehicles. Those are just a few things off the top of my head. If reducing your carbon footprint is a priority to you, I could totally see this lifestyle being conducive to that. 😊

Also we have 4 100w solar panel which helps on our electrical usage as well.
