Getting a comfortable muzzle is definitely a significant part of muzzle conditioning. If the muzzle isn't comfortable then it doesn't matter how much positive association you've done, your dog won't like wearing the muzzle. Unfortunately, my dog trainer said that the baskerville ultra muzzle I got (based on his sizing) was right and my dog just had to get used to it, but my dog has never been comfortable in it, and I wish I had started out with a well fitted muzzle.

I've been using the baskerville ultra on my dog for 3 + months, and although the size I got was long enough and gives him enough room to pant (barely), i don't think it's wide enough for his head. I just ordered a Leerburg polymer coated wire muzzle and I really hope it works out!

My girl Taz just had this surgery last week! We're on day 6 today! She did that little snort thing your bby did in the beginning of the video when she returnthe day of surgery. Taz doesnt want ice & is refusing any ROM exercises. Dr. told me thats perfectly fine! She's a very independent dog. On day 2, she was stretching her leg backwards & putting her foot down onto the floor. Shes very careful not to over exert herself & were following all the rules. I swear at times I feel like my girl looks into my eyes & is so thankful because her leggy actually feels better than before her operation! 🥹💘 Taz had ACL & MCL repaired. She has had it since birth in both legs. With high hopes for her, I feel she can help her other leg. I'm crying watching your girls 1st run back at being a happy healthy dog!! Taz loves to run! ❤ I can't wait!!!

You was supposed to let it dry for two weeks before an apply anything to it and didn’t prime.

I know this comment is a day late but for anyone else watching here it is! This will seem fairly obvious to a lot of people but the issue wasn't your paint, it was your Silicone application! 💔 You applied way to much sealant. This is probably because you cut the chip too big and maybe you didn't cut it at an angle. You don't need the tape if you're applaying a tiny amount. You also don't need that grout tool or your finger if you are moving the tube quickly with just a fine line. Always practice first. Secure two long 2x4's together perpendicular and practice on that inside edge. Last tip, use silicone sealant, not that bathroom tub and tile stuff.

Aw, I felt so bad watching you work to paint knowing you skipped the priming process… However, I didn’t expect you to find it out so quickly until I watched you taping off the caulk edges. We are currently on this proceso with my cockers spaniel we are on day 4 and I am already frustrated, I have cried, is hard watching him like sad or I don't know he is like down, and to see him with the paw still not walking is very hard. Your video calmed me a little bit to see that this will take time... But I cry almost everyday, this has been dificult but necesary because you cant leave them without surgery.

Thank you i lived near and hiked/biked/climbed Glacier Park for 35+ years. lots of bears (more than Yellowstone in half the area). mountain lions, and wolves dogs don't mix with any of those..... there is good reason to restrain dogs in these areas - for everyone's protection thank you for respecting others

Wow! There is hope for my dingy yellow shower, yuck. Still need to also replace the water pump as well. The old one makes Too much noise! Yours looks real nice, oh and I also had that peel the big chunk of paint off issue on something else I'd painted with the same look on my face as you did, lol.

What a shame about the tape. I felt really sorry for you. I had never thought of using Marine Paint. You did a top job. The irony for me is that I spent 20 years fitting widows, and an expert with a silicone / caulk gun. I wish you had have known a guy who could have done that 2 minute job for you. It can be soul destroying when such things happen but you dealt with it really well. Well Done and thank you.

I believe that you should wait 3 days before even using a tub or shower after using the Top Coat Marine paint....I think that might have done the trick instead of re-doing it. But I'm glad I saw this before I started my project, I realize that sanding is an important part of this process!
