Excellent!! Pace was perfect and the examples helped make functionality clear. I feel like I have retained all info much better than other videos … Saved this for reference but I really think I’ve got it!! Thank you.
Battery life on free frame is quite a bit shorter (still enough for what I’m doing though). And I discovered the voice commands Start Recording and Stop Recording both stop and start the camera. Eg when my camera was running I said start recording, and that command stopped the recording. I’m now just saying Start Recording and then pressing button to turn off so I don’t have to trim my Stop Recording voice from the clips Having fun with it. Did time lapse and interval shots today. Last night made an evening bike ride video
Awesome video. Thank you. I have watched a lot of videos on the Go3 and I haven’t seen any other talking about the app, and learnt a few new tips and tricks here. Thank you. I can’t wait for my camera to arrive in a couple days.
That was the best video about this camera I have seen on YT! I am waiting for my 64-gig version, I can't wait. I had no idea how deep this camera is! Subbed!
Very good tutorial, love the integration of your narrative and clips. I had a very specific question which you answered quite readily! A previous version of the software had the option for stabilization in the quick access menu, but now it is located under the Ratio option. Thanks so much for your good work!
I got my black version last week, which is less slippery than the white plastic. I love this camera, having moved up from the first GO which I lost in the spring. Great explanation and so easy to follow at just the right pace too, like all your videos.
Werner... how on earth do you/can you make a long complex presentation - so smoothly and in perfect timing - as if you memorized or were a recording?? There is no way I could present that flawlessly! btw, super helpful vid, thank you much.
Hi Werner, excellent, no-nonsense and informative video as usual - thank you. I noticed that the Narrow FOV was present in the camera/firmware version that you are using in this video and this doesn't show in my own Go 3 that I have recently purchased (01.09.2023). After some investigation it would appear that the Narrow FOV (and zooming ability?) have been removed in the latest firmware version. I wonder if it is worth you doing an update to this video on this change and any limitations that you think might be relevant with regard to shooting, post production and editing (in both the app and the Studio utilities)? Many thanks for all of your great work. Best regards, Paul
I simply don’t have a large pack of functions, neither in the application nor in the desktop program. As I understand it, full functionality is only available in iOS?
I've been having an issue with my insta360 Go 3. Any shot outside, the sky it's too bright, I would say white. I already tried everything. Nice video, thanks for sharing. What could it be the problem with my Insta360? Thanks
@@MountMediaChannel Hello again, thank you for input. I will give it a try tomorrow as right now it is night time for me. I need to try at day time. Thanks again.
I really enjoyed your presentation! I would like to know if you could explain to me why my machine only shows three options (ultra, action and linear) narrow does not appear. Thanks
Hi I have a Go 3s. And in freeframe mode, I click on the screen and the grid and the ability to rotate the image do not appear. Why is that? Could you tell?
I have the same problem so i reached out to insta 360 tech support, here is the reply that I've got: Hi there, thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to inform you that the GO 3S does not currently support the addition of keyframes in post-production. The reason is that the GO 3S uses a wide-angle lens module, which captures source footage in a 4:3 rectangular format. Adjusting the viewpoint with keyframes in post would require significant cropping of the original footage, leading to a loss in image quality. Thus, we have omitted the keyframe functionality in post-editing to ensure that free aspect ratio footage can be presented with the best possible image quality. Hope it helps!
Hi. I want to turn off the sound (people talking) on the final video which has a music overlay. How do I mute the recorded sound on a recorded video? Thanks
I've had the Go3 for almost 2 weeks now and so far there are 2 things that it is missing from the Go2.... First, I cannot set one of the buttons to start a time lapse or a time shift; it appears this is only possible through the app or the case. Second, I really liked the power mount for the Go2.... it allowed me to mount the camera to my bike and power the camera with a USB battery.
Maybe they will release it, because for the Go2 it was released later if you remember... Few question that I can't find anywhere, the action mod comes with a different box than the std? The haptic feedback is over because they put a beep? And last one, never saw anyone turning off the damn lights in the front, not possible anymore? (sorry on the avalanche of questions 😅)
Informative and useful as always thank you, but unless I'm mistaken there wasn't any mention of battery life? With action pod vs w/o? Overheating? That was why the Go 2 was a no-go for me.
Great overview of the camera! I was wondering if you had any trouble filming with the necklace mount. Did the adapter help get a better shot, and did you have any issues with it bouncing around, or creating shaky shots? Thanks
At 6:09 where you change the FOV, you have the option of "Narrow" which is not showing up on my Go3. It was on my Go2 and i miss it. Can you tell me if you are using a newer Firmware Version? Or is there a setting to enable this?
Ive struggle with loammy mtbking setting everytime i record one it looks dark and very low detail even at 1080p 50 with low light mode on any suggestion help
My thing is can I transfer videos quicky to my phone or portable ssd? I got the 64gb model and I feel I may have messed up and want to be able to transfer videos off quicky
Great review Werner! I have a few question that I can't find anywhere... the action mod comes with a different box than the std? The haptic feedback is over because they put a beep? And last one, never saw anyone turning off the damn lights in the front, not possible anymore? (sorry on the avalanche of questions 😅)
Hi - you mean the Action Pod? No, it comes in the std box - the Action Pod is vibrating - the GO3 doesn't - yes you can turn off the led lights in the settings. Best
@@MountMediaChannel oh great! I'm going to get then an 3rd party action mount that I read that doesn't wobble, because I thought that the "acrion" had a different box (like one R ultimate different than the twin mod)... I still love the go2 vibrating because I don't need to withdraw attention with the beeping, but that's life...
well I bought one, and,,,I have yet to put any videos I made so far,,the thing heats up a lot and right away when turned on,,when trying to upload to my computer everything locks up forcing a restart, when I turn it on in the pod it records right away not showing any menu,,even though it was sealed in the box,I suspect this was a return sold as new,,
To get better audio the only real solution is an external mic - I'm not a big fan of ND Filters on these kind of cameras - the GO3 needs a lot of light for good image quality and the electronic stabilization works only with really sharp images
Thanks!
You are able to explain things in a simple and exhaustive way, thanks for this video!
The best review I have seen of a product of any kind in a long time. Smooth, detailed, and void of unnecessary jump cuts/editing.
One of the best tutorials I have ever seen on RUclips. Great job. Thank you.
After watching many insta360 go 3 videos I can easily say that your video is the best! 💯
I agree thanks to this man
This tutorial is flawless, outstanding editing and production.

Thank you. My Go 3 arrived today. I haven’t downloaded the app yet, but will do that now. Those are impressive features in the app.
Have fun!

Дякую, це один з найкращих оглядів на цю камеру. Багато деталей та дрібниць, яких не було в інших відео👍
wow this is the best explanation so far

A lot of reviewers are only talking about the action pod.. you are so far the first one to speak about the phone…🫡 also the operation in such details…
On my way to get one after this well detailed insta go 3 review - thanks🙂
thank you for the video! a downside of it is that it is a bit hard to differentiate 'free' and 'three' whenever you pronounce them.

Thank you Michael!
Best tutorial I've seen here on YT! I'm getting mine tomorrow. Thanks to you, I have a good idea how it all works.
Thanks for your video. I was looking for a tutorial on how to do vortex effect in the app
Hi, I like to learn more about shooting with different ND filters. Which will you recommend to shoot for sunset and star lapse videos…
thanks for a great review.
How is the low light scene?
can you do a video comparison with X3, which seems to be the nearest competitor
Best tutorial ive seen! Thank you for helping begginers like me

Which has better horizon lock? I try to find a camera to capture my camera behind the scènes photography weddings
Have you tried recording while the pod is connected to a powerbank? Does it work like a gopro does?
Wonderful tutorial thank you for taking the time
Great video, thanks for showing the modes I need to be shooting in, I make RUclips but also TikTok so I didn’t know how to do the framing
👏👏👏 the best review of insta go 3
Well detailed video 💯 Thanks mate!!
Thanks man. I have problem with sun over exposure. Any idea? Is it EV?
So question, can you transfer the files from the camera straight to a hard drive instead of a pc?
Outstanding video, so well explained!
Super informative thanks 🎉
Great tutorial, nice filing examples and also instructions explained in an easy to understand way. Well done sir

Where can I get the pendant adjustment insert? Is it sold separately?
This was excellent 👍🏽
Is it possible to take photos with the GO3?
Muy bueno tu vídeo. Muchas gracias
Can't wait to try it out. Mine arrives tomorrow!
OMG thx for that, I just want to know how to shoot freeframe without the Action pod

Hi, narrow was only included in the first firmware. It was removed because it is only used by a few users. Best

So is horizon lock on automatically in Freeframe mode? It would be great if it was available in Video mode.
Do you know how to enable 360 horizon lock on go 3?

It's pretty good , image quality is always a placebo affect , you can 5k the most boring vid
